VIEWS! Texas Hill Country - Terra Vista

Escape to our private hill town and take in the fantastic views of the Texas Hill Country. You will enjoy a 270 degree view of the hill country! The privacy and views are sure to amaze you.

Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on your private 40ft Balcony overseeing the Hill Country.

At sunset, walk to the center of the property, sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine or bubbly, in our comfy Adirondack chairs.

Terra Vista has one bedroom and one bathroom and is 810 sq ft. The villa sits between our Home and our Guest Barn, but is not as close as homes in a subdivision. You have absolute privacy but are not completely alone in the woods. This type of vacation is for those who want the most amazing views and privacy but don’t mind sharing the circle driveway, grill, firepit and swimming pool with other guests.

With three buildings on a private hill, we call this Our Hill Town. We loved visiting some of the beautiful hill towns of Italy and we feel as if we have discovered our own here in Dripping Springs.

We are surrounded by wineries, wedding venues and breweries.

Terra Vista is on the ground floor, has a carport, and a queen sized bed. Additionally, the living room has a sofa sleeper that sleeps 2. The living room tv has an added blueray/dvd player with various movies to watch. This unit is warm and inviting. A true private getaway!

2 TVs in unit. One in the bedroom, one in the living room. Internet with wifi.

Washer and Dryer, Full kitchen and a large private Patio/Deck.

All linens provided. All linens including the Duvet covers on beds are washed after every guest.

Minutes away from Camp Lucy, The Creek Haus, Bell Springs Winery, Graveyard Vineyards tasting room, Hawks Shadow Winery and Texas Hill Country Olive Company.

The driveway is paved and is .8 miles long. Enjoy a daily stroll down and back to the gate, or venture out into the 21 acres of woods. We have a 2.75 mile hiking path that meanders through the property and along the lower road.

Sit on your private balcony and enjoy the views and wildlife.

Large Swimming pool with loungers and umbrellas are behind the main house. Use at your leisure. The pool is an easy 72 steps away from the Villa.

Keurig Coffee pods, cream and sugar are included in the villa.

Please note that this is a private Hill Top Residence and we work hard to keep our property quiet and peaceful for all guests. . Please do not give out our gate code and/or invite any additional unregistered guests to our property.

This unit is open for children and/or a pet. Two pets per visit.

The property was much more than we expected. The view was spectacular. The host and hostess were magnificent so helpful and friendly we had an excellent day and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a beautiful hideaway

This accommodation was so relaxing and was just what we needed for a great getaway in Hill Country! The views from the porch were awesome and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset here! The facility was clean and beautifully decorated. Snacks and drinks were provided when we arrived. We enjoyed meeting Cindy and her husband, they were so nice and fun! We will definitely consider coming back to this wonderful Our Hill Town on the perfect bluff that offers wonderful views all around!! Much Thanks!

Had a relaxing stay at this dog friendly property. It was so clean and pristine, it felt like no one had been there before! The pictures don't do the views justice. The sunsets were incredible and there were 360 views in all angles. Cindy and Troy were very thoughtful and considerate hosts. It was lovely meeting them and the other guests that were staying on property. I will definitely be back.

Such a warm welcome by both the host, Troy and Cindy.Your incredible hospitality made our stay truly special. Loved all the special amenities such as water, snacks, and treats for my dog. That was so sweet of you. Your place is very beautiful, you really set the bar high as host and accommodations.

Everything was amazing, we did not know what a treat we were getting. The views were stunning, almost felt like we were in another part of the world. The place was impeccably clean, which is always a comfort. The hosts were so sweet and hospitable, this made our trip to Lavender festival the most relaxing start and end to our busy days. Would love to come back in the cooler months and sit around the fire pit and watch the beautiful sunset.

The hosts were amazing! So was the view, the entire unit was clean, had welcoming gifts and full access to a private patio as well as parking. 10/10 will be booking again!

Listing and expectations were met when we arrived at the property. Amazing place to relax and enjoy.

We went to Dripping Springs for a wedding and found this gem of a place to stay at. We really enjoyed the amazing house and pool with stunning views. Will definitely visit again.

Fabulous hill country weekend getaway

What a great location! Perfect for a weekend getaway. Off the beaten path feel but close to activities and adventures. Gorgeous views even more stunning than the photos and superb hosts. Can't wait to return!

Excellent vacation home

We recently stayed at this house on the top of hill. It is exactly what I expect for a relaxing escape. The scenery is so beautiful, sunset, stargazing, pool on the hill and morning hiking. The host Cindy and Troy are very nice people. And I really like the internal design by Cindy.

Wonderful experience

New Year

Our stay was amazing! Everything was perfect. Cindy and Troy are wonderful hosts and, oh, the views are panoramic, and absolutely breathtaking. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you lead a busy life and crave a peaceful, serene, experience for some needed rest and relaxation in a home away from home environment, this is it.

Gorgeous views & amazing stay.

This place was not only beautiful but it was thoroughly clean. I mean really, really clean. Even the porch was spottless and the chair cushions were super clean & comfortable. The fire circle Adirondack chairs looked brand new. The hosts are so kind and take their word, the sunset is absolutely breathtaking from that spot. The little touches they add just make it even more enjoyable. The snacks, the wine, the bath bomb, my goodness. I definitely felt pampered. We will be staying here again.

Cute house in a spectacular location

I took a solo getaway and this place was perfect. The location is simply stunning - I couldn’t get enough of the views. The house is very clean and well stocked. The only negative was that the people who rented the space above sounded like elephants while walking around. If you’re light sleepers, maybe consider renting the upstairs unit insyead But other than that, I loved this place! I’d highly recommend it.

Cindy and Troy were wonderful hosts. As others have mentioned, the property was spotless when we arrived. The views are incredible, and the sunsets and moonrises over the Hill Country were a highlight of our stay.We love escaping to the Hill Country from Houston and have stayed in several areas over the years. Dripping Springs was a great home base for exploring Wimberley, Pedernales Falls, and Driftwood while still feeling peaceful and tucked away.What stood out most was how thoughtful everything felt. It had the attention to detail of a boutique hotel with the privacy and space of a vacation rental. I especially loved starting my mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee and wrapping myself up in one of the cozy robes they provided after a shower. The pool is gorgeous, though we regretfully never found time to use it during our 4 night stay. My husband also needed to work remotely during part of the trip and the Wi-Fi was excellent.Our dog is in her golden years and we try to bring her along whenever we can. Cindy and Troy made us feel completely welcome with her. She devoured the treats Cindy left and quickly made herself at home. One of my favorite memories from the trip is the photo Cindy took of the three of us during our final sunset. It's one I'll treasure for years.If you're looking to escape the city, slow down for a few days, and enjoy the beauty of the Hill Country, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed. lovely and so peaceful!!

This lovely property is secluded on a vista in the hill country. The villa (stayed in the upper level Bella Vista)is a spacious apartment perfect in every detail - I wanted for nothing during my stay - every comfort has been addressed. This villa is new and spotless - the bed comfortable and there is a large bathroom...A sunrise with a few clouds is not to be missed - well worth getting up early for - and can be viewed from the balcony running the length of the villa or from the living area or bedroom - all of these spaces have comfortable seating inviting you to relax and enjoy the view. Unbelievably quiet with only the sound of the wind and an occasional bird...It is a quick trip back into the town of Dripping Springs - get a pizza at the Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs and dine on the balcony of the villa. I can't say enough wonderful things about Sunset Villas.

Pictures don't do justice to the view

That's no criticism of the pictures--they just can't capture how panoramic the view is. We stayed in the Bella Vista (upstairs) unit, which was beautifully appointed and so comfortable. The units face east, so you can watch the spectacular sunrises from any room. (For the non-Texans who visit, that's also much better on searing summer days.) Although we didn't do any real cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped so you could if you wanted. Despite the quiet and remote feel of the property, Dripping Springs is less than 15 minutes away with several excellent restaurants. (Besides Rolling in Thyme and Dough, we liked Homespun and the Creek Road Cafe. El Rey has good Mexican breakfasts, too.) There's much to see in the area, but the property is so comfortable and pleasant, you may find yourself sightseeing a lot less and just enjoying the views and peacefulness at the Hilltop Villas a lot more. We'd love to come back again.

Weekend getaway

Wonderful views, clean and comfortable accommodations, delightful hosts. A real gem in the hill country.

Wonderful and relaxing

The setting was really beautiful and it was quiet. Perfect place to decompress and totally disconnect.

We are Cindy and Troy. Our Hill Town feels like it's away from the city but we're merely a 15 minute drive to Dripping Springs Central, and the HEB grocery store.

We love being hosts. It gives us an opportunity to share this amazing view and property with others.

Our neighborhood is quiet and serene. When you are here at Our Hill Town, you will feel as if you are a hundred miles away from civilization. However, you will only be 8 miles from the grocery store and even closer than that to local wineries.

We love that the neighborhood is quiet and private, yet close to town.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

When we drove up to the property, the views took our breath away. When you come over the ridge of the driveway, the whole area opens up and you see Our Hill Town and the vast views around.

We love Italy and their hill towns. Now we feel as if we have a hill town of our own and call this private hill top: Our Hill Town.
