Frankie was, without a doubt, the perfect guest. We wish all our guests were as respectful, cooperative, and helpful as he was! Frankie took great care of our property, leaving it immaculate. More impressively, when he encountered the unexpected issue of the smart lock battery needing replacement, he immediately brought it to our attention and insisted on taking care of it himself to prevent any further inconvenience. He handled this unexpected maintenance need completely in stride and with zero fuss. He is highly recommended, and we would be thrilled to welcome him back anytime. Thank you, Frankie!

House is in a good location, does need some updating, general maintenance done. The golf cart did not work at all. The golf cart was the only reason we selected this particular rental. Our biggest complaint is the efficiency of the a/c. The master bedroom pretty much gets zero a/c. On the first night, I got up in the middle of the night and slept in one of the twin beds. Definitely didn't intend to spend 1700 and sleep on twin beds while on vacation. The rental has a few little beach items, no towels included. The property does have a nice pool with a hot tub. It's somewhat of a walk to the beach without the golf cart.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the good location and the pool and hot tub area, but we are genuinely sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. Regarding the golf cart, it is provided as a complimentary amenity for our guests. While it is normally fully functional—as many of our past reviews can attest—mechanical issues can occasionally arise unexpectedly, and we deeply regret that it was out of service during your visit. We also wish you had reached out to us about the air conditioning during your first night. Because the home goes into an energy-saving eco-mode when unoccupied, it can occasionally take a little longer to cool down upon arrival, especially during warmer months. However, had we known you were uncomfortable, our maintenance team would have been happy to troubleshoot the unit immediately to ensure you were resting comfortably in the king master bed. For future reference and for other guests, the walk to the beach is within a safe, gated community with a private entrance, and many guests enjoy the stroll. Alternatively, personal vehicles can also be parked just a minute away from the beach entrance parking spaces. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, as it helps us ensure a better experience for future travelers. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide a seamless stay.

We love staying in MaraVilla, it’s a great property with lots to offer. The house was nice and plenty of room for our family. Having the golf cart was a fun option. I do wish it had newer appliances and better kitchen cookware. The microwave and washer and dryer are old and falling apart. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay.

While they may have a more classic look, they are premium, heavy-duty machines selected specifically for their superior performance and durability in a vacation rental setting—far outlasting and outperforming many newer, less durable models. We also recently added the above-range microwave as an updated primary unit, keeping the secondary countertop model as a handy bonus for extra convenience. We had an amazing time staying here. One of the pools is right behind the house and its a quick walk to beach access. The golf cart was an added plus, but definitely not needed since everything is so close. We would definitely book to stay again.

Lauren was a pleasure to communicate with throughout the booking process. She planned well ahead, inquiring about the coffee maker type and parking availability for their extra vehicles. It was clear they were organized and considerate of the space. Their use of the golf cart for shuttling around was a great way to navigate the property! Even better, Lauren was proactive in letting me know about a couple of minor maintenance issues they encountered during their stay. The fact that they informed me well in advance allowed me to address the problems before the next guests arrived later that same day. This kind of heads-up is incredibly helpful as a host, and I truly appreciate it. Overall, Lauren and her family were model guests – communicative, respectful, and thoughtful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any future Airbnb host.

We had a wonderful week here. The house was right next to the pool and a short walk to the beach. The golf cart was very convenient for morning coffee/soda trips and the owners had a lot of balls/towels/ect for both the pool and beach. We will be back!

Property was as described. Perfect little cottage, it was comfortable and clean. Perfect location with the pool and pickleball courts right behind the cottage. Not a bad walk at all to the beach. The golf cart was nice to have at the property, made it nice to not always have to get in the car to go to restaurants and the beach. Overall, we would definitely come back and visit using this same property.

House was nice and clean and fully stocked with all the necessities you would ever need! Walking distance to the beach but the golf cart made it super handy to run to the beach with or visit local restaurants with! Communication was amazing with the property manager! Would definitely stay again!

Nice little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Security good. Nice to be away from the busy Destin area. Golf cart was very useful. Nearby pools were great. Owners response was always timely. Beach staff were pleasant and helpful. Private beach for beautiful.

Great communication

Host was always available even for my silly questions on how to work the tv. We left an item at the home and he was so kind to mail it to us. The neighborhood was very nice and the location was excellent!
