Located in the private gated community of Las Gaviotas, this quintessential Mexican casita with a modern flair has amazing whitewater views. With vistas of both surf breaks, it is perfect for the surfer in all of us. Enjoy the community's gorgeous grounds, meandering boardwalk, ocean front pool and spa, and private sandy beach. Las Gaviotas is centrally located close to Rosarito, K38, Puerto Nuevo, La Fonda and Guadelupe Valley. Feel safe in this private gated community with on-site security. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home features a panoramic ocean view, vaulted wood-beam ceilings, a 55'' flat screen with Apple TV, updated kitchen, comfortable beds, and a modern touch of Mexican decor throughout.

You can access the entire house, parking spaces, the pool and hot-tub, tennis courts, shuffle board, small playground, and private sandy beach. Enjoy a stroll throughout the community's cobblestone streets and scenic boardwalk.

PLEASE NOTE: Las Gaviotas HOA has strict rules regarding the number of guests. Any additional guests or day visitors will either be turned away at the front gate or fined.

Beautiful visit

All was lovely and effortless at Matt and Anna’s place in Las Gaviotas. The views are beautiful from the open sliding door wall, bringing the sounds of the ocean into the living room. Space was clean and comfortable. The community has easy beach access to several surf breaks right out front and is a great jump-off point to head south into Valle de Guadalupe or north into Rosarito, or just stay put and enjoy the serene comfort of this home.

Nice little getaway

This is the third time i have rented this property. I really enjoy it. It has the perfect setup for two couples. The two separate bedrooms with adjoining bathroom/shower allows privacy. My wife’s complaint is that the decor is not Mexican like so many places for rent in Las Gaviotas. To me it is the very reason that I like it. The modern contemporary look is right up my alley. The entire west wall opens up to a very panoramic view of the sea. I open it as soon as i get up. Make a cup of coffee and just sit on the patio and stare and ponder about what i want to do that day. I think that the unit is very reasonably priced compared to what I would have to pay for something similar in San Diego. The place is clean, close to numerous restaurants, there is a brand new Calimex market opened up right next to Puerto Nuevo , 45 minutes to Valle de Guadalupe. All the appliances are new looking and top notch. I can get here in less than two hours from my house. Always a go to when I want a mid week get away. If I have one complaint it is there is no shot glasses for my tequila. At least I couldn’t find any. Next visit i will donate some to the house. Love this place. If you rent you will not be sorry

Magical Stay

Our family of four had a magical stay at Matt and Anna's Modern Casita! Beautiful home. Extremely clean. AMAZING OCEAN VIEWS. Peaceful atmosphere (felt very safe). Great HOA community with wonderful amenities (private beach, pool, tennis courts, playground, etc). Quiet neighbors. Excellent surf (with perfect views from their deck while drinking morning coffee and afternoon margaritas). Matt and Anna responded very quickly with our questions and were helpful hosts. We definetly are looking forward to future visits!

We had an amazing time here!

We booked this place for our wedding weekend and we loved it. Very modern and the view is spectacular. This is one of the nicest homes we’ve seen at Las Gaviotas and it’s perfect with two full suites and a huge kitchen!

Perfect for two couples!

We were very happy with our "top side" rental home as it was modernized, clean and comfortable. The view from the back deck was incredibly nice so that we could see the surf conditions instantly. Although the kitchen did not offer an oven, there were a couple of terrific restaurants nearby (Ollie's pizza and a relatively new brewery/sushi spot across the street). The surfing break was just a short walk down the path. We found ample parking next door and on the street for our 2 cars. We would return again to this nice home.

Everything was great!

This was our first time at Las Gaviotas. The community is awesome, nice, clean and safe. The house is very nice, modern and very comfortable! We wouldn't change a thing about it. The sliding glass door allows for a full view of the ocean and the surf spot. The entire Kitchen/living space is open making the space very 'big'! Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are nice and clean.... The pool was very nice, the beach even better! We'll be back!!

A Dream Specious Casita!!!

We absolutely loved this Casita. Las Gaviotas is a perfect getaway and staying at this beautiful, welcoming home made everything more enjoyable. You can feel that it was created with love. The design is modern; while filled with authentic charming local flair. Everything is so well thought out! The view is incredible . . . the glass doors sliding open all the way, give the feeling of outside living while enjoying the relaxation of being back home after a long day at the beach. We never felt like we were missing out when we wanted to rest at the house. The owners Matt and Anna are great at responding right away with any questions. Thank you! (Bravo)

Las Gaviotas is such a pretty and clean community. The house was recently demodeled and looks amazing. It was very comfortable and clean (my allergy ridden husband had a great time). Huge opening doors to balcony with ocean view. We had a great stay.

Perfect Casita for 4 with Amazing View

Very clean, comfy beds, open floor plan, and a great deck with 180 degree views of the ocean. Anna and Matt were very easy to connect with and answered every question we had. I highly recommend staying here.

Ocean front bliss

Great property, the photos just dont do the amazing view justice. Once you look out the front you will immediatley start to relax. Loved the property and Las Gaviotas. Everything is so clean and well maintained. The property manager Alexei was fantastic, totally went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, and perfect. Dont hesitate to book this property! Amazing how great the weather is just an hour and 45 min from San Diego. Parking was easy, property was clean, great cable tv service and Apple Tv was awsome. The private beach here was really nice, our 3 year old loved it! This place is safer than just about anywhere I have ever been! No worries at all when you are on yhe property!

Amazing views with comfortable bed

My husband and I rented this property for our wedding weekend. Matt and Anna were very responsive from the moment we reserved the property with all of the information we would need to make our stay unforgettable. Anna referred me to Alexei, the property manager, who was amazing! He set up for us to have a driver down to wine country and to have in house massages on one of the mornings. He was so incredibly helpful and gave wonderful recommendations! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Alexei was. He really made our wedding weekend perfect. The house was wonderful as well. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the stay. The property is lovely and we really enjoyed walking with our coffee down on the path by the ocean. That is also where we took our wedding pictures which turned out beautiful!! The only problem with Las Gaviotas is that all of the homes are very close together so if you have neighbors you aren't too fond of you are kind of stuck. There was never noise at night, I think they do a great job of regulating that, but during the day there could be some noise. We didn't care because we were only in the house in the morning and later evenings before bed! All in all, this was a beautiful home with a property manager that really makes the experience exceptional! Did I mention Alexei took the time to speak to me twice on the phone to plan out the weekend because he wanted to make sure we had the best experience!?! He's the best! I highly recommend this home!

Very well kept and extremely comfortable. Property manager Alexei was attentive. Zero issues.

Although we expected this property to be much closer to the water, we ended up preferring this location since it was a little further away from all the hustle and bustle of the community. Would absolutely stay here again. The entire experience, from being able to check in earlier than we originally expected, meeting the property manager Alexei, and overall comfortability of the property, everything was outstanding. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at this charming two bedroom in the heart of Las Gaviotas!

My husband and I returned to Las Gaviotas to celebrate our anniversary where we honeymooned 15 years ago. We had such a relaxing time in the safe gated community and eating delicious food at Puerto Nuevo. We had a wonderful stay at Matt and Anna's house. Everything looks just like the pictures online. The view is gorgeous from the patio and the updated light fixtures and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful! The house was very inviting and felt homey. The pool and Jacuzzi are a very close walk as well as the walkway by the shore for beautiful strolling. The friendly host Alexi came soon after we checked in to introduce himself. Just a little tip if you are coming from out of the country make sure that you have data on your cell phones because the Wi-Fi was pretty patchy and slow. The Apple TV that is there worked great. We were pretty bummed about one situation that happened during our stay. For over 24 hours we had no hot water. We called and texted the host multiple times but we never got a response back. After more than a day had passed my husband ended up finding the water heater and relighting it. That solved the problem but it was a major bummer to not have hot water during a three night getaway. When he stopped by during checkout he didn't even mention the lack of hot water and didn't ask if it had been resolved. We also would have loved to have a little information about the area and some restaurant suggestions there for us so we didn't have to bother anybody asking questions. It didn't matter though we had an adventure and ate at some wonderful places! It was so wonderful to be back at the place where we started our marriage together ❤️ That being said, we really enjoyed our time at the home and plan to go back if we ever get time away from our five wonderful kids. Thank you for wonderful memories and a relaxing time!

Very nice and well equipped condo in the beautiful Las Gaviotas.

The condo is small but very inviting and well equipped with everything you need to cook in. The soaps and shampoos provided were a bonus. The view from the balcony is stunning, perfect for watching sunsets. My only complaint about this condo is the wifi, it is essentially non existent as it disconnects with regularity. The community of Las Gaviotas is beautiful, well maintained and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a Baja vacation including a clean ocean beach, a lovely oceanfront pool and a large hot tub. On top of all of this there is the assistance provided by Alexei, who was wonderful!! He provided restaurant recommendations (places that despite 20+ years of traveling in this area we had yet to try) that were spot on and in addition he arranged for a very nice woman named Angelica to come to our condo for pedicures on the balcony, what a treat!!! We will absolutely be back next year!!
