Should you decide to visit the picturesque town of Pinehurst, then look no further? Perched in Pinehurst, is less than a half mile from The Pinehurst Resort, and is nestled between Golf Course #5 and The Harness Track. If you are attending a function at The Fair Barn, driving will be optional, because you can easily walk across the street. If you have come for golf, the Pinehurst Country Club is within walking distance. In addition, you will find plenty of wonderful shopping and dining opportunities nearby.

Charlotte was a wonderful host. She resolved a problem we had with the TV almost immediately. The unit was located right on hole 2 of Pinehurst #5 which was really nice. Highly recommend her place!

Fall Break Golf Getaway

Property as described, owner very responsive. Outstanding location for Pinehurst resort users, short walk to Clubhouse, The Cradle, Thistle Due and other golf amenities. Could use some updates but cozy spot with convenient location and golf views.

Puzzling Thermostat

The place was adequate for two old-timers, but too small for any more people. The thermostat on the wall was a very newish high-techy device which we could not figure out how to operate. So, we were unable to turn on any heat all week. Fortunately, we had mild weather. The AC turned on at 74 degrees so that was OK. But no heat at night meant it was cold. We used the extra blankets. jld

Girls' Getaway to Pinehurst

The condo is well decorated with a convenient location. Charlotte has it fully stocked - truly a home away from home! My friend stayed there for a girls' spa weekend, and it suited our needs perfectly. We enjoyed walks for exercise, plus all the charm of Pinehurst. The condo is older but well maintained. There are a few things that needed fixing, but Charlotte was responsive and helpful. She is an excellent host.

A great weekend at Perched in Pinehurst!

It was a wonderfully neat, quiet, relaxed condo, very clean and well organized, everything you would need for a enjoyable stay. Charlotte, the owner, has obviously put a lot of personal touches in the home, and she was a pleasure to work with. We would rate it 5 Stars and recommend to anyone, especially couples, and are already planning our stay there upon our next visit to Pinehurst. Kudos to Charlotte!

Close to Pinehurst

Close quarters but tastefully decorated. Bed very comfortable. Well equipped but compact kitchen with terrific smoothie blender. Only drawback was the uncomfortable couch/hideabed; only one of us had a comfortable seat in the living room. We at out every evening and recommend Full Moon Oyster Bar in Southern Pines and Theo's in Pinehurst Village. Someone recommend Duggan's Pub's fish & chips but they must have liked grease.

Perched on Pinehurst

It was an excellent location and met our needs as far as accommodations. We did not spend much time in the condo since we were visiting family most of the time. The only problem was the toilet handle broke and we had to flush by removing the tank lid. This was more of an inconvenience than a big deal. The property manager was very helpful and accessible.

Not what I hoped for

Location: The unit is less than forty yards from busy highway 5 and a railroad track. You will hear traffic, sirens and freight trains at various times of the day and night (including after midnight). You will also hear your upstairs neighbors. While it is accurate to list many locations as within walking distance, they are NOT SAFELY WALKABLE sites. It is a very busy road with no sidewalks, no shoulder and no foot paths to safely walk along. Unit: After the “safety broom stick lock” was removed from the track of the sliding patio door to the deck I found the door track was full of dead flies. As it turned out, the frame to the screen door was bent at the lock as if someone had tried to break in. This left over an inch gap in the screen door so that the choice was don’t use the door to have fresh air or use it and allow the flies in. The shower/tub combo had missing and moldy caulking and the shower liner curtain was stained along the bottom six inches with a orangish growth. Most bothersome was the dirty floors. After one evening of walking around barefoot my feet were so filthy that I chose to wear shoes in the unit for the remainder of my stay. I did not contact the host during my stay. My issues with the location could not be changed. I decided that even if available I did not want maintenance repair or cleaning done during my stay and I left a day early.

I am a North Carolina native. I grew up in Winston-Salem, and after leaving home I was lucky enough to live in the mountains and by the coast, at different points in my life. If you haven't already guessed, I love my home state and all of the wonderful adventures one can find here. My latest obsession is Pinehurst, NC. When I am not teaching, Moore County is where I want to be!

Like most people, I hope to retire one day, but need to bring in extra income so I can travel, just like you. Once this investment property idea hatched, I thought I would be looking at listings for at least a year, because I am very discriminating. To my surprise, my realtor and I had only one appointment. As soon as I saw this property, I was instantly sold. I found exactly what I was looking for and the rest is history. Perched in Pinehurst is cozy and convenient to the resort. It is located on Course Number Five and across the street from the Harness Track. No matter why you have come to town, this condo is conveniently located and very easy to find. It is tastefully appointed, clean and has all of the comforts of home.
