Nestled in the hill country by a 7000 acre preserve 30 minutes from Austin, Casa Mora, home for all seasons, is a tastefully decorated 3-bedroom 2 bath stone home on 2.5 acres with a secluded private pool and game room.

A perfect base to explore the energy of Austin and the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country with lakes, charming town squares, vineyards, breweries and distilleries. Or sit on the front porch or the secluded back deck with your complementary glass of wine and nature watch at your home away from home.

Casa Mora features an open floor plan: gourmet kitchen; warmly decorated living room with electric fireplace and French doors that open to outdoor patio, BBQ, eating area, outdoor fire pit, pool and expansive grounds; romantic master bedroom (queen) with electric fireplace, bath with claw foot tub and shower separated from guest bedroom (double) and office/guest (trundle with two twins). Hall bath serves both rooms.

We continually make improvements to the property: new leather couches and electric fireplace in living room; new bedding, linen and comforters in all bedrooms; electric fireplace in master bedroom; new trundle bed and desk in guest room/office; new dishes and glassware in kitchen; mosaic table imported from Morocco in outdoor dining area; newly painted porch and steps.

The quiet is exquisite. Birds and wildlife abound. The neighborhood is secure- there's only one road in and out with only occasional car traffic. Jester King Brewery and Pizza and Beerburg Brewery/restaurant are about one mile away. Many wineries, distilleries, restaurants and Texas Olive Oil Company and town of Dripping Springs are nearby.

Wedding/family reunion

My husband, myself & 2 teen daughters enjoyed our stay. The house was so cozy & quaint. We all enjoyed sitting & relaxing near the pool. Saw all kids of birds. Very private. Close to the wedding venue, wineries, restaurants & my sister’s home. Place was furnished beautifully. We loved our stay!

Casa mora was great

Nice relaxing 3 days with our daughter and her two kids. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Area is quiet and stores and services were about 10-15 mins from the house. We would stay in this place again

Anniversary Trip

This is our 6th stay at Casa Mora. We always enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and enjoy spending time in the pool. Morrie and Rachel are great hosts and always respond to any needs quickly. We intend to keep making this our destination for our anniversary trip and are already looking forward to next year!

Exactly what we wanted!

Our family wanted a nice escape to the hill country, and this place delivered! Its setting is beautiful, the deer, the animals, the pool, the woods! We loved everything, it felt like home away from home and the kids loved the pool! It was close to so many places to hike, shop, eat or swim! A perfect place to enjoy both Austin and the Texas Hill Country!

Lovely Property

Beautiful stone home with a private pool. The house was just the right size for five of us and area attractions were easily accessible. The hosts left a delightful bottle of wine for us. The pool setting was both sunny and shady, and the outdoor eating area had a BBQ pit with a nicely shaded table. Would definitely return.

Short, Wonderful Stay

We had a short relaxing stay and were visited by our great grandkids who enjoyed the pool immensely. A lovely place away from the hectic pace of the city. The game room is a plus. We look forward to returning.

Cute Little Jem!

We loved our stay at this cute house. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The backyard is beautifully decorated and the pool is very nice. The host was very responsive and even sent pool cleaners because there had just been a storm. We would love to come back!

We had another great stay at Casa Mora! This has always been a very nice and relaxing place to spend some down time and the pool is great! There are also some great places to visit nearby and Austin is a short drive if you want to enjoy some night life. We will continue to come back to enjoy this peaceful place.

House was great for my wife and I. We cooked inside and out, enjoyed the pool and the shade. Home very nice and in good shape. Deer walked right by front door. Many adventures, there is quite some distance between things - but worth it

Great Hill Country Retreat

Very lovely rental property. Shares a driveway with another home, but feels very secluded still. Very scenic, clean and refreshing swimming pool. Kids loved the separated game room. No issues with our stay- everything was great! Just what we were looking for. Short drive to Pedernales State Park. Thanks!

Annual Girl's Vacation

The property suited our requirements. Pool water was a little cool but still fun. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just what 5 adult women needed. Plus there was plenty of sitting spaces for us to talk. Would recommend this property.

Peaceful Haven

This was a great place to relax after the hustle and bustle of our city excursions. The view outside was beautiful and the pool was a wonderful place to cool down from the heat of the day. Everyone was plenty comfortable and the house had just what we needed. The owners worked very hard to accommodate us and we appreciate them greatly. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation for us all.

Nice And Relaxing

We had a great time and enjoyed staying here for the week. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool a few times a day and some ping pong. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need which was very nice and the beds/furniture was comfortable. Wifi worked great with no issues (work vacation) for me. Fredericksburg was only an hour away and were able to do a bit of shopping and stock up on peaches and Texas olive oil & vinegars. Kids had a good time at the Art Garage also which was 1 light east on Hwy 290. Schlitterbahn New Braunfels was only about an hour away also and made for a really nice scenic drive. Overall great place and location for what we were planning.

Peace and relaxation

Just enjoyed our 4th visit to this peaceful and relaxing house. Already have reservations for August to enjoy another relaxing vacation. Very quiet and close enough to Austin to enjoy great food and entertainment. The pool is a great way to kick back and relax after a long day. Love this place and will keep coming back! Lovely stay in the hill country

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at the Casa Mora. The property was exactly as advertised. The house was tastefully decorated and had everything necessary for a family. Our kids had a great time in a game room. All of our questions were expeditiously resolved by our hosts. The area is conveniently located, about a 30 min drive to downtown and minutes away from neighboring wineries and distilleries.
