The Ranch is a superb holiday property set in a stunning countryside in picturesque Glen Massan within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Only six miles from Dunoon this two level semi-detached house is the perfect home-from-home for families and friends to experience and explore this spectacular region. Featuring four double bedrooms, spacious entertaining areas and a very inviting hot tub.

Interiors
Furnished to a high standard the interior is a mix of modern and country charm. Warm and welcoming the ground level features a large entertaining/living room complete with a wood burning fire, 60 inch TV screen, surround sounds and access to the decking area.

The Ranch offers four superior double bedrooms. The three bedrooms on the upper level include the Master Bedroom with it's own en-suite, spa bath and separate rain shower. The two double bedrooms have a share bathroom with bath and separate shower. There is one double bedroom on the ground floor with a shared family bathroom.

The well equipped kitchen and dining is a wonderful space for cooking up a feast for dinner parties featuring a large oak dining table and cosy wood burning stove for chilly nights in. On summer days open the bi-fold doors and let the sunshine in.

Outside
The opened bi-fold doors lead you outside to the wonderful three level decking area with outdoor seating overlooking the garden and hot tub. The perfect atmosphere from enjoying al fresco breakfasts, sunny afternoon drinks or family BBQs.

The Ranch also offers BBQ facilities and a spacious rear garden and grassed area that leads to the banks of the Glen Massan river. Please note: There is an unfenced river near the property, 50 yards away.

Explore
Glen Massan is a wonderful base to explore this stunning region, experience mountain views from your doorstep, nearby walks or in summer explore the shallow waters and rock pools for swimming along the river. The famous Benmore Botanic Gardens are also within walking distance.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome but rules apply. Maximum two @ £20 per pet.

Lovely big retreat house

Our stay at the Ranch

Really enjoyed our stay. The host was very helpful. The location and lodge were just what we needed. The only down point was that our hot tub wasn't heated in time for our first night, as that was one of the reasons we had booked the property.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. Check in easy, everything you could want and need with the kitchen/dining , living room and log burner . Two TVs, 4 bedrooms , 3 bathrooms, hot tub and beautiful scenery right at the doorstep. Will definitely be back.

A fabulous base for a relaxing holiday

Everything about The Ranch was fabulous. The owner, Dara, was super helpful before and during our stay, offering advice and tips about the local area as well as everything to do with the house. The location is simply stunning with a small river at the bottom of the garden and a river beach about 2 minutes walk away. There are countless gorgeous walks, waterfalls and beaches in the area. The Ranch itself is so comfortable and spacious. The beds are comfy, there are 3 bathrooms including a jacuzzi bath in the main bedroom ensuite. We are a family of 6 and The Ranch suited us perfectly. I'd highly recommend for a stay in the area. We would happily have stayed longer.

Fantastic accommodation

Eight of us had a fantastic time in the accommodation at the Ranch. The accommodation was excellent and very clean and tidy on our arrival. The hot tub was fantastic. The under floor heating in the property meant that it was very cosy all of the time - good as the weather was wet and windy!!! Fantastic to have three bathrooms at the property too. The only thing I would have liked would have been a security light at the front of the property as it was very dark entering the property, particularly as there was a small step on the path which we could not see. Overall an excellent property and would certainly stay again.

Amazing Christmas

We stayed at this property for Christmas week with my family and inn laws and had the most amazing time, the property is stunning and set in the best location we will definitely be back

First Impressions Important

Property is very well equipped, everything is there with some nice additional features such as reclining seats, huge with equally huge TV etc, lovely modern bathrooms upstairs (not downstairs). But we started on the back foot which could so easily be changed. The exterior of the property is sad and unkempt. Plenty cobwebs greeted us and a rusty radiator in the first room I went into (downstairs bathroom). Given that it is not a lochside location but is "in-land" in a small residential development of similar properties that left us starting off fearing the worst. But The Ranch grew on us. Warm, comfortable and an attentive but not intrusive owner. Everything you need is there. And good value - nothing really to lessen our enjoyment - a few tweaks here and there. We would return.

Snowy weekend

We had a lovely snowy weekend at the cottage, slightly put of at first by the fact the house was attached however once through the front door this became irrelevant as the rooms all face the rear of the property which looks out to a lovely garden and river with no one over looking. The property was to a high standard and easy to find using the directions given.the hot tub was great and would recommend this property to anyone.
