Quiet Northwoods Camp Near ATV trails and 1,000's of Acres of State Hunting Land

Yay! We have wifi!

Our property is for those who enjoy the outdoors! We are located on groomed ATV state managed trails (you do not need to trailer your bikes, just unload them here and drive!)1000's of acres of hunting land (see the map, all the green area is public land).

The main attraction is our property, for you all that just want to sit and listen to nature, this is the spot! You will be lucky to see any more than 6 cars drive by, it's very peaceful.
We have a fire pit out front for you to kick back and enjoy. We also have some modern amenities which include wifi, shower and tub.

For those rainy days we have an awesome rec room (Man Cave) to play in with a pool table, dart boards, arcade game, poker table and a 70" tv...check out the pictures!

The upstairs bedroom that sleeps 5 has air conditioning!!

Attractions within 25 mins of camp:

Excellent Upland Grouse Hunting!! All state land next to camp.

The Green Bay if you are wanting to troll for Browns, Salmon or Walleye (Marina located in Cedar River). There are inland lakes for Bass, Pike, Perch and Gills. And the Menominee River which has excellent bass fishing!

For the golfer or gambler we have Sweetgrass Golf Course (a Symetra Tour stop) which is attached to the Island Resort and Casino. In 2018 they are opening a 2nd championship course!

DeYoung Family Zoo - a zoo like no other!

DeBacker Family Dairy, a small farm that you can buy their ice cream, cheese etc and feed some cows or goats depending on what is out. (Is just a quick little stop to check out)

Shakey Lakes Campground or Wells State Park both have beaches and parks to go to with the family.

For groceries etc the closest town is about 20 mins (Stephenson).

Pets are welcome but please scoop the poop.

For sleeping, the upper level has 3 beds that sleep 5 (it's 1 larger room w/ a twin, double and queen), the main floor has 2 futons (both are doubles) that sleep 2 each and in the recreation room there is a comfortable couch along with plenty of room for blow up beds if you have more than 10.

No smoking of any kind is allowed in any building, you will be charged $300 if this rule is broken. Thank you for understanding!

Awesome cabin

We stayed here for a week in the middle of September. We had previously stayed in 2021 around the same time frame but not as long. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for a week this time around! Secluded and quiet, plenty of room and activities for all to enjoy. We spent a few days exploring Marinette county Wisconsin, and a few days just hanging out around the fire and enjoying each others company and the wildlife that came out to watch us. Will always keep this spot at the top of our list for future visits as long as it is available to the general public. Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

Great spot for sky watching.

Beyond expectations. Large house and the game room is a separate building. It's big, like a deep 4 car garage. We came for astrophotography. It's dark. Bortle 2. There's an open field across the road so the sky is unobstructed 180* facing west. The home has everything you need except bring drinking water if you don't normally do.

Summer Vacation

This vacation was amazing, loved the game room and the grandkids got to watch the turkeys eat from the feeder in the backyard, we had a bonfire 2 nights.

Loved our stay

I loved the property and especially the cabin and rec room. Probably won’t rebook due to the rough blacktop road leading to the cabin and the dirt roads leading to the lake. It was hard on my trailer and my boat was coated with dust. Still had a great time. Thank you

Wonderful property

Property was great! Dogs had plenty of room to run. Man cave was amazing and spacious. House had everything you needed. The only thing that needs updating is air conditioning throughout house and shower head with water pressure. Our family had a wonderful time. Thank you

You won’t regret staying here!

This place exceeded our expectations. Not only is the drive/location beautiful, but the house had all we needed! Dustin and family, thank you so much for having us! Watching the wildlife at the feeders in the mornings was amazing! Ps, there is a large scary spider behind the water heater 😂

A little slice of paradise.

Beautiful property and exceptional cabin to get away and recharge. The attention to details such as dog water and food dishes and the box of toys for children was awesome! Definitely putting this as a must come back in the future!

Great private retreat

Great location. Very private wooded and close to state forest land, atv trails. House is comfy and equipped with all you need, great fire pit for outdoor fires. The game room outbuilding is a great add for rainy days or just some extra fun times.

Great getaway

Nice property in a secluded area. Well stocked with just about everything you would need or want. Enjoyed our mini vacation and would recommend to anyone looking to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Amazing Location and Family Vacation!

House was very nice and there was so much to do. Great places nearby, I highly recommend J.K. Wells state park for a day at the beach. In town Saz’s pizza and ice cream has great wings! The rec room was amazing for family bonding. Cell service is not that great but that made the location even better. No kids on their phones! It had everything we could need and more. Dustin was great and check in was beyond easy. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

So awesome - Will be back

Great spot in the middle of the woods with everything you need and more. We wished we had more time here. Tucked back in the woods it's nice and quiet across from a field - hardly any cars drove by the entire time. The game room has a nice TV with couches and of course the pool table!! We plan on making a friends trip here sometime to watch a football game on the big screen! Cheers!

This house is so Beautiful and Me and my kids enjoyed our week here

Peaceful getaway

The camp is located in a beautiful location an hours drive to many local outdoor attractions like Lake Michigan, waterfalls, whitewater rafting, mountain biking trails, etc. ATV trails are accessible right from the property. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Man Cave each evening after a peaceful campfire. The cabin is clean and it was fun to see the deer, turkeys, and other wildlife in the backyard each day. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway!

Large Recreation Room for those rainy days which includes a pool table, dual dartboards, poker table, an arcade with 60+ games and a large 70" TV with surround sound. Also outside you have a horse shoe pit, washer toss and fire pit that makes for a relaxing day of hanging out. (These can be found stored in the old outhouse next to the camp)
