This beach cottage sits on an enormous 121 foot private beach. The house is set back from the beach for the ultimate in privacy. A large, elevated rockery patio on the beach includes a small refrigerator, water, a large propane fire ring, patio furniture and a huge sun umbrella. The cottage is a split level, 3 bedroom, including an attached covered deck and an included hot tub. Low-bank beach with unobstructed views of the Puget Sound shipping lanes and the Olympic Mountains.Tons of opportunity for beach walking, exploring tide pools or just kicking back.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Dave and BJ's place. The hosts communication was incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. It is right on the beach, next to a park, had a gas and a wood burning fire pit to sit and watch the beautiful sunsets.

We love staying here. The hosts are lovely and accommodating. The property is well maintained and the park right next door is perfect for the kids. The hot tub is always a plus.

This beach cottage is amazing! The beach is easy no-bank waterfront access with a gorgeous fire pit patio area overlooking the water. The house is immaculately clean and cozy with every thing you need for a wonderful relaxing getaway. The kitchen had all the essentials , including a welcome basket with some homemade jam courtesy of our host BJ. We will definitely be back!Our hosts Dave and BJ were so welcoming, they greeted us when we arrived to make sure we didn't have any problem getting in the cottage and to personally walk us through how to use the gas fire pit and the hot tub. The hot tub and the fire pit are amazing and we made use of them every night while we enjoyed the most astounding sunsets. We're so looking forward to our next stay at this marvelous beach cottage

Incredibly clean and well stocked home! They have everything you need including lots of towels, beach towels and toys for the kids. The owners take great care of this property and it shows! We loved our 4 night stay by enjoying the huge yard, hot tub, beach and the park right next door, which our 2 yr old loved! The beach is beautiful and easy to explore. BJ and Dave were such kind hosts and we would absolutely love to come back!

This place was wonderful! Beautiful beach, fireplace overlooking the water, yard for the kids to play ball, and a great house with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials you need, including a bonus of homemade jam from BJ. We will definitely be back!

Such a special spot! We had a perfect stay and even blessed with gorgeous weather in February! The hosts were welcoming, left a gift basket, and ensured a safe and comfortable stay. We will be back!

This cottage is a dream! Beachcombers paradise with endless rocks and shells - hottub was also great. Dave and BJ were so kind and were quick to answer questions we had. Great location for being far enough away to feel private but short drives for day trips. We saw eagles, herons, harbor porpoises, moon snails, fish and one gray whale from the beach. Enough sand to make sand castles as well. Sunsets were jaw dropping. So lucky to have this VRBO available!

Great Beach Vacation

This place is great! Very clean, everything you need for cooking. The hot tub is fantastic and the beach access and views can't be beat. Can't wait to stay here again!

Had a great time at Dave & BJs! Amazing hosts who were accommodating with a request we had, incredible communication and very thoughtful. Clean and cute cottage, the welcome basket and amenities are such a nice touch. Hot tub and views can’t be beat. We will be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

The hosts were very kind and helpful! The house had charm and was well set up for all our needs. We loved the hot tub and fireplace out back, as well as the games and sports equipment provided. We had a wonderful stay and will likely come back!

Excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable, fabulous views. We especially enjoyed the owner's attention to detail. Highly recommended and we will certainly look forward to a return stay.

Wonderful stay!

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. The beach and views were amazing, the hot tub was great for being able to enjoy the outdoors even on chilly evenings. We didn’t have our kids but all the great stuff they have for kids made us wish they were with us (beach toys, basketball court, games and toys inside). We actually want to plan another trip with the whole family and stay again!

A wonderful stay on Maxwelton Beach with my family to celebrate my 70th! Our hosts were terrific and the cottage had everything we needed. We definitely will return!

Great beachfront property

We’ve stayed for a week every summer for the past five years! Nice property, with everything one needs in the house. Owners are easy to get hold of and very quick to respond.
