A great place!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the perfect place, the pool, every bedroom had their own bath, across from the beach access, close to town . We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year!

Fantastic space and location

Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific relaxing stay at this location. Needs were met, easy to follow directions for our stay, and enough space for everyone. The beds need a little help to provide a better sleep and an updated coffee pot would perfect this space

Great vacation rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were at the house last week for a family vacation. The house was well maintained and well supplied for our week there. The house is laid out nicely and is only a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

View of the water was great from the porch. Pool was nice but apparently the pump was not working. A breaker for the pump had blown. We were none the wiser and pool. We stay on St. George as much as we can and this was our best house so far. Location is great house is great! We will most definitely stay there again

Fantastic beach week

Excellent location, spacious and clean house, great pool and large deck with lots of shade. We loved this house and will be back!

Really Chillin!!

We stay on the island every year and this place was the best for everything. The views and having access to everything such as beach, stores, restaurants, and playground. Not to mention the cleaning staff, AMAZING!! I was very impressed how clean everything was, Will be back!!

Great location, nice home for family getaway

We had a great stay at Sol Mate! The location is convenient to beach access and the home is even more spacious than expected. We had everything we needed and more - extra beach gear, well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots/pans and utensils, outdoor grill and dining, spacious bedrooms, etc. Only critique to be aware of would be the bathrooms are a bit outdated. The pool was great for a break from the beach. A great house for family time!

Responsiveness and friendliness of property manager: 5 out of 5. We had a few interruptions, but items were immediately addressed. Excellent location!

Absolutely Wonderful

We just returned from a week stay at this beautiful property!! The pictures do not do it justice!! Everything was clean, spacious, lots of areas for our group of 11 to spend time together or be separated for down time! The location is perfect! Just steps to the beach and close enough to restaurants, ice cream, and the lighthouse to be able to walk! We had a couple of issues but the management was quick to respond and everything was taken care of in a very timely manner!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to St. George Island!

Fall 2019

Great location and convenient to the Island City Center. The property was well stocked with utensils, etc. The property needs a really good deep cleaning. Several in our party had respiratory issues during the stay. Overall, we plan to give this place another try next year.

Great location! Beautiful views

Large open kitchen and family room. The only disappointment was the outdoor grill was old/rusted and didn't work. I called for service w/property manager, but they never responded. Given the size of our group and purpose of our visit this was definitely a bummer. First visit to St. George Island - very low key and family friendly. Loved the area.

Rachel, I'm so sorry for the missed connection regarding the grill. We did stop by the property to provide a grill lighter which was left downstairs for use. The environment does wreak havoc on outdoor grills but the grill is otherwise working fine with the lighter for ignition. I regret we failed to follow thru with proper instructions but I am thankful that you enjoyed your first visit to the area and we hope you will return so we can serve you better in the future! Thank you for taking the time to leave an online review.

There were a few flaws upon arrival but we called and they came out and took care of everything right away. Very nice people. Definitely would stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week as a family on our first visit to SGI. This house was in a perfect location: we walked back and forth to the beach, walked to the restaurant, donuts, and playground/park. We used the path to walk, run, and ride bikes. There was a yard for the boys to play in, play baseball, etc. The beach was uncrowded - we could come set up all our wagon full of things with plenty of space at 8AM, 11AM, 2PM or in the evenings. We have never been to a beach where we were out early to save a spot. This was a wonderful, relaxing change of pace. The house had wonderful small touches that made it obvious this was someone's home, and they were proud of. The beds were comfortable; there were mini-splits to help keep everything and everyone cool; there were multiple places to rinse sand off your body or your toys/chairs; there was a downstairs bathroom; there was plenty of space in the living areas; and there was a wonderful small pool, perfect for the home. If I had to come up with something negative, the water pressure struggled to keep up when more than one person was showering or doing the dishes, which made for some difficult evenings with 10 people, but we managed. The dishwasher also struggled to clean the dishes, but we survived. :) We really had the very best time and can't wait to visit next year.

Wonderful Family Time

In the past each family has stayed in condos at The Villas but this year we included the Sol Mates house in our stay for 2 families. The kids were safe to roam around together and share time at the beach and condo pools. The house was a great addition where we shared and hosted a couple of meals and game nights. Such a blessing for our family to come together from all over the US.and enjoy time together.

Sol Mate

Property was comfortable and we enjoyed it. Some updates are needed, such as the cracked countertops, and bathroom fixtures. Several of the toilets need to be fixed, they didnt flush well. The ice maker didn't work due to water filter needing replacement. It was a wonderful location. A great week, even with these little things.

Perfect location!

We had a fantastic stay at Sol Mate. It is in the perfect location with the beach right across the street and walking distance to Blue Parrot. We had plenty of room for 3 couples and two teenagers. It was so nice to sit on the deck in the mornings for coffee and in the afternoons for cocktails. The pool was really an added bonus because we had some extremely hot days and needed to cool off. Property management called and checked in to make sure everything was okay after the first day or two, which was unexpected, but nice to know they were available if there were any issues. Be aware that the washer and dryer are under the house off the carport, so traveling up and down two sets of stairs is involved. However, this certainly was not a significant issue and I would highly recommend this rental house.
