This stunning log home with mountain views is walking distance to the bike path, hiking trails, fishing and nearby access to the National Forest. It sits on a treed lot in the Lake Forest Estates subdivision in Pagosa Springs. This is the perfect mountain getaway with all the amenities you'll need for either a restful break or an adventure packed vacation.

The first floor has a master suite with a queen bed, laundry room and large walk in pantry.

Upstairs on the main level is another master suite with a king bed, the kitchen, living room, dining room and half bath. The master suite on this level has a gas fireplace and a private entrance to a sunroom. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area and has 2 sets of French doors that open to the large front deck with mountain views.

On the third floor is the guest bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeper, a loft and a full bathroom.

Great Ski Getaway

The cabin was very cozy and warm throughout and located on the edge of a quiet neighborhood. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.

Great stay!

The place was beautiful and very spacious. The host was great at chevking in with us if we needed anything. This place was about 10 minutes from the springs and 35 minutes from Wolf creek so it was perfect for our group.

Fun weekend

Very good hosts. This property was very nice, neat and clean. The location is great to relax but only 10 minutes from restaurants, shopping and the springs.

Perfect location if you love amazing views with daily wildlife. Property is close to all amenities and in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful log home!

We loved our time at this home in Pagosa! The bedrooms are each on a different floor which gave privacy to all. The large porches were a perfect place to sip a glass of wine and view the mountains. The hosts were responsive to any needs.

Winter Retreat

We loved the cabin! It sits on a lovely piece of property, so we thoroughly enjoyed being both inside and out! The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and clean! I am so glad we chose their home to rest and relax between sledding, walking downtown and sledding.

Highly recommend

Me and my friends had the best time staying at this cabin for our annual ski trip. The cabin was stunning, very clean and plenty of space for everyone. If you’re looking for a great cabin to relax in on your ski trip this is it! I’ve rented several cabins in the past, and this one beats them all!

4th of July Getaway

We all had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing. Plenty of items were already available in the kitchen for use and everything was well stocked that would be needed on a trip. Just keep in mind that there is no AC so days can be a little warm but fans were available. Overall we couldn't ask for more.

Great getaway near hot springs!

We had a great time at the house! We were celebrating our one year anniversary so we had plenty of downtime, time together at the table eating meals and watching movies! The house has everything that’s needed and more! We would definitely come back!

Beautiful Home Close to Everything

It is an absolutely beautiful cabin with all the comforts for a home away from home. Stocked with everything you need and a Walmart close by for all the rest. Each floor has its own room giving you family privacy. Our teen daughter loved having the downstairs all to herself. Beautiful views and a complete 5-star rating! We can’t wait to go back and enjoy it in the Winter.

Even better the 2nd time!

This was our family's second time staying at the Pagosa Mountain Lodge. Our family loves this property - perfectly situated on the side of a hill with a deck wrap around deck that allows you to enjoy every sunset in peace after a long day of exploring the area. Extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean. More than enough room for our group of 4 Adults/2Kids.

Lovely Home with Great Views!

We enjoyed our stay at this home so much! The view from the front porch was beautiful! We spotted wildlife each day and even a double rainbow after a late day rain! The log home was perfect for our family and was equipped with many extras that made our stay even better! It is located near restaurants and grocery stores for eating out or staying in. The house is centrally located to the day trips we took to Durango, Silverton, Telluride, Lake Nighthorse, Chimney Rock, etc. The hosts were very communicative and the house even exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back!

Great views and location

This was a work weekend but we still had a nice time. The views are great and we saw a bunch of turkeys around the house. It was a good thing it wasn’t Thanksgiving! Lol! The kitchen is well equipped so we cooked a few meals. I would recommend this rental to anyone unless you can’t climb steps. Thanks again for letting us stay in your log cabin with great views!

Mountain Tranquility

This is a property that can comfortably handle a multi-generational family (grandparents down to infants). When you enter the property on the main floor it feels like you are coming home. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are well appointed, and there are plenty of places to lounge as a large group or as an individual seeking some solitude. Check-in and Check-out procedures were easy to understand and follow. The neighborhood is quiet and their are plenty of opportunities to encounter deer and turkeys as they stroll by early in the morning or late in the day.

Met our expectations and more

We spent a long weekend here to celebrate my mom’s 85th birthday with family. There were five adults and we had plenty of room to spread out. We all agreed that the pictures don’t do the property justice. Lots of deer and turkey for us to watch in the morning and evenings. On the huge porch. A really nice kitchen to do some cooking it and while the property feells remote it’s only a few minutes into town. I highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a nice Colorado vacation with a great view of the mountains.

Great big house that is well equipped.

This is a great house that has everything you might need included in a great location. One of best outfitted houses we have stayed in. Only issue we had was with internet service which other reviewers have mentioned. We did not have internet the first week until technicians came out and then it would still go out for short periods. That's important if you are trying to work from "home". Other than that is was great.

Ski trip- Pagosa Springs

Beautiful home, great location! Loved having 3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms/ kitchen well-stocked with everything you would need to prepare family meals. Great views- even had 4 elks grazing on the side of the house one day. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy after a day of skiing at Wolf Creek. Loved the huge porch - walk outside and see the beautiful stars at night and the amazing sunrise each morning. Cindie -property coordinator was quick to responds to any questions prior to our visit and was available if needed during our stay! We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful mountain lodge and without a doubt, we would book this home again on future visits to Pagosa Springs! This home and property coordinator get a 5+ star rating from my family! Thanks for sharing this amazing home with our family!

The Mountain Lodge

Wonderful stay in a wonderful property. The Mountain Lodge was exactly as described and portrayed online. It was well equipped and supplied satisfying all our needs. Although we were only two on this trip, this property would comfortably accommodate many more, with lots of room to spread out. It is well situated in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful mountain views in all directions. Early on, we had a bit of a problem with the wi-fi, but the property manager responded promptly to get the matter resolved. We experienced warmer than normal temperatures, so the lack of air conditioning was an issue. This is not a complaint but an observation as we were fully aware that there was no air conditioning. Addressing this issue would be all that is required to make this an absolutely perfect location even in the heat of summer.
