My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The apartment is above a detached garage with private balcony. stunning views of city lights and rolling hills. If you have little ones we have a fire pit for smores. Our full size kitchen and laundry facilities within the apartment. Please enjoy our beautiful pool area with a bathroom and dry sauna within pool area.

Perfect Stay with Breathtaking Mountain Views

I had a wonderful stay at Renee’s place! The space was spotless and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The highlight was definitely the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The check-in process was seamless, making the entire experience hassle-free. I highly recommend this Vrbo and would love to stay here again!

It had a nice comfortable feel and the bed was comfortable. Some things to consider: I emailed a few questions over a month before I was scheduled to arrive and didn’t hear back until about 3 or days before. Communication was definitely not present until just before. Check-in Email listed a few outdated pieces of information and the pool is literally part of the main house so not really private. The pics on line are a bit deceiving. Checkout rules included a few inaccuracies as well: trash cans were overflowing and there were no trash bags in the kitchen trash can or under the sink for that matter. It is a 10-15 min drive to any food/groceries/gas so you will need to get anything before you head up the mountain. It’s a pretty windy road but beautiful when you get there. Overall a 4 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful view and spacious 1-BR

Our stay was over a weekend in mid-March. We enjoyed the open floor plan, comfortable bedroom and large kitchen. Laundry was a nice feature. The listing only shows close up pictures of most spaces and furniture in apartments and I suspect this is because there are many cosmetic wear and tear on things like baseboards, a few floor tiles, and edges of furniture and carpet. We loved the peaceful environment. The owner was responsive and gave us clear checkin and checkout instructions. We appreciated the tip to get food at the freeway exit and the grocery store recommendations were very helpful.

I would recommend this place to anybody. It’s beautiful. It’s quiet. The host is an amazing person. The view is beautiful and I would love to come back.

Peaceful,reclusive,relaxing but yet close to town.

Thank you Renee for our short but beautiful stay. It was a pleasure meeting you and we had everything we needed. It actually, surpassed what we expected. We were hoping to extend our stay however it was a busy time for you. We will definitely, plan on staying with you again on our next trip .

Relaxing Vacation

I stayed at a 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment over a 3-car garage. There was a pool and areas to sit in the backyard. The views from the yard and the balcony in the apartment were great, but partially obscured by the Line Fire that was burning in the far distance. You are in the Santa Ana Mountains. The only problem I had were ants in the bathtub, a few in the bathroom sink, and a few on the counter with the kitchen sink. The ants may have been coming from the garage.

Beautiful location

The drive up into the hills was an adventure! We were excited as we got deeper and deeper into a really great area. The host provided good information about the location of the house, where to park etc. The apartment was everything it was promised to be. If anything it was larger and more spacious than I expected. It was perfect for my mom and I. We really enjoyed the pool as it was quite hot while we were there.

Beautiful property!! Much nicer than any hotel and for such a great price. LOVED the outdoor scenery. The pool was stunning but unfortunately was a bit dirty with leaves and bugs so we didn’t use it as much as I would have liked. Large kitchen with everything you could possibly need. You could literally cook an entire thanksgiving dinner if you wanted to lol. AC works great!! But the bedroom does get hot at night so you may want to bring an extra fan if you run hot. Can’t wait to stay here again!! 😊

Cozy and scenic!

Renee was such a wonderful and accommodating host, and her place was clean, cozy, and had all the essentials for our holiday stay! You can tell that she takes pride as a host and really cares about her guests through the thoughtful touches around the place. We adore this property, and it has such beautiful views! Also, plans with my dog sitter fell through, and she let me bring my dog at a very minimal fee. This really saved our trip and made everything less stressful for us, so we're very grateful to her. She also replies pretty quickly, so you never have to worry about anything. We loved everything about our stay, and we look forward to booking with her again!

Self love retreat

I was pleased walking inside it was spacious and clean, nice. Originally it was supposed to be my fiancé and I for a romantic get away but an emergency came up. So I made it a self love n care retreat. I absolutely loved the pool it was my favorite part. I wanted to live there, I cried having to leave. Two suggestions / it could use a full length mirror and a portable fan in the closet for those of us that run hot. The bedroom ceiling fan is not above the bed. I’d like to go back there again.

Quiet and tranquil!

Perfect out of the way location but close to so much. The apartment was very welcoming and cozy. Communication with Renee was great! I will stay here again in the future!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!

Worst experience I have ever had. When we arrived all we could hear was someone inside the main house screaming obscenities(horrific name calling). We did not feel comfortable staying here at all and had to get a hotel at the last minute which ended up being very expensive.........the home owner refused to work with us and kept our money. A HORRIBLE experience and the last thing we wanted to worry about the night before our wedding. Nobody deserves to be treated this way, I hope this review prevents it happening from anyone else. STAY AWAY!!!!

Secluded garage apartment in the hill country

What a wonderful find! The house is so much more spacious in person than you can see from the photos. It’s far enough out of the city to relax in the evening. While still being a close enough to explore and visit new beaches every day. Kitchen is set with everything you need, washer and dryer, huge master bedroom and a great balcony looking over the killer pool area. We loved staying here and will return on our next trip to San Diego!

This was amazing. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful. Home owners were so nice and helpful.

This was a beautiful place. Highly recommend this for a peaceful get away. We really had a great time. The apartment was really nice. Maintained and comfortable.

Peaceful and private

It was off the beaten path, very quiet, lovely views from the balcony. Good living space. We had all the privacy we wanted.
