Imagine driving to a secret hideaway nestled in a deep canyon with a beautiful tree-lined stream running through it - a magical land that borders the west side of majestic Zion National Park. Our enchanting, romantic Cottage is situated on the famous 750 acre Sunset Canyon Ranch conveniently located for adventures in Zion National Park, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Snow Canyon, and even Las Vegas. After a day of exploring our breathtaking country with the hustle and bustle of other tourists, you can look forward to returning to the comfort of your private Shangri-la.
Romantic, cozy, and comfortable! The Cottage is ideal for an amorous getaway or just a rejuvenating, peaceful retreat for two! 850 sq. ft, with living, dining, kitchen, bath, and master bedroom. TV in the bedroom as well as living room. Wood burning fireplace (seasonally) Private patio with bbq, outdoor dining, and year-round hot-tub under the stars. You'll find many amenities in addition to hiking, biking, and exploring Zion Park, including a sport-court for playing pickleball, tennis, or basketball, access to the ranch pool and ping-pong table, catch and release fishing on our pond, and the luxury of getting away to a quiet, peaceful, private domain.
If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy one of the many wonderful restaurants in Virgin, Springdale, LaVerkin, or Hurricane. then escape from the bustling crowds back to your own kingdom.
The west side of Zion National Park, only two minutes by car, is one of the best-kept secrets and is home to some of Zion's most famous hikes, including the Subway, West Rim, and Hop Valley. Here you can also investigate ancient caves with Indian Petroglyphs or discover rare dinosaur tracks. The Park's main entrance in Springdale is only 18 minutes away where shuttles will take you to the many other hikes the Park has to offer, such as Angel's Landing, Weeping Rock, Sinewava, and Emerald Pools. You’ll find terrific shopping and dining in Springdale as well.
For many years we've opened our doors to travelers from all over the world and the telling tale is this: they come back again and again and refer us to their friends and family. Accommodations fill up quickly, so booking early in the season is suggested.

Reserve this wonderful cottage! Vickie was the most welcoming, attentive host who sincerely cares about her guests and property. After long hikes, we were delighted to return to our charming cottage for a peaceful rest. The hot tub was a great treat! We will be back!!

Very, very quiet place to stay. Very welcome after fighting the crowds thru Zion Nat’l Park all day. Every little detail was taken care of, everything absolutely lived up to expectations!

Wow what a wonderful place. My god im in good with the wife for the rest of my life. If you are looking for a place to stay outside Zion, this is it. So incredibly close to the back entrance to the park and a spectacular mesa road. The host is a wonderful person. The cabin is awesome with a hot tub. Hummingbirds and squirrels. The birds never stop chipping. Flowers everywhere. So peaceful. 35 years of marriage and the wife turned to me, smiled, and said "you did good ... really good". We love this place!!

Vickie was a great host who gave us great suggestions on the area. It was so nice staying just minutes from the west side of Zion National Park. The hot tub was perfect for clear and chilly nights and then to cap off the night by the indoor fireplace. Couldn’t recommend this cottage more!

We loved our stay here! Everything was perfect from the gorgeous scenery to the immaculate accommodations. Our host Vickie was so nice and very welcoming! I’d highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a quiet romantic getaway to Zion National Park! Hope to come back again in the future!

First Vickie, the host, was awesome. She was ontop of everything, from our first contact to making sure we were all settled in and knew all about the property. The cottage was as enchanting as the pictures and just as pristine. We give this place a 5 star plus rating and will most definitely be coming back.

This was the second stay here for my husband and me. We chose this place again due to our wonderful experience the first time. This second visit did not disappoint! Our hosts were again helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is lovely and has everything one could possibly need on a vacation. One of favorite things about this cottage is the location. The surrounding natural beauty is spectacular, comparable to Zion National Park. The location is also perfect for visiting Zion and Kolob Canyon parks.

A beautiful oasis
Our stay could not have been more comfortable. The patio was quiet and shaded. The perfect way to end a day of hiking at Zion.

Best stay in Zion
Amazing property! We have stayed in Zion many times and this was absolutely the best. Great location, quiet, secluded, and romantic.
The Host’s are fantastic. Everything is thought of for your stay.

Great Stay for a Romantic Trip
My boyfriend and I stayed at the cottage March 17-20, the property is gorgeous and the cottage is comfy and cozy! Vickie was so lovely and gave us directions for some places in Zion to check out and advice on our travels.

Outstanding
Sunset Canyon Ranch didn’t disappoint, from check in to check out everything was a 5 star experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical stay while visiting Zion.

An Absolute Dream Honeymoon
This property sits inside of a canyon about 20 mins from the main national park entrance. It contains everything you could want for a quiet and adventurous get away trip. We went for our honeymoon and wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts Vicki and Hank were friendly, great communicators, and went above and beyond to make the stay great! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Perfect Anniversary getaway
We loved our time here! Vickie and Hank were so kind and amazing hosts. The scenery is breath taking. The ranch is so beautiful and a perfect place to rest and unwind after a day of hiking in Zion! We loved every minute of our trip!
