It’s Five O’clock Somewhere is a well maintained lakefront home located in the Lakeside Estates community close to the well known Cedar Creek Jumping Bridge. It is in a protected, no wake cove on beautiful Norris Lake. This 4 ½ story, 4000 square-foot home provides 9 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms and sleeps 22 (up to 18 adults). There is ample indoor and outdoor seating for meals and gatherings.
- Two-story covered dock with a slide which can accommodate up to 3 boats, 1 covered. Dock is not available from late fall to early spring due to water levels lowered by TVA for flood control.
- Three large 30 foot outdoor decks,
- Indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit.
- 6 person hot tub.
- Gas grill and griddle for big group cooking.
MAIN LEVEL
-Full kitchen with a pantry that is completely stocked for family cooking and eating.
-Granite dining table seats 12-14 with additional counter seating.
-The family room has a vaulted ceiling with two-story windows, stone fireplace with gas logs, three couches and a 55 inch Smart TV and surround sound.
-King bedroom with another Smart TV on this level and one full bathroom.
UPSTAIRS
The upper level has:
-Two King bedrooms, each room has a private sink and vanity. -Jack and Jill Full bath/shower and toilet.
-Top level crow’s nest has two Twin beds and a half bath.
LOWER LEVELS
The lower level includes:
-Spacious gathering area with a 55 inch Smart TV.
-Pool table/ping-pong table and dart board.
-Kitchenette with 2nd full refrigerator, 2nd microwave, and commercial ice maker.
-King bedroom & Bedroom with two Full size beds
-Full bathroom.
The Lowest walk-out level includes:
-Sitting area and 55 inch Smart TV.
-Two Queen bedrooms.
-Two full bathrooms.
-Bunk room (two Twins over Fulls).
-Washer and Dryer.
All levels have gorgeous lake views.
The private dock provides all day fun and easy access to your own boats. It is close to the Jumping Bridge and Sugar Hollow Marina. It provides a water paradise in the summer but is also a wonderful retreat year-round. The autumn leaves are colorful, and it is a cozy gathering place for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Also a great location for hiking and ATV trails during fall and winter.

We loved this house. I am gonna be straight forward though- there are a lot of steps… a lot of steps. But- it’s the price you pay for being on the water. It was well worth it- just make sure you have what you need when you go to the dock the first time. The house was cozy, clean and perfect for what we wanted. We are going to go back next year for sure! My brother and dad brought their boats and we took our kayaks and paddleboards. We had the best time and the best weather. We had 16 of us and had plenty of room. Parking was a bit difficult but thankful for the overflow parking. Definitely recommend this house. Great stay, great family weekend!

The house was perfect for our family! We have 4 families. Each family had their own floor, bathroom and space.The A/C was great even on the very top floor. Beds were comfortable with a perfect set up, several king sizes beds. Too many places have only 1 or 2 king size beds. Most adults especially younger couples are used to king size beds. So that definitely was a plus for our family. The only thing that was a slight problem was the road into the house is steep and the parking is tight. But we managed to get 4 full size cars parked in front of the house.The grandkids age 5-18 had a blast down at the dock. Jumping off the top deck, going down the slide, and fishing off the deck. The area is reasonably quiet from boats and swimming activities. So really enjoyed just sitting out there on the very comfortable chairs provided.My husband said his only negative for the whole week was not having a Kerig coffee machine. There are lots of spices and kitchen cooking supplies. Two grills which were great to have. Do bring dishwasher, clothes, and body soap and shampoo. Also paper towels and toilet paper if you’re staying more than 2 days.We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina. That added a lot of fun to the week. We boated over to the Shanghai restaurant one night and had a delicious meal and beautiful ride back.

We are thrilled you and your family found our home perfect for your vacation. Thanks for the recommendation about the Keurig we plan to purchase one. Parking at lake front properties can be challenging. Diagonal parking at our house can accommodate up to 6 vehicles. There also is an overflow parking lot for additional vehicles. Would love to host your family again next year!

Communication was fantastic, the house was amazing and the owners were accommodating! Very clean and all supplies, linens were very much appreciated!

Great Location!!
Great property with many bedrooms, spacious kitchen, entertainment options and a swimming cove without a ton of high speed boat traffic. Convenient for days out on Norris Lake in the boat and relaxing evening swimming and floating at the dock.

Excellent house with everything you need. Plenty of room and exceptionally clean. This a great property and we will be back. Owners did the little things that make the place stand out above the rest. You will not be disappointed with this house. Excellent location on the lake, quiet cove, quick access to grocery stores and the marina.

Family vacation
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything was just as listed. The only part that was challenging was the parking, It's very tight and close to a cement retaining wall. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dishes were in good condition. In the past we brought our own dishws due to poor cookware so we appreciated that. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place for a get away.
House was great. We had a party of 15 and still plenty of space. Right on the water and scenic views. Would stay again. Lots of steps inside and outside so be prepared.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at It's Five O'clock Somewhere! The private cove and beautiful scenic view is why we purchased this home. Given the terrain that surrounds Norris Lake, many steps to the lake are the norm. Fortunately, our home has fewer steps than many rental properties. We hope you consider returning in 2020!

Family vacay at Norris
Our 1st time at Norris was perfect! This beautiful lake house had everything we needed for our large family! The quiet cove was the perfect spot to swim and float without much boat traffic and the slide was definitely a favorite! We definitely plan on coming back and creating more

Our stay was enjoyable for all of us
Renting experience was seamless however a smoke alarm kept going off on Saturday afternoon, which is an early departure, as the alarm wouldn’t silence itself, causing us to leave early

House was clean and the cove was great for swimming.
Everything went well. We dodged the thunderstorms. The lake was warm. Everyone had a great time.

Labor Day Lake Trip
The house and property were clean and ready as expected. We have been here 2 times and always enjoy the amenities and location. The owners are super helpful and great at communicating. We will be back.

Dad’s 90th
From the time we walked in we relaxed. Everything was clean. We had enough room to spread out and just enjoy being together. When you live in Florida you forget how beautiful Tennessee is. There are a lot of stairs but even my 90 year old dad made it down to the lake. We are talking about doing it again next year.

Plenty of room for 4 families. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable, pillows could have been better so bring your own. The dock was great, very clean with trek decking so no splinters! There are 80 steps from the dock to the kitchen so not a house for the unfit. No boat traffic in this dead end cove which is nice, but also a little noisy due to 10 docks full of families in one place.

We live in Columbus, Ohio and have been vacationing at Norris Lake for years. It’s always been a dream of ours to own a home on Norris Lake. We finally found the perfect one! We love to share our home with others so they can make memories like we have over the years!

We chose this home because of the location in Lakeside Estates and it's easy access from I75. We are only 3.5 miles off of route 63. It’s in a protected cove in a no wake zone. You can swim safely without worrying about boat traffic.

Our home accommodates multiple groups. It’s spacious floorplan allows several get away or group entertainment areas. The private dock provides all day fun and easy access to your own boats. It is close to the Jumping Bridge and Sugar Hollow dock. It provides a water paradise in the summer but it is also a wonderful retreat year-round. The autumn leaves are colorful and it is a cozy gathering place for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The gated community of Lakeside Estates offers it's own Boat launch ramp as well.
