Stellar, Mountainside at Northstar's newest neighborhood is situated mid-mountain just below the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. This mountain modern residence is set along Northstar's Home Run ski run, offering an unbeatable location and incomparable views. The home is influenced by contemporary European mountain living and provides slope side access to ski runs and hiking trails. The fresh, progressive design offers seamless indoor/outdoor living with floor to ceiling windows, massive sliding doors, large exterior living spaces, and a private hot tub and fire pit. The thoughtfully designed floor plan features a two-story, open layout with two primary suites, two guest bedrooms, and a massive media room with custom built-in sleeping spaces for six. Only a short shuttle or walk (walk only suggested during summer) to the Ritz-Carlton where you can enjoy an evening drink, a day at the spa, or fine dining in one of the many Ritz-Carlton restaurants. From the Ritz-Carlton, you can take a gondola ride to the vibrant Village at Northstar where there are shops, restaurants, skating rink, and often après live music.

Guests enjoy access to the private homeowner's amenities located at the Tree House, which includes a community gathering place complete with an outdoor saline pool, hot tub, fitness facility, lounge, game room, and outdoor summer sport court. A truly one-of-a-kind mountain experience awaits at Stellar!

- The maximum occupancy of this residence is limited to 10 adults plus 4 children under the age of 12. Groups that exceed the maximum occupancy limit will not be accepted.
- The maximum number of cars allowed are 2 in the driveway plus 2 in the garage. Parking on the street is not permitted.
- Please note that this is a ski-in/ski-out residence only when weather permits. We do not offer discounts/refunds for lack of snow.
- This residence has a radiant cooling system and does NOT have forced air A/C.
- Please note that check-in time for arrivals on December 26 - January 3 and February 13 - 20 is 5:00pm.

- No pets

The check-in process was super easy! The property was perfect for our family - we went in the summer and the views from the property were amazing. The recreation area including the pool were sensational and the house itself was gorgeous, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely consider coming back!

This Mountainside property was exactly what it looked like in the listing. It was clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of "starter products" like soap, laundry detergent, etc. Staying in July, I was nervous about the radiant cooling, but there was no need to be. The use of the fans assisted in keeping the space at a comfortable temperature. Great beds and very spacious! Access to the Tree House was perfect too! Communication from the host before and during our stay was responsive. We would book again.

Gorgeous slopeside home!

We loved this home- perfect summer or winter! Gorgeous views and great location. We used the clubhouse and hot tub and enjoyed hiking right from the door.

Hot tub was great. Second snow shovel would be helpful. No path to mud room without having to go through house. Shuttle service and drivers were fantastic and very accessible. Spa cleaning guy turned off spa the day before we were to leave. Beautiful home and great venue to create lasting memories.

Amazing house!

The house is in a great location and it’s beautiful! Brooke, the property manager, helped us with everything and was there for us whenever we had a question. Everything was perfect for our ski trip, we’ll definitely return soon to this house!

Gorgeous house

Beautiful house; everything in working order. The advertised shuttle to the Ritz doesn’t start until next month and there wasn’t info on how “ski in” would actually work, but since there wasn’t enough snow to ski out either that wasn’t a big deal. FYI the Ritz service people were super hostile; made a point of how little they appreciate neighbors coming up there who aren’t staying at the hotel.

4 memorable days at Tahoe/ Truckee

The "cabin" was amazing. Its location was spot on for our event at the Ritz and for various activities during our stay. The kids loved the hot tub and the media room - we could not seem to get them away. Personally the early morning views off the cabin were the best! The clubhouse added the cool factor. Loved the pool, gym and bocce ball. The cabin was well equipped with all the required amenities. Could not have asked for anything more. We all had a great time and came away with some great memories. Thank you very much for having us!

Tahoe - Northstar - Summer visit

Overall we were pleased with the property. It’s a relatively new home perched on a mountainside very close to the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar. Very comfortable, cozy home with huge windows on the main level ( great room and Master bedroom ) facing a gorgeous view down into the valley towards Truckee. The home was very well appointed - full kitchen with everything you’d need plus comfortable beds, bathrooms, etc. The house is steps from a community amenity - the Treehouse - that I believe they undersell in the listing. The Treehouse is a clubhouse for the Mountainside community- it has a large lounge, game room, workout facility, a heated pool and hot tub. Huge plus. Overall the location was convenient for what we wanted to do - which was to have a quiet spot with great views within driving distance of activities. The house is about 15 minutes by car to both Truckee and Kings Beach. South Lake Tahoe was an hours drive. The one important caveat I would give to prospective renters is that the home has radiant heat and cooling. I have no doubt this system works extremely well in the winter time. For cooling - it’s not so great. We only had two or three hot days at the end of our visit but we couldn’t keep the ambient temperature upstairs from reaching the high 70s by mid to late afternoon. Hate to say it but I would probably shy away from this property in the dead of Summer. Otherwise, i would recommend the property highly.

We will add some verbiage about the Treehouse being so close to the home. We agree that is currently a bit understated and as perk! We also appreciate the feedback on the radiant cooling system. During those hottest days of summer it is not quite at the same operationally as your typical forced air cooling so we will add some verbiage to the listing to better represent that! We have also added some more instructions in the home on how to use the cooling system to make sure it is working efficiently! You are correct, this type of system is optimal for heating in the winter. :) It was a pleasure hosting you!

Great Location

We had a great stay over Thanksgiving. We had a few issues, all very minor, and it was easy to get in touch with property management. You can't beat the location.

Beautiful house, great amenities, wondeful setting

The house was fantastic. Beautiful sunset views every night, good kitchen, nice tech setup. The Treehouse gym/pool just 100 yards away was a huge hit. The Playacre area a short walk away was great for kids, and it's a 15 minute walk to the Ritz to take the gondola down to the Village. Some small details (arcade system had buttons broken) were off, but on the whole the experience was great.

Outstanding Property

We have stayed at numerous properties at Northstar for the last 15+ summers. This is a new favorite! Beautiful, well appointed home with a spectacular view. Master suite shares the same amazing view and is alone on the top floor. Downstairs three additional bedrooms and a huge “bunk room” that doubles as a family room for the teens. Within walking distance is the private clubhouse with pool, pool table, work out room and lots of quiet space. Short 8 minute drive to the village and amenities. Kitchen was well outfitted for a big group. Only a handful of residences on the street makes it extremely quiet. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking

Location and views!!! The architecture!! All of it was amazing! My whole family was comfortable and we loved the fireplace and hot tub . We would stay here again, even thinking about buying a similar home in the area because it’s so perfect!

Best Family Girls Trip

From start to finish the process was great. Lauren answer any questions and help with any little hiccups. Very clean well kept home in a great location with all the amenities. We will definitely come back to stay again. Love it.
