Conveniently located in the Iron Horse South building in the heart of the Village at Northstar, this beautifully decorated, 2nd floor luxury two bedroom residence has an inviting open floor plan. The residence features a gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and an outdoor patio from which to enjoy the mountain views. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence has a King suite master bedroom, and a King bed in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms also have a Twin trundle bed tucked under each King bed, making this a great residence for either 2 couples or a family!

Shared outdoor hot tubs and fitness center are located on the ground level of the Iron Horse South Lodge. Guests may also enjoy use of the Village Swim and Fitness Center, which includes a year-round saline pool, hot tub, large fitness facility, locker rooms with steam showers, and a game and lounge area. This residence includes one underground parking space in the heated parking garage with elevator access. Whether you choose to hike, mountain bike, golf, ski, or skate, you will find everything you need only steps away from your front door.

Overall, the condo was well-appointed and as described. However, 1 of 2 air conditioners was not functioning properly, even after maintenance took a look. There was a stand alone swamp cooler to compensate but it was not enough and the 2nd bedroom was very hot at night.

Awesome location

Great location and enough space to spread out. I imagine in the winter this is a perfect place to stay. Even in the summer, the lake is close and having restaurants on site is awesome. The unit is very nicely furnished with super comfortable beds.

Lovely condo, in a nearly perfect location for the EWS Race last weekend. Everything was as advertised and we would rent again.

Wonderful Place

First time to North Star, and so glad we ended up where we did. The location to the pool, game room, and everything else, couldn’t be better. The place was incredibly clean, and has all the items you need for cooking, and then more!

Perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is clean and equipped with everything we need. It’s really like a home away from home. We will come back again

Would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for 2 things that went wrong: 1) check in - we arrived at 7:40pm which is considered after hours. The instructions were clear to get the keys and pass from the locker; was easy. However the keys did not work. I called the emergency line and they said they would get back to me. 15 mins later I hadn’t heard and called them. They guided me how to get the master key but disappointed I had to call them again. 2) it was high 80’s during our visit and the AC did not work in the 2nd bedroom and living room. When I asked about it they confirmed it didn’t work. They should have disclosed this! They did provide an air evaporator the next day which helped a little bit but it was loud and had to continuous put ice and water in it. Pros: location is great, place is great, great amenities, kitchen appliances galore! While things didn’t go smooth for our visit the rental company did apologize and tried to make it right

Pampered Retreat

We were looking for a short get away with our daughters and grandson. The condo is beautiful but also family friendly. The proximity to beaches and Truckee was perfect. So many thoughtful additions that made our stay even more relaxing and special. Quick answers to our questions during the reservation process. Thank you!

Beautiful Accommodation

The place is beautiful, location is perfect for any time of the year. Kitchen is well stacked and we had everything we needed for our 9 days stay. My only complaints are that the breaker in the master bathroom kept turning off everyday, we had to go and mess with the breaker box and it was and inconvenience, the other issue is that I don’t know who was in charge of hanging the TV in the master bedroom but oh boy they did such a bad job. The master bedroom has a bed with a frame all around the bed and where the tv was placed the frame is right in the middle of the tv, so prepare to see tv with a metal frame in the middle, other then that, the place was great.

Family gathering

Had extended family in two condos; enjoyed the experience. Nice pool and spa and places to dine are close by. Kings Beach is about a 15 minute drive

Great choice

Booking options were limited for us - this must have been a cancellation as it was awesome! Good location, clean and beautiful. Would stay again —- this would be awesome in winter.

Beautiful Northstar Condo- 2 bdrm

Very nicely appointed 2 bd 2 ba condo. comfy and quiet unit. Great cooking/kitchen things, coffee machine. Bring your own condiments & seasonings. Really enjoyed the unit. Very warm/inviting feeling.

Perfect Getaway

The apartment was amazing! Everything was very clean and put together well. We were all impressed with how much though was put into making it as welcoming as possible. From the board games and apple tv to the complimentary gift. We quickly felt at home. Looking forward to staying again.

5 Star Weekend - This place is "over the top"

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son, grandson and others rented the unit due to the proximity to Northstar.........they are all mountain bike riders. They said the place was "over the top".....beautiful and had more than what they needed. They had a late arrival on Friday night and a late departure on Sunday morning with no problems. I'm sure they'll be back.

The perfect place to call home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an amazing stay! This place has it ALL. Literally, it was the most well stocked and prepped rental we have ever stayed in. I love the location in the heart of the village with convenient underground parking and the fitness center and pool just across the way. This was the perfect place for our two couples and little ones (trundle beds were a great touch). We will definitely be back!

Northstar Village Condo/Iron Horse South

Beautiful place. Kitchen and amenities were perfect. Spotless when we arrived and lighting was great. Even though the deck was under construction, we had a nice view and it was super easy to get in and out of the building. Loved our stay and we hope to come back! Local Northstar Village activities and pool/gym were easy to reach and walk to as well.

Quick getaway!

This was a perfect spot for us. We were entertaining our 22 year old granddaughter and the accommodations were perfect and a great central location for all the Tahoe area has to offer.

Great Condo!

Loved our stay here. The condo was clean, nicely furnished, and the check in process was easy. Plus the location in the Village was super convenient. I'll definitely stay here for our future visits to Northstar.
