Location, Location, Location. Our home is located in the heart of Charleston’s Historic District on a small walking street. We are one and half blocks from King and Market streets. Walking distance to everything Charleston has to offer; restaurants, The Market, numerous parks, shopping, theaters and a major super market. Park your car on the driveway and forget about it- you will not need it.
Upstairs our home has two master suites with private bathrooms including a Jacuzzi tubs in each one. The master bedroom has a mahogany 18th century Rice Bed with a vaulted beam ceiling. The second bedroom has a queen poster bed. Both bedrooms have large windows to allow natural sunlight, a sitting chair, desk or make up table and wide screen TVs. Linens and towels are of the highest quality to provide you with a luxury experience. There is a washer and dryer off the hall way.
The kitchen is fully stocked and offers small appliances, cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses, flatware and crystal glasses. This state of the art kitchen allows one to cook a meal as if you were in your own home. Also there is a ½ bath on the first floor.
Enjoy eating in the quaint dining room with mahogany French doors that open to a small garden.
The living room has a gas fireplace, comfortable seating for reading or watching your favorite programs on a wide screen TV. A small writing desk is available to use your laptop computer and the internet.
French doors open from the living room open to an enclosed private patio where you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or a full meal. A gas grill is located on the patio.

Southern charm indeed!

Had the pleasure of staying at 17 West the entire month of June and couldn’t have been happier about it. I was in a bind as my remodel was taken longer than expected (shocker, I know), Jeffrey took a load off my shoulders by opening up the rental to me. Location is perfect, the home is beautifully decorated, quiet with all necessities, including an enchanting sitting area outback. The owner was easy to communicate with and as kind as one can be. I highly recommend this place if you’re lucky enough to snag it!

Charleston - wonderful

This house is beautiful and comfortable. The beds and linens are very nice. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked - nice appliances and showers. The best feature is Jeffrey. He is definitely the best host and made everything super easy.

Location, location, location

This is a wonderful property. Clean, functional, and comfortable. We chose not to rent a car and most ventures were walking distance. Our host was responsive to questions. Thank you Charleston for a great vacation.

One of the nest intown properties we have rented!

Beautiful house, very comfortable bed, quiet, walkable to everything, lovely private patio. Would be great for 2 couples. Highly recommend! Also great French wine bar around the corner!

Great location

First time to Charleston and the location was central to everything. Perfect size for a couple and well appointed. We ate out mot of the time but the kitchen had all we needed for meals in as well. Recommend.

Nice place in Charleston to stay. Short walk to King Street, Market Street and East Bay Street. Lots of great places to eat just a few minutes walk away.

Perfect Location, Charleston Charm

This charming house on a quiet street is walking distance from all the top sites in Charleston. Antique furnishings and beautiful wooden floors help transport you back in time on your visit to this historic city. The walled courtyard is delightful - but don't forget your bug spray. We had instant confirmation and check in/out was a breeze. The only issue we had was a burned out porch light and it was fixed the next day.

Charming house, great location

Visited Charleston with my sister and 2 other friends. The house was perfect for our needs -- well equipped kitchen, great set up in the bedroom area - with two full baths and a washer and dryer. The location is fantastic - so close to the historic district. Charming home.

Charming and convenient.

A great place for 2 couples.. We had separate suites. The house was bright, clean, and convenient to everything we did in Charleston. It is a quiet neighborhood. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This " beautiful row house" is beyond charming.

This charming home away from home what just that to us. Attention to detail through out the home made it a pleasure to stay in. Every thing is new and fresh and we experience the beauty of a decorators eye in each room. We even loved the linens and the beds are comfortable. The location in Historical Old town is perfect and allowed us to walk to almost every outing. The owner was attentive through out the time and answered emails quickly addressing our question even stopping buy to change a battery in the fire alarm and give us some great dinner idea. If you get a chance to stay in this 'Beautiful Beyond Charming" row house your Charleston experience will have a home away from home. Claire

Exceeded our expectations!

Thank you for a lovely place to stay! It was all that we hoped for and more! Thank you for your attention to every detail. The beds were comfortable. Everything was so clean and well-kept. The kitchen had everything you would need to feel right at home. We cooked. We made smoothies. From china to great All-Clad pots and pans, I couldn't believe you had it all for us to use. Having breakfast in the courtyard was a great way to start the day. It was a great place to come home to relax and enjoy the evening after walking all day. My sons, daughter-in-law, and I were blessed to be able to stay here. Great location. Jeff was so gracious to answer any call I had and recommend places to eat. A beautiful, charming, and cozy place to stay with all the accommodations needed to have a great stay!

Great House & Location

We’ve stayed in several houses in the historic district and this is one of our favorites! Very close to mid/lower King & a couple of blocks from College of Charleston. Great location, comfy beds, and parking for one car in front of house. Hope to return!

Exceptional rental!!!

The house is absolutely beautiful with many small added details that make your stay even nicer. There is a small secluded courtyard out back to have a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen is nicely stocked if you want to eat in. We made breakfast every morning and ate on the patio. It is located within walking distance of almost everything you could possibly want to do in downtown Charleston. I would highly recommend this property.

Single House Gem

After a month here , I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is adorable , and the owners are extremely attentive and helpful. Really couldn't have been nicer. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere.Shopping, food, bars , it's all right here. Each of the 2 bedrooms have their own bath. And it has a walled in patio. very private. The property is beautiful inside and has a very nice courtyard.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It close to King Street and great location for walking all over town. We were pleasantly surprised with the property. It's very comfortable for 4 people and beautifully decorated. We normally stay on King St., when we come to town, but found this property and were able to book it.. I would definitely recommend staying here. There is parking for 1 vehicle in front of the house, but there are street parking permits and a parking garage close by. Definitely a hidden gem.

Charming home

We visit Charleston every year and usually stay in a hotel but decided to rent a house this trip...great decision. This home is beautiful, walking distance for the Market & restaurants and a very quiet neighborhood. The beds are comfortable, each bedroom has a private bath, the kitchen has new appliances, there’s a small washer and dryer, one parking space (but a parking garage close by), tv’s in every room, outdoor seating and newly renovated bathrooms. I recommend bringing washing detergent as there is only 1 towel per person. I definitely would rent again.

PERFECT!

We have stayed in a couple different great VRBOs in Charleston over the years and in many VRBOs across the US (and Europe) ...this was by far our favorite to date!!!! We can't say enough about the property: PERFECT location (walk EVERYwhere), most comfortable beds (and we are super picky), So clean!, beautiful (pictures do not do this home justice).... by midweek we were wishing we could buy this house! We were especially excited to realize that we were SO close to our favorite bfst spot Queen Street Grocery! The patio is so wonderful for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kitchen is well equipped and high quality appliances! Love the beautiful selection of crystal glass wear that made our late afternoon happy hours all the more fun. Huge closets made it nice to "move in" for the week and feel at home. I Was concerned about this property not providing bikes but that' wasn't as issue because there are so many locations nearby with "holy Spokes" bike rental (get the app on your phone). My teenage daughter and I enjoyed buying bath bombs at Lush on King street and then enjoying the deep, jet tubs in our bathrooms for relaxing baths ( a treat we don't get at home). The owner was so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. For anyone reading this review- we are very particular about the places we stay (almost snobby haha) and so take our word for it...this place is PERFECT! We will definitely be back! (And Jeff- let us know if you ever want to sell! ;) )

"Charming" doesn't do the Property Justice!!

When visiting Charleston this is how your accommodations SHOULD look!! Virtually every aspect of the house exceeded my expectations!! My wife and I were traveling with a couple that we haven't seen in some time and this is a great place to play "catch-up." The house is close enough to walk to restaurants and activities--yet also provided a GREAT air-conditioned retreat for our more intimate chats. I didn't hear a single complaint all weekend. Now can you do anything about the July Heat and Humidity? Thank You Jeffery!

Best house ever !

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Jeffrey's house any better ! The house is so pretty, very clean, beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you need, plus great beds and wonderful bedding. And if that isn't enough, the location can't be beat - so close to everything you want to do and see. We loved our visit in Charleston, and hope to be back soon !
