The Ranch Cabin @ Whiskey Mountain Great Location!

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 4 –  This cabin offers a one queen size bed, two twin beds, full kitchen, bath, heat and air, picnic table, and BBQ grill.
This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector.  You must BRING your ownTowels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen & 2 Twins).
Free Wi-Fi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.
Satellite T.V.
  This cabin does NOT include the following:
Trash bags, zip lock bags, & Paper Products-*** but we do supply you with ONE of the following to get you started: toilet paper, paper towel roll, trash bag, coffee, & sugar.

The host was attentive and made check in and our stay very smooth and comfortable. We enjoyed our getaway weekend with our furry friend without any issues. Easy access to any water activity and great coffee shop nearby. Great place to stay if you are in Leaky.

The Ranch Whiskey Mountain cabin was great. Though weather worn, the cabin has wonderful charm and is a great location for visiting Garner State Park (quick side note: you do need to bring your own bed linens and bath towels). The morning sunrise is beautiful to watch on the front porch as the light reaches over the horizon.The Whiskey Mountain hosts are very responsive to communication and ready to help or answer questions. Overall 5/5 would recommend!

Cabin was clean and tidy. Air conditioning was adequate. Kitchen was clean and we did some grilling outside and some cooking inside. There aren’t any mixing bowls available so we had to make do with 2 small cereal bowls. We had an issue with ants all over one of the (unused) beds but the hosts quickly arrived as soon as we messaged them to see what they could do the mitigate the problem. Along that line, we did have to throw out some of the boxed food we brought when we left because the ants made their way into the boxes where they were being stored. One thing we do have to note is, this property is extremely close to a heavily used road so the road noise level was pretty high for the duration of our stay. If you visit during peak season, this may cause an issue for some.

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
