The Cozy Cabin @ Whiskey Mountain Great Location!

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 2 – This cabin offers a queen size bed, shower, T.V., kitchen, heat & air, picnic table, BBQ grill, and 2 rocking chairs on a covered front porch.
This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a small refrigerator, Plug in 2 burner stove, countertop oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector. You must BRING your own Towels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen).
Free Wifi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.
Satellite T.V.
This cabin does NOT include the following:
Trash bags, zip-lock bags, & paper products-*** but we do supply you with ONE of the following to get you started: toilet paper, paper towel roll, trash bag, coffee, & sugar.
Sheets & Towels – You must BRING your own Towels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen).

Very clean and cozy place to stay. If you want to spend a weekend in Leaky, Uvalde area, this spot is a great option. 5 minutes to Leaky town (grocery and some local restaurants), 15 minutes to GSP. The host is very friendly. She let us early check in and provided all the instructions we need in for the stay. The checkout process is super straightforward as well.

Very nice little cabin! Great price and definitely will be staying again. Watching the hummingbirds on the porch while drinking my morning coffee was a great start to the day!

Perfect for a peaceful getaway

The cabin was clean and cute! I really liked how close to Garner State Park it was, allowed for more privacy and a more calm setting for relaxing while still being able to spend the day outside!

Well we didn't expect the cabin to be next to the road with all the noise, and we encountered a scorpion in the bathroom sink when we first got there, but over all we had a great time.

Clean private

Need larger tv in cozy cabin . Need better entry signs ,drove by it both ways ,very easy to miss and this is my third time here .Maybe paint cactus at entry a bright green or orange

Good tome was had! Lomg overdue trip to Garner State Park

Very clean, had all we needed. Only thing as I enjoying cooking (yes, even in during vacations, 2 burner cook top not very user friendly. But we grilled and had plenty of lefyovers for 2 days and bacon and egg breakfast easy enough

Needs upgrade and improvements

Pros. ——— Good location. Easy to find. Good WiFi speed. Owner is well responsive. Cons ———- This cabin needs lots of repair inside for example.. appliances are pretty old. AC cover needs to fixed. Bathroom sink faucet needs to be repaired or replaced. Not enough hot water for two to take bath. No shampoo or soap provided and was also not clearly informed to bring it along.

A trip to Whiskey Mountain

Pleasant experience

I visited Leakey for a family event and just needed a nearby place to sleep. I wasn’t doing anything touristy. The bed and room were comfortable, I especially liked that prior to my arrival the AC was turned on and the room was cool and comfortable.

Sweet little cabin, adorable!

Enjoyed a weekend getaway at Garner State park and this cabin was in a perfect location. the porch, outdoor fire pit, grill, and picnic table were so cute. we loved getting to enjoy the outdoors here. if you are planning on cooking your own meals I would recommend bringing your own camp stove, the indoor appliances aren't the best but can get the job done.

Cozy cabin

Perfect for my Wife and I. Used all of kitchen and it accommodated us. AC kept us cool all weekend. The “wee store” next door had anything we needed or forgot from home. It is also close to everything but far enough away from all of the crowded spots. Will definitely be booking again for future trips.

Frio River Vacation

The Cozy cabin was perfect for my wife and I. It was so quiet and peaceful and so close to the Frio River and the town of Leakey. We will definitely be staying at the Whiskey Mountain Inn on our next trip down there.

Fabulous

I was very nervous about booking this location but it was in great proximity to the HEB Foundation Camp. Although I did drive past it a couple of times, we found it and now realize how easy it really was to get to. It smelled WONDERFUL when we walked in and is obviously a very well-kept and cared for property. It was cozy and perfect!

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.
