Historic UpTown Sedona - 3 BR 2 BTH Bohemian Style - Quiet Retreat-2 Min Walk

This Sedona Retreat is a 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home within a 2 minute walk- (0.1 Mile from City Center) distance to the Historic UpTown shopping district, great restaurants (Cowboy Club and Pink Jeeps) and shops and just blocks away from several of Sedona's beautiful hiking trails. Oak Creek Canyon is just up the road, and you are exactly 2 hours from the Grand Canyon. The back yard is fenced and contains BarBQ, outdoor seating, a gorgeous Buddha (fountain has been filled in) , and beautiful views of Sedona's Red Rocks. Enjoy a family Bar-B-Q or just a cup of coffee on the patio, and if you happen to be here in Summer, you can eat peaches off the tree in the back yard.

The home is literally a 2-3 minute walk from the downtown UPTown area, and the same to the Sedona Heritage Museum (and a short drive to the spiritual "underground", the Flower of Life Store (181 State Route 179, #4)) Plus! there is the benefit of a safe and quiet neighborhood. We have large, very old trees surrounding the home which provide wonderful shade and an ancient energy. Many travelers that have stayed in this home love the bohemian feel...

We are a shoes' off house and request and expect occupants to take their shoes off at the door. The master bedroom has two queen sized beds and a private bath. The side bedrooms are smaller as is inherent in older homes, with queen sized beds in each and a shared bathroom. Washer/Dryer are available. Lots of parking. A Computer and Desk for your convenience..

Uptown Events throughout the year include the St. Paddy's Day Parade, National Day of the CowBoy, and Safe Halloween Celebrations. Events in Sedona proper include the Illuminate Film Festival,

Sedona in the Snow

We had a wonderful time in Sedona even thought it snowed. The house was lovely - all that it shows on the website. Dani and Diane were really easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. We would stay there again and even take another Pink Jeep Tour when the weather was a little more cooperative.

Sweet Uptown spot

This was the perfect property for us - great uptown location, lots of light and room, ensuite bathroom and interesting decor and a great view of some of Sedona’s rock formations from multiple windows. We loved eating our meal with a view!

My adult daughter chose this place from the pictures and we were not disappointed! The house is eclectic and matches the vibe of the town. We walked to downtown area to shop and eat several times. Everything was clean and fun- we really enjoyed our stay there!

I booked this property almost a year ahead of the trip as I do tend to be a planner. The weekend before we are to head up, I still hadn't heard anything from the owners so I sent a message asking for directions and the check in process info. The reply was exceedingly brief - "we will be in touch with you before your stay". It would have been nice to get a nicer response and one that would have said something like "we prefer to send the check in information right before the day of arrival, but here is the address". The neighborhood is wonderful and beautiful! The house is ok. During our trip it rained a lot and was cold out (Sedona is still enjoyable). However, the house still has older windows so we spent a lot of time under blankets. The backyard is a good size but there are no cushions or covers for the furniture, which is primarily metal. Due to the weather we weren't able to spend much time outside anyway, but when we did we had to sit on our sweaters. The beds are quite comfortable and are all memory foam, which was very nice. The kitchen is a good size and the frig and freezer have plenty of space for everything you could think of. Overall, we had a good time, enjoyed the Sedona St Patrick's Day parade and some shopping and it is always nice to get away with your best friends, even if the weather isn't the best!

Ahhhhh

We fell in love with Sedona, but staying here in uptown made it perfect. We truly could walk to anything in downtown Sedona (coffee, dinner, breakfast, ice cream, shopping, etc.!). The home was easy to get to, very nicely laid out, and with a beautiful backyard.

Nice very clean property

My granddaughter who is 20, and I stayed at this property. The beds are very close to the ground and are very firm. We did not find them comfortable which made it hard for us to get a good night's sleep. also I had trouble with the TV upon arrival. I could not figure out how to get the cable on. I called and sent a text to property manager did not hear back. After much frustration I figured out it was an input issue. No ice maker, which for some is fine, but I drink a cold drink in the morning that I blend and an ice machine would have been welcomed. The home is very clean.

Stay in bohemian house

Overall the house was in a good location and acceptable. The beds were especially nice with the foam mattresses. But the house needs some work especially on the window coverings and a new shower curtain would’ve been nice.

great location

A group of friends spent a long weekend at this lovely home. It was close to shopping and restaurants and multiple tour companies in uptown Sedona. We loved the peace and quiet. The house had all the amenities we wanted.

Excellent location, clean and peaceful

The house was very clean and conveniently located. We were a family of 5: 2 adults, 2 teens, 1 tween. Plenty of room for everyone. It is a quick 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Walking was key because parking is insane in Sedona. We cooked a few meals at the house- kitchen is spacious and stocked with enough pots/pans/utensils. Loved the house decor and the backyard sculptures and landscaping.

Very Convenient

This property was very convenient to town. We are 4 old ladies who really like the house. The water pressure for showers was excellent. The only thing remotely down was the living room furniture were a bit hard for old people like our group. We enjoyed our walks to town and the local restaurants. Would absolutely stay there again.

The Boho feel of the home is derived from objects gathered during years of international travel. The views from the back yard are spectacular. You can see Snoopy Rock and Lucy as you have your morning coffee on the patio.
