This completely remodeled charming stand alone "RED CABIN" sits right on the fairway of Brockway Golf course in Tahoe Vista, CA (North Lake Tahoe). It has 2 bedrooms (king bedroom & a bunk bedroom -with a full & a twin bed), a Queen sofa bed in the living room, and one remodeled granite bath with large shower. Sleeps up to 6 people. The gorgeous views of the rolling green fairway and towering trees invite you to relax on the wrap around deck or unwind in front of the cozy river rock fireplace. This property is dog friendly ($50 pet fee).

Take a 5-minute stroll to the North Shore Safeway (Starbucks inside) for a coffee or groceries, 2 block walk to Sandy Beach (adjacent to a park with volleyball courts, picnic tables and BBQ's), 7 mile drive to Northstar Ski Resort, close to Diamond Peak and a 5 minute drive to casinos. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour at Spindleshank's Restaurant located at Brockway Golf Course - 5 minute walk. Lanza's Italian Restaurant (local favorite for pizza or pasta) is just a short walk farther, right next to Safeway.

In the winter, cross country ski or snowshoe right out the back door or take a short walk to go snowmobiling. In the summer, walk to the beach, golf course, hiking trails, biking trails and kayak/paddle board rentals. The unique advantage of this amazing location is that you never have to get in your car - a true getaway from city life with an authentic Tahoe feel and all the modern comforts you need!

The RED CABIN boasts original Tahoe pine walls, new wood floors throughout, huge picture windows overlooking the fairway, quaint river rock gas fireplace, large flat screen TV with DVD player, updated kitchen with new stainless appliances, washer/dryer, dining table with seating for six (4 chairs & a bench), remodeled granite bath with two sinks and oversize shower, all new furnishings, mattresses & linens, and a roomy master bedroom with a king bed and sliding door to back deck with views of the fairway. Recharging Getaway

This little gem is nestled in the perfect location & walking distance from the beach. Perfect size for a small family & pet. Everything was as listed & we had zero issues during our stay. We are happy to have found this cabin/home to recharge.

Excellent in every way.

We really loved the location and ability to walk to the beach when we knew we couldn't get a parking place. We even wheeled the kayaks there and it wasn't too far. The neighborhood was quiet even though there are many people living there.

Awesome Snowy Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Cabin during the massive 2021 Tahoe Snow Storm. House is in a perfect location to restaurants / grocery store / local activities, and was spacious and relaxing. We brought our dog with us who loved playing in the snow on the golf course directly behind us. Only one issue while we were there, the fireplace did not work - which would have made the snow-in more enjoyable. Last - the kitchen was lacking in items, needs more pots/pans/mixing bowls/kitchen tools, both easy fixes - would stay again!

Tahoe treat before moving

Before moving to Austin my daughter wanted a weekend in Tahoe and my son in law and I both enjoy golf so .....This place was perfect. She got the beach with the dog and a trip to Gar Woods, we got twilight golf twice and a fabulous lunch at Spindleshanks. We will be back. Can't believe I didn't know about this slice of paradise!

Little red cabin

Great little cabin in the Tahoe woods on a nine hole golf course. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Grocery and pharmacy only a couple of blocks. Very close to beach. Property managers really helpful-the best.

Cute Clean Red House in a Great Location

We had a lovely stay. The house exceeded expectations and we loved the walkability of the location. The outside may look small, but it seems spacious on the inside. We enjoyed having coffee or a glass of wine on the porch with the gorgeous view of the golf course. The TV was set up with several streaming services so it was easy to find entertainment for all ages. We brought our pup and had noticed before hand that there isn't a fenced in yard so we brought a tie so that she could go out and do her business without us needing to put on shoes and walk her. Only thing to note is that it takes a confident climber to reach the top bunk since there is no ladder. Great getaway all around!

Perfect location!

This sweet cabin in in the perfect location…on the 8th fairway of the Old Brockway golf course and just a short walk to Spindleshanks, Safeway, the beach, walking trails, and more! We loved that it was dog friendly, our pup enjoyed it as much as we did. Our suggestions for improvement were related to cleanliness- we provided that feedback to the property manager and they responded right away. Overall a great stay!

Spiders

Property is full of spiders and are everywhere. Sheets on Master bed had hair. No soap to do the laundry they requested we do before we left. Filthy behind the bed. Master bedroom light switch did not work. Back patio needed a thorough cleaning before you could use it. Location was outstanding, however we won't stay at this property again.

Great location and cute home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great rental property. The only things that were an issue, the property manager said they will fix right away. (More lighting in living room-it's like a dark cave at night; 2nd sink in bathroom doesn't work, dishwasher drawer had broken wheel) All very small suggestions! Overall, the location was perfect for walks and swimming at the beach. Along the golf course, so if you have a dog, they may bark a bit at golfers that come up to the house to retrieve balls. Property was very clean and furniture was nice and new. Comfortable bed. Only weird thing was that one of the heating vents was outside in the porch, so we had to crank the interior heat to get heat throughout the house, which just felt like a waste, since half of it was going right outside. :)

Little red cabin !

The little red cabin was perfect. Walking distance to King's beach, great spot on the golf course, and short drive to Northstar/ Truckee. The cabin clean, comfortable and easy to access.
