My family enjoyed the home very much. The home accomindated all our family. It was very clean. Host was great with communication. My family even got to see a bear. They enjoyed the property and went on some nice hikes in the area. Would stay again!!!

Great party room and hot tub! Plenty of nice outdoor spaces to go with a nicely decorated interior. We loved Big Canoe and our stay at the Buck Stop.

Excellent stay at Buck Stop!! Home is beautiful and just as advertised!! Very clean and has everything you need!! Beds are very comfortable! Host was amazing and provided all details needed for the trip without me having to ask! Definitely a place to come to back and visit!!

This three story house is a great choice for families traveling together. A little separation can be a good thing. The outdoor spaces are wonderful, with a screened in porch, outdoor porch with a grill, and a covered downstairs patio with a hot tub. The game room provides great entertainment, but the putting green was the star of the show for our group. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in with a group, with plenty of dishware, glasses, pans, and convenient small appliances. There are tv's in every bedroom. The owner/manager was great with communication and follow up. We loved our first trip to Big Canoe with all of its amenities and would recommend it and this house without hesitation.

The Buck Stop had everything we needed. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub, indoor pool at the wellness center, hiking the trails, and sitting around the fire pit. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bedrooms were a good size and we had plenty of room for 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 infants. We saw deer in the yard twice and saw a black bear while driving in the Big Canoe neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Fun stay for family of adults and teens. Game room kept everyone entertained. Hot tub was a treat after long hikes in the beautiful area.

This house is fantastic. We have never seen a more completely prepared and yet relaxing house - amazing! The layout of the house is great. The bedrooms are very comfortable and also separated so each part of the family can have some space. The versatile kitchen fits all cooking needs - we made big meals every morning and night for 8 days cook and never lacked for any item. We also came with both babies and dogs and appreciate the many little things items in place that helped make life easy, such as a baby gate at the foot of the stairs, a chest full of every board game EVER, a high chair and kid-friendly utensils, even a crate for our dogs if needed. The screened porch, together with the outside deck, were both comfortable and easily accessible. They are both off the ground, so give outside options without worry of bears and snakes. Beautiful setting, superior access to owners - always responses within seconds. Highly recommend this home

The host was very helpful and responded quickly to all questions or concerns I had. The house was very welcoming, comfortable and provided everything we needed. We now have a purchase of a game table we would like to make due to this incredible game room, my family enjoyed!!!
Love this game. It’s like shuffle board/curling on a table. We had a family tournament!!
Let’s play some pool!!
Enjoyed a day hiking in wonderful weather and beautiful scenery that God gave us.

Great Family Trip

Kids had a blast at the beach playing on all the different amenities available. Also felt really safe with life guards watching everything. Great trip and Great options.

We stayed at The Buck Stop for our daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place for our big family! It was so beautiful this time of year, the leaves were amazing! So many amenities and everything was well stocked! The decor was absolutely beautiful! Our host was very friendly and attentive, quick to respond and very accommodating! Would definitely stay again!

Our fridge broke, but the owners took care of it really quickly which was great! They are great communicators and there was lots of stuff to do in the area. A great place for a family vacation!

The stay was great! Enjoy the house, the neighbors was amazing! Beautiful lake and golf course! So much to do in the area! I would 10/10 go back to the house again for a vacation! Only thing was the kitchen cabinets are old and a few were a hard to open but it didn’t stop us from having a great time!

Loved it!!

The house was beautiful, very clean and perfectly laid out for our party! We had 4 vehicles and there was ample parking. Our host was great with communication and our check in process was so easy. Wish we had been able to stay longer but will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

From the check-in to checkout the process was great. The location was excellent with great views. The property was in great condition and clean. We will be renting those property again in the future and would recommend anyone who is looking for a getaway with 5 stars to checkout this property.

Family Weekend

House was perfect! Kids loved it and so did all the adults. Pac Man was the favorite for my son and my daughter was in and out of the “kids pool” (hot tub) all day. We will definitely choose this house next time we visit Big Canoe.

We had a great stay. We traveled with our two daughters and dog and the house had everything for a great week. The home is fully stocked and we had fun in the game room playing pool, shuffleboard, fussball and the kids favorite, the Pac-Man machine. We also used the hot tub a good bit. The area has plenty to do and we spent time golfing, playing tennis and hitting up the beach club and other swimming pools. I’d highly recommend this house to others and look forward to our next trip there.

The neighborhood was great. Loved the Jeep trail and waterfalls. The house was very nice and had everything that you needed. The only downside to our stay is that there was , no ice maker it took 10 minutes to get to the trash drop off. It was a bit further out than we wanted. But we all wanted to try the Big Canoe community, now I can that I have!
