Beautiful home! Thank you! Especially enjoyed the big canoe lower falls trail (6 min drive. 2 mile hike along a creek) and beach club (also 6 min drive and 20 entry for adults).

We had a great trip and stay at this beautiful home in Big Canoe. The views are stunning and the home is super nice and great for one couple or a bigger group. The host Jeffrey was really accommodating and it was very easy to get gate access and up to the home. The country club is good for dinner and having a cocktail and looking over the pretty lake near the golf course. Definitely put this on your list if you’re traveling in the area!

Our stay in Big Canoe was outstanding, especially because we had the privilege of relaxing in Jeff and Jessica's exquisite home. From the spectacular view to the little touches they added (such as lots of cozy blankets for cooler temps, beautiful decorations, a wonderful coffee station that we took advantage of every morning, extra snacks for when we got the munchies), we felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. Their communication made things super easy, and they are just lovely people. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous. The master bedroom is massive, and that bed is by far one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, especially at a rental property. The kitchen and casual dining area have insanely beautiful views, and all the amazing kitchen equipment you could possibly need. There were so many spots to relax in this home that it was hard to choose which room to view the beautiful mountain setting from. The floor to ceiling windows were the best and made it hard to take our eyes off that stunning view, and the deck was amazing for those gorgeous sunsets. This community is quite possibly the quietest we've ever stayed in, which I needed as a reprieve from all the big city noise I'm, unfortunately, accustomed to. We had the most peaceful, serene, comfortable stay, and we can't wait to come back to the J Hideaway again soon! We won't hesitate to book this incredible place again. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful home!! Well equipped, so many beautiful sitting rooms and spaces for multiple families to enjoy. Host was responsive and kind. The area is beautiful and offers lovely hikes, golf, swimming, boating, etc. We would absolutely recommend.

Our go to spot in Big Canoe

Took kids up to Big Canoe for Labor Day weekend. This is our third time at J Hideaway. I’m sure we’ll go back again in the future!

Beautiful Mountain Escape

We loved our time here at Big Canoe! The house was beautifully decorated for fall, very clean and extremely well equipped. Jeffrey was prompt with communication and a wonderful host. We would absolutely come again!

Wonderful stay in Big Canoe!

Would recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful home. Responsive home owner. Went with our 3 year old and his grandparents. We had a great family time and will be coming back soon!

Beautiful Property

This property is beautifully appointed and extremely spacious, yet cozy, for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here from the beautiful decor to the scenic mountain views. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s plenty of entertainment throughout the house such as a ping pong table, darts, and a foosball table. Highly recommend!

Incredible View

We had a great weekend at Big Canoe & this home was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked (& nicely labeled), it's tastefully decorated, great living room areas to relax, excellent game room for kids (& adults), strong WIFI, the view is simply amazing, etc. One of the best homes we've rented in the GA mountains. We will be back.

Beautiful and Comfortable

We were seeking a place to gather with 2 other couples to celebrate a 60th birthday. We were delighted to see this beautifully spacious and comfortable home when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware, dishes, glasses. We loved the separate sitting areas and spaced-out bedrooms. Since GPS takes you to the wrong entrance of Big Canoe, and we arrived in the dark, directions from Jasper to the manned gate would be helpful.

Big Canoe Wedding Weekend

This property is wonderful. It has an amazing view from the back deck great for coffee mornings or a cocktail at sunset. We stayed for a family wedding weekend, and the house was perfect. The house is spacious for everyone to spread out but also has 3 sitting/gathering areas that are amazing to hang out. The 4 season porch was our favorite place to be together as a family and enjoy the view! The kitchen is large and it was easy to prepare the few meals that we did make. The homeowner was fantastic. He gave us great information before arrival but also I had several questions while there and he responded quickly to all of them. I even left something at the house and he let me know and helped me make arrangements to pick it up. A truly fantastic host!!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

We loved this home! This was a 4 night, 5 day stay at the J Hideaway in the gorgeous Big Canoe community. We couldn’t have asked for a better view and more comfortable clean home! The decor was beautiful. There were cozy blankets and smart TVs in every room. We brought all our own food and were easily able to prepare/cook all the food in the kitchen. Everything we needed to cook was there and labeled and organized! We also enjoyed the local community restaurant Black Bear Pub overlooking the lake. The food was excellent. We loved the convenience of being able to workout each morning at the big canoe wellness center. We were able to kayak, paddle board, and canoe right inside the community. My kids enjoyed the beach and kids inflatable play area in the water. We can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect In every way!

This was a last second trip for my family and I. We had the week off between Christmas and New Years and wanted a quick trip from Atlanta. This could not have gone any better for us. Jeffrey, Is amazing to deal with. He is super responsive and was on top of everything. I have stayed in several VRBO's and he was by far the best to deal with. There was a lighting storm the day before we got there and the internet was out in the entire community. Less than 24 hours there was a technician there and had us up and running. With all the things to do in the house and the community, we didn't even care that internet was out. The house is beautiful!! The glassed in porch and fire place made for a great hangout spot for everyone. We had a nice cozy fire and played games. You can tell the house has been updated with very nice décor. Regarding the community...Wow! We went to the gym and indoor pool, both are very nice. We took the kids to the playground. There is a beautiful golf course and a handful of lakes. 10/10 would recommend this house and this community. We were blessed, on our last day we had a little snow fall, the kids couldn't have been happier. if you are on the fence about renting, just do it!!!

From booking to checkout, our stay could not have been better. The house was A-mazing, the views were incredible, and time just seemed to slow a bit. Jeff was a great communicator as a host, and everything was as promised. The community of BigCanoe was refreshing … from the mountain roads (they aren’t too bad), to the beautifully manicured golf course, to the not-so-manicured hiking trails, Big Canoe does not disappoint. Final tip- rent a Jeep Wrangler from the airport if you are flying in. The Jeep Trail in Big Canoe is worth it. My son and I went to two waterfalls that we wouldn’t have found in our hiking alone. You’ll enjoy your stay in the beautiful JHideaway!

PERFECTION!

This was the perfect place for our family to all get together. We had all of our children and grandchildren in one place and it was so enjoyable! The home is large enough to accommodate several people, but also had enough cozy spots to get away so we never felt like we were all on top of each other. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and we cooked large meals every night. Plenty of seating for dining indoors and out. Plenty of parking. Comfortable deck furniture. And the VIEW. Just spectacular!! Even the littlest grandkids didn't want to miss the colors at sunset. There are neighbors around, but you would never it know it. It is soooooo quiet and peaceful! Great communication from start to finish. The owner made what could have been a complicated process very simple and enjoyable. It was evident right from the start that his number one priority was to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Mission accomplished! Highly recommend this little slice of perfection!

Great House!

We love Big Canoe and love this house even more. The house was spotless which is very important to us. The views are some of the best we have had in Big Canoe. Will stay there again if there is any availability because of the great reviews.
