Old world meets new updates

A historic 1910 home has been converted into a modern, spacious, two story condo on a corner lot.

This newly updated spacious home with an open layout, updated kitchen and tons of natural light.

Outdoor space includes a back patio with a grill and dining table, shared enclosed front porch, and huge roof deck overlooking a newly renovated multi-million dollar park.

Our place is a across the street from the park (which is new and fenced in so the little ones can run around!), 1 block to the dog park, 4 blocks to the Washington Mall, 3 blocks to the supermarket and 6 blocks to the beach box (Jefferson Beach, during season), which can optionally use to store your own beach gear.

Come stay at our 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, pet friendly home (as with most VRBOs in Cape May, you must provide your own sheets and towels).

Interested in more room? We can attempt to coordinate with the other two units in the building to provide up to 9 bedrooms! Just let us know.

Great location

Location is perfect- easy walk to shop and eat. Condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. Happened to meet the property manager- very nice and friendly guy!

We loved our stay

We stayed for a week in June and loved it. The house is adorable with plenty of space. The living room was so comfy, watching TV exhausted from the day. Close to restaurants and shops. So much to do. A little bit of a walk to the beach but we didn’t mind because there was a large box on the beach for all of your stuff. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Cape May home

Loved everything about this house. It was so comfortable and spacious. Really liked all three f the kitchen amenities. Everything we needed was so easy to find. The owners were so easy to deal with, responding immediately when we had a question. The location is really convenient to everything we wanted to do in Cape May, especially walking to great restaurants for dinner. Definitely hoping to return.

The house was nice. I feel the cleaning company could have definitely did a better job. There were ants and we also had a mouse in the house. Contacted the owner and he was on top of the issues and had a service come out right away. Great communication! Frustrating that all the trash and recycling were left by previous renters.

40th birthday celebration

Our family travels to Cae May every year after Christmas for my daughter's birthday and New Year's Eve. The property is great. Clean and very conveniently located. Easy check in and check out, great amenities, spacious for family game night. We love staying here and look forward to it every year.

Nice family getaway

Some family and I enjoyed an extended Memorial Day at this property. Great kitchen, comfortable beds. We did not use the house porch, grill or beach box, but was nice to know they were available.

Great relaxing get away

We had a wonderful time, and our stay was so comfortable. Location was great, walkable to shops and grocery. It was so convenient and such a lovely home. The home was well equipped, and we had everything we needed to make home cooked meals. I would definitely like to return to this particular home in the future.

Excellent birthday weekend!

This VRBO home was excellent! 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, great location to beach and Washington street mall. Walking distance to great restaurants! Very clean on arrival and easy check-in process. Owner was readily available if needed. Only confusion was tv system

We love it here!

This is the second time my family has stayed at this wonderful property and it is just perfect for us. We love the location, the beds are comfy, everything is clean and it feels like a real home with all one would need. We stayed here a total of 16 nights so far over 2 years and can't recommend it enough! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful stay!

This is the 3rd different house we've stayed in in Cape May and it's been our favorite! The location is great, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the property had everything we needed! I highly recommend.

Great place for our first family trip

It was such a breath of fresh air to find a rental that was both baby and dog friendly! The space was cozy without having the grandmas house feel that most beach houses can have. It had easy parking, and was a short walk to so many restaurants and the beach, so everything was super stress free.

Cape May Dog Friendly

Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Location was close to Washington Square and dog park. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but the owners provide a beach box making it very doable if you are able to easily walk a half mile. Owner is very responsive and pleasant.

Fabulous location

Just what we needed for a weekend getaway

The property is just as described - I'd only add that it feels even roomier than the pictures indicate somehow. The Host was great as well - on a couple of occassions I had questions about parking and how to use the fan/light and he was immediately available by both phone and text. 100% would stay again!

I've been coming to Cape May for the past 15 years and have stayed in a variety of places. We were happy to see a fully stocked kitchen with cookware (minus a steamer basket, but we improvised)! The hosts provided a digital guidebook with all of the need to know information which was helpful prior to arrival day!There were areas that could have been cleaner but again you're at the beach so it's expected. We had to reach out to the owners since our primary bedroom's A/C was unusable due to dirt build up. They were quick to respond to help resolve the issue. The beds were decently comfortable, but know that the primary bedroom is uncomfortably hot in the evenings into the night. We would have loved curtains in that room to help keep the room cooler with the evening sun. Know that the street lights constantly go off overnight and the light shines in the primary and back bedroom's windows. Not the worst thing to happen, but something to note. It was discovered after our stay that the comforters were not washed in between guests so that is something to know as well. Overall, we enjoyed our week at the beach with this very walkable location!

Great condo

This property was absolutely perfect. Lots of room. Very well equiped kitchen. Spotlessly clean and well kept. Clearly a well loved vacation home for the owners who were lovely, friendly and helpful. Great location.

Birthday beach celebration

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this wonderful property to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It is so convenient to all the activities in Cape May and property is gorgeous, clean and very modern. Matt is very responsive and communication was very easy. Love it here and we would love to book again in the future.

Awesome house, location and owners!!

The property has been beautifully updated and maintained. The house is located just a short walk away from the beach and Washington square so we just parked our cars and walked everywhere. It was a huge bonus to have the park right across the street and the deck off the front bedroom to relax on after enjoying the beach. We rented the house for our annual family vacation and we thoroughly enjoyed the week. There were lots of modern amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. There was more than enough room for everyone to have space to themselves and to come together for family fun. We've stayed in plenty of rentals in Cape May and this one was absolutely our favorite.

Acerca del anfitrión

Anfitrión: Matt Burlick

We feel in love with Cape May in 2014 during an office season get away for Matt’s Birthday. We feel in love with the charm and history of the town. We knew instantly that we wanted to purchase a beach house in Cape May. A few years later we made that dream a reality and in October 2016 we purchased 902 Lafayette.

Matt and I meet in Hoboken, NJ and in 2012 we got married Tulum, Mexico. We currently live in downtown Philadelphia, PA. Matt is Computer Science professor at Drexel University and I work for Jazz Pharmaceuticals as a Regional Manager helping patients with chronic pain get pain relief with an non-opioid option.

We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!
