Serenity on the Sound - Quiet Neighborhood - Water Views

Serenity is a home that provides beautiful views of the Albemarle sound in a private setting. The home is second row waterfront. Water access is directly in front of the home. The water is usually 4-5 feet deep, depending on the wind, and is a sandy bottom. Sit in a rocking chair and enjoy the views from the porch, walk to the water for a swim, or take a drive to several nearby towns including historical Edenton and the Outer Banks. This is the perfect home to relax.
Edenton – 15 minutes
Columbia – 15 minutes
Nags Head – 1 hour
Elizabeth City – 40 minutes

We do not allow pets in the house or on the property. We allow up to 8 people on the property but no more than 8, regardless of whether or not they're spending the night.

This home was amazing! It was super clean! I dont think there was one area that had dust on it. It was super spacious and the access to the water was an added bonus. The home was cozy and easy to access. The kitchen was fully stocked and they even had a basket of light snacks out and music on upon our arrival! The area is super quiet too. ! This was one of my favorite homes to stay in. Edenton( my favorite town) is only 18 minutes away. We were down here for a 4h competiotion and that was only 17 minutes waway as well.

We spent the weekend with our son and grandsons.The house was exactly as described and even nicer in person. It was a perfect fit for our needs.The hosts live in the area and were very responsive to our requests and needs. They interacted with our grandsons and made the weekend special for all of us.We highly recommend this property.

very clean and organized, provided everything needed to have a good time without worrying about things we needed. Had a very good time, views were amazing. Totally recommend booking this place. Family friendly, easy to book and no problems with out stay.

Perfect weekend stay!

We were in town for the Christmas festivities in Edenton and this was the perfect place to stay! Close enough to town with a great view. Lots of beds and comfy hang out area. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

We recently stayed at Serenity on the Sound while visiting my parents’ home for my brother’s wedding, and it was absolutely lovely. The house is adorable and located on a very peaceful, quiet street with beautiful views and an amazing porch. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water.We usually stay at my parents’ house, but if we ever need another local rental—or just want a quiet weekend getaway—we would definitely return. I highly recommend this property and the host.

Amazing stay

My family and I had an amazing time. It was very clean, neat and overall nice quiet area to stay. The kids loved to swim in the sound and enjoyed being able to run around and be kids.

November Getaway

This is a wonderful home veiws are awesome and relaxing while enjoying the spacious front porch neigbors are friendly and location is very quiet stayed here in the past hope to in the future.

My husband was born and raised on the Albemarle sound. I moved here after I graduated from college and never left. We love this area. We love everything outdoors and we love the water.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This house is very special. My mother always loved the water so my dad built this second home for her so she could sit in a rocking chair on the porch and enjoy the beautiful views of the Albemarle sound. The house was finished in January 2012 and sadly she passed away in July. My mom named the house Serenity. This was going to be her get away. Now it will be a get away for many to enjoy and she would love that!
