We loved our stay at this beautiful home! Spacious and perfect for our family. We loved being on the water and so close to Edenton. 10/10 recommend!!!

This home was amazing! It was super clean! I dont think there was one area that had dust on it. It was super spacious and the access to the water was an added bonus. The home was cozy and easy to access. The kitchen was fully stocked and they even had a basket of light snacks out and music on upon our arrival! The area is super quiet too. ! This was one of my favorite homes to stay in. Edenton( my favorite town) is only 18 minutes away. We were down here for a 4h competiotion and that was only 17 minutes waway as well.

We spent the weekend with our son and grandsons.The house was exactly as described and even nicer in person. It was a perfect fit for our needs.The hosts live in the area and were very responsive to our requests and needs. They interacted with our grandsons and made the weekend special for all of us.We highly recommend this property.

My husband, and I were visiting my 93 year young father! We live in Tennessee and my husband has never seen the sea. For the first time EVER, my husband said that every dime we spent for this vacation was well worth it - simply due to our stay at Serenity on the Sound! We were overwhelmed by all the amenities - body wash, shampoo/conditioner, clothes detergent, spices in the kitchen, every possible utensil you could imagine - Full coffeemaker AND a single cup Keurig cup coffeemaker! Coffee and sugar provided - bring your own cream though - LoL! The location on the sound was absolutely breathtaking! We sat on the front porch and had coffee in the morning with a clear view of the Sound and the Albemarle Bridge in the background. We were positioned to where we felt a slight warm breeze blowing off the water. Relaxing.The hosts were completely accommodating, noninvasive and hospitable. Every room was beautifully designed and supplied. I cannot express in words how grateful we are or how impressed we are with the Serenity House on the Sound other than to say we’ve already booked for our June 2027 family reunion to make sure it’s available! This location is a gem. I’m only posting this review because the hosts deserve it. In all honestly, out of pure selfishness, I would rather not tell anyone about it for fear that too many people would find out about Serenity and we would begin to have a hard time booking vacations! Thank you for a memorable vacation @ Serenity!!!

very clean and organized, provided everything needed to have a good time without worrying about things we needed. Had a very good time, views were amazing. Totally recommend booking this place. Family friendly, easy to book and no problems with out stay.

Perfect weekend stay!

We were in town for the Christmas festivities in Edenton and this was the perfect place to stay! Close enough to town with a great view. Lots of beds and comfy hang out area. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

We recently stayed at Serenity on the Sound while visiting my parents’ home for my brother’s wedding, and it was absolutely lovely. The house is adorable and located on a very peaceful, quiet street with beautiful views and an amazing porch. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water.We usually stay at my parents’ house, but if we ever need another local rental—or just want a quiet weekend getaway—we would definitely return. I highly recommend this property and the host.

Amazing stay

My family and I had an amazing time. It was very clean, neat and overall nice quiet area to stay. The kids loved to swim in the sound and enjoyed being able to run around and be kids.
