Summer getaway

This is the second time we stayed at house and it was still in great shape. We stayed with our 3 adult kids and their families. Location was convenient and a nice quiet getaway spot. Backyard and game room are nice.

Perfect Hill Country Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful New Braunfels retreat. The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near the river and local spots. One of the unexpected highlights was the friendly donkey and goats on the property—they were such a fun and unique touch! Our group loved relaxing in the backyard and soaking up the countryside feel. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with a bit of charm and character!

Summer Break

We had a wonderful 3 days at the house. The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable with lots of bonus features. We would love to come back and stay again some time.

What a beautiful property! The house is spacious, comfortable & in a great location. So nice to have so many bedding options for a crowd. The beds we used were all reported to be very comfortable. The kitchen provides plenty of plates, glasses, cups, flatware. Very nice that the property provides some shampoo/conditioner & soaps. The neighborhood is very quiet. The weather & our schedule did not cooperate for us to utilize the outside space but we all agreed we need to plan another gathering here to enjoy it as it is a wonderful set up.

Yaya Yearly Trip

We are 8 ladies who were college friends and now in our 60’s! We are the Yayas! This house was perfect for our yearly trip. It is beautiful, very clean, great bathrooms and showers. The pavilion in back was our favorite place to hang out. The owner was awesome when we had a question. We will definitely be back!!

Great house close to gruene

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and rooms were huge. The shuffleboard table was a nice addition too. It was raining so we didn’t utilize the outdoor space but it looked great as well. Only a short drive as well. Lyft picked us up with no issues as well. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future.

Wonderful Family Space

Home was exactly as described (and clean and comfy). We loved having plenty of space for our extended family. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Appreciated the binder full of pertinent information on the home and the area's amenities. Would certainly stay again as the owner was promptly receptive to questions regarding their home. We got a kick out of the video game machine...and so many other "game" options for the whole family.

Family wedding

It was a great surprise to have the game room full of fun activities. All the young teens and adults had fun playing all of them. Then watching the game outside and grilling was also a highlight as the fire pit. Definitely a spot to tell all our friends about and visit again.

Perfect family getaway

Location of home was perfect for exploring all that Gruene had to offer - shopping, dining, live music, etc. It was also perfect for those of us that just wanted to chill. Weather was perfect for hanging the hammock between the beautiful trees and reading a good book. Kitchen well appointed so we had a couple of great meals at the house. Game room was perfect for hanging out when weather wasn't great. I would definitely recommend this home for families. Floor plan was great for our group.

Amazing Home

I stayed here with a bunch of my friends. We all loved it so much. It was great for hanging out, cooking, playing games, movie night. It is in such a cute neighborhood and the neighbors are very friendly (Donkey and Goat were super cute!). The house was very clean and has every small item you could possibly need (great for cooking). All of my friends wanted the link to the house reservation because they plan on returning with their families.

Family tubing weekend

Our stay at your home was such a GREAT experience. The location was perfect as it was close to grocery stores, restaurants (downtown Gruene is just minutes away) and it was close to where we were able to put in for tubing. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house was very well taken care of and stocked with plenty of extras. There was plenty of room for our family of 11 to spread out, room for playing games and space outside for spending time together. I would highly recommend staying at this home!! We will be back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Family Getaway after 3 years of Covid!

First time we have ever rented a VRBO. We are very thankful for such a perfect home space, location, outside activities and such interesting neighbors ...donkey, goats and multiple deer in midst of mating season. All in all, the family wants to do this again. It was a perfect 3 days with lots of laughter. The beds were wonderful and the interesting neighbors gave our great grandchildren lots of animals to watch. We had a great time!

Absolutely fantastic, don’t hesitate, just book!

We visited this property for our son’s wedding at Gruene Estates (beautiful venue!) and the location was perfect! We were only about 5 mins away from all the fun in Gruene. The house itself was a perfect set up for multiple/large families. There is a HUGE master, 2 bedrooms on the other side of the house and an additional hallway near the garage with another 2 bedrooms (perfect for parents and small kids). The game room in the garage is fantastic as well as the games outside (cornhole and disc golf). There is a beautiful pavilion with TVs and a grill outside. The house was spotless, the kitchen is well stocked with any anything you need to cook or entertain. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I, our two grown daughters and one son-in-law and our three grandkids stayed here for the weekend for our son’s wedding. The house is beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for our group with a couple of beds not even used. This house truly can fit 15 people comfortably. The game room was a big hit with our little’s. The outside space allowed plenty of room to roam and run and explore. The grounds are incredible not to mention the surrounding area…..just stunning. Tons of wildlife! Very close to town center and Gruene Estates. Our host was incredible with the communication. Literally an almost immediate response when I texted. And, with three small children, I found that we were running about 15 minutes late to check out and they graciously gave us 30 extra minutes, if needed. Highly recommend this home. And thank you to our hosts!!

10 ⭐️ Stars!

If I could give it 10 stars, I sure would. This house has everything your heart could desire. It is spacious, clean and a lot of fun. Our group has been coming to the river together for 33 years now and I have to say, this house ranks second to none. If I could make one change, it would be that they put a pool on their very large property Thank you so much for such a lovely place to visit. We will definitely book this home again.
