Our stay was great and everything was as described. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying there again.

My friends and I stayed 3 nights and 4 days in this house. EVERYTHING was just as advertised and maybe even better. It was clean and well stocked, better than any other place we have stayed. Corresponding with the host was easy and they were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much. We highly recommend this house.

This was my second time to stay here. This is a fabulous property for a large group with great amenities. It’s close to every thing we needed and wanted to do. Super convenient Will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful family weekend on the River in this lovely VRBO. It is a beautiful setting with great accommodations and room to spread out on the different patios and balconies. Loved having coffee on one of the balconies while watching the birds in the trees each morning and enjoyed a lovely family dinner on the balcony off the main house in the evening. Both overlooking the river. Everything in the house was clean and well stocked. Highly recommend.

Property was stunning and beautiful and spacious and so clean. It had everything for us we didn't have to worry about a thing and the host was fantastic would absolutely stay there again!

One of the better VRBO visits…extremely clean house(s), comfortable furniture and beds, great supplies and very well organized. Host provided an exceptional selection of paper and plastic products to cut down on the need to wash a lot of dishes. Kayaks and tubes were great for river activities.

This property is absolutely perfect for a getaway to the New Braunfels/Gruene area. It’s literally 4-10 minutes from anything that you’ll want to do, including the Gruene Dance Hall, Schlitterbahn, The Gristmill, tubing stations and much more; all while being on a secluded, beautiful piece of riverfront land. Additionally, it was supremely clean and was possibly the best stocked rental I’ve ever seen. My family and I had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this property!

Beautiful property and overlook of the Guadalupe. The current is surprisingly slow in this section of the river, making it VERY safe for recreation on the river right in front of the house. Kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed. The house rules may appear to be stringent, but it showed to me that the Owner cares about the property (and it shows). Our family plans our annual summer vacation trips to explore different parts of the country, but we truly enjoyed this place that is in our own backyard. We hope to visit again.

The house and cottage were very beautiful it had everything that we needed. The location of the house so close to downtown Gruene also our host keep us up on everything that we needed to know about the property a lot more then we expected. If the opportunity comes up to stay again we will definately consider it.

This was a wonderful stay, exactly what we were looking for.Chris and Johanna were very welcoming and responsive to all our needs.The house was really nice and comfortable for a large group. We found everything we needed and loved the large dining table overlooking the river, for breakfast and dinner. The location is also very convenient for visiting Gruene, where we enjoyed the live country music and artisanal shops.I definitely recommend this place. It exceeded all our expectations.

The entire home was immaculate. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. The scenery was great with deer walking throughout the yard and the location to downtown was perfect. The layout of the home and cottage was also perfect for our family. I would highly recommend the Gruene River Home.
