The property was just as described and was beautiful! Our host communicated with us weeks in advance, and throughout the trip to make sure we had all that we needed. We enjoyed the stay tremendously and recommend this property.

Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house and area! It had the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a house or condo. Though not directly on the beach (and you cannot see the beach from the house), it was a very short walk and right by the community pool. Our grandchildren ages 9, 11, 14, and 17 enjoyed the many water toys and games available, and chairs, umbrellas, and bikes were provided, as well. Our host was extremely communicative and helpful. We hope to be back!

Perfect weather, perfect beach and perfect villa. The locations is great, right next to the pool and the access to the beach is just a few steps. The Villa is just beautiful and has everything in the kitchen you could possibly need. The location is within walking distance to Gulf Place. We would stay here again for sure!!!!

Well stock home with great location

We enjoyed our stay. The property was well stocked and close to restaurants, and shops. The community pool was a nice addition to our stay.

This place is amazing

Perfect venue for a girls weekend! The house is beautifully decorated. The beach was gorgeous and the house is so close to the pool. We loved every minute and cannot wait to come back next year!

Great beach trip...some of the least crowded beachfront on 30A

Exactly as pictured...beach was lovely and noticeable less crowded than other spots. 30A always provides a great family vacation.

Wonderful Beach House!

Our recent stay at Villa Blanca was our favorite beach vacation of all times. The house was perfect for our family and communication with the manager couldn't have been easier. We would all recommend this home for future beach vacations!

Beyond pleased

Even before arrival, communication with the host was easy and accommodating. The unit is lovely and is even better in person than the pictures. Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The access to the beach and pool was so close. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house and beach. Private beach was wonderful. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Owners were great. We saw some reviews about rude residents but I met some and they were all very nice. We managed to park 3 large vehicles. One truck in the garage, one traverse on the side and an outback backed in parallel to the garage behind the traverse. On sunny days the AC seemed to struggle to keep the downstairs and upstairs cool while the master bedroom was like an icebox. We kept the blinds down and door closed in the upstairs bedroom and that helped. One bedroom downstairs had a ceiling fan. We had a lot of mostly cloudy days so it worked out. There were other reviews about the upstairs AC so no surprise there. That said, we would stay here again.

Santa Rosa

10th year vacationing with our kids and grandkids in the Destin area. 5th year in Vizcaya. Love the house, plus the private beach is great. Love Santa Rosa/30A area.

Magical!!

Property was wonderful. The walk to the beach was less than 50 yards, the pool 30 feet. Making plans to come back and visit next year!!

Heaven on earth

The 10 of us loved our stay and the beautiful accommodations! The stairs were easy to use which is a huge plus! The beach and pool are literally steps away. Even with the beach closed for swimming we had plenty to do to entertain ourselves. Thank you we will book again!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Blanca 30A! The home is beautifully designed and decorated . Spotless and filled with light.The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the private beach and even closer to the community pool with cabanas and plenty of seating. The gated community felt very safe and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway.We especially loved the winding staircase and open layout, which gave the home such a unique charm. Everything we needed for a luxurious and stress-free vacation was provided.Mary is an amazing host—helpful, welcoming, and quick to respond, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Villa Blanca 30A—we can’t wait to come back!

Santa Rosa Beach Vacation

The rental was conveniently located on a beautiful and private section of SRB. Our 4 bedroom 4.5 baths unit was generously supplied for the week long stay. One area of concern for this unit is the air conditioning system needed to be kept very cold in order to keep the top floor bedroom cool enough. Also prior to renting one should know there are rather steep steps going over the dunes to the beach.

Leslie, We appreciate the 4 star review and certainly agree that our beautiful private beach is incredibly convenient. Our home has two heating/cooling systems and I always advise guests to keep the 3rd floor bedroom door closed and blinds lowered during the day in order to keep the room at its optimum cool level. There are stairs to all 3 of the neighborhood beach accesses and I will be sure to let future guests know about them.

Beautiful House

Our family of 9 stayed a week at the property and it was amazing! The house is beautiful, just as described, and the location was absolutely perfect! What a luxury to be able to walk the short distance to the beach and have 2 chairs and an umbrella set up for you. The private beach for the neighborhood was a huge plus. We’ve never stayed so close to the beach and we definitely got spoiled. Mary was wonderful to work with. She called before our stay to make sure we knew all the ins and outs, and the one time I needed to message her during our stay she answered right away. Our family has already decided this is our vacation spot from now on. Thank you, Mary for everything and for such an incredible stay!

Overall this home was great. I love staying in a place that is more owner managed, because I find that it is more stocked and less bare bone necessities than a large rental company managed spot.Pros: neighborhood was great, beach and pool access was SO easy and the beach itself was not crowded at all. Home was fully stocked. I’m talking beach toys, chairs, boards etc as well as spices in kitchen. AC worked GREAT. We rented a beautiful beachfront home last year and the ac on the main floor went out two days before checkout. The property company did not help (I’m looking at you Southern Vacation rentals), and we were stuck in a 90 degree main floor for 2 days. NO issue like that hereCons: pictures are deceiving, there is NO beach view. Not even a sliver on the main balcony. There is a tiny ocean view from the bedroom in the 3rd floor. Also no breeze, and the door on balcony was tough to close correctly. Range in kitchen did not work great, and the vented hood didn’t function at all. Also there is only one singular hose to wash sand off and it was cracked in several places. I wish they had a station by the boardwalk to wash off as well. Lastly I personally didn’t love the shower heads in the primary, they seemed cheap and didn’t work well.Overall though we really enjoyed the property. It was my family of 4 and my sisters family of 5 plus our mom. All our kids are 3-9 and it worked out well.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed the personal touch of an owner managed home as well as our very special neighborhood with private beach and community pool. Your review, however, is misleading with the cons you stated. The statement that there is not even a "sliver" of a view is untrue together with published "misleading" pictures. Our home offers a "sliver" view from the screened porch room. We are replacing the cracked outdoor hose this Saturday and would have done so during your stay had you asked. While there aren't rinse off stations on the boardwalk to the beach, there are rinse off stations just across from it located in the pool area. With regard to "cheap" shower heads in the primary master, the rain head/wall shower head and sprayer are all Delta fixtures which were not inexpensive but the preferred choice of most plumbers in the area should they need work or replacement parts. Also my property manager would have fixed the range hood if you'd asked. I was unaware that there was a problem. When you stated there was no breeze, I'm not sure how that can be humanly controlled. There is a fan, however, on the screened porch. Please communicate with us next time so that we can address any issues you feel are lacking.

Loved our time at Vizcaya

The home was beautiful and well decorated. Loved all the beach chairs they had there for our use along with the two set up each day on the beach. We rented an additional four chairs as well. The gentleman at the rental place wasn’t very friendly but the kids setting up the chairs were great. I liked that it was close to the pool and beach access; and LOVED it was a private beach. The view of the water was a bit disappointing from the house. I was expecting to be able to see more of it from the patio. All in all it was a great place with plenty of room. Communication from the owner was fantastic as well. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

I took my wife and 3 young adult children to Villa Blanca and we had the best time. On the way home we all talked about what a great vacation we just had. The Villa was beautiful and very clean. We did not cook much other than breakfast, but the kitchen had everything you could need and more. Everything you could need for the beach was in the garage. The beautiful pool is right across the drive way and there is a convenience store just across 30A. The beach was 50 yards away and they had chairs and an umbrella set up for us each day. The beach was beautifu! The restaurants were easy to get to and the people we interacted with were awesome. If you get to the restaurants before 6:00 you will likely not have much of a wait depending on how many people you have. We loved riding the bikes at the villa too. So much fun. Mary was great and honestly we really didn’t need to contact her because everything was perfect and we had no problems. We looking forward to coming back to villa blanca. TC
