ski vacation condo in the mountains in Ruidoso New Mexico, The condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with a pullout couch sleeps 6 comfortably maximum 8 people Why rent a 400 sq/ft hotel when you can rent a 1250 sq/ft home. available nightly rates start at $65 a night weekdays through Dec. 16th. Thanksgiving week is $100 weekdays and $125 weekend, Dec 16th - jan. 2nd $175 a night. There is a one time $135 cleaning fee and a $100 refundable deposit. This Winter wonderland provides you with skiing 45 minutes away to ski apache with zipline and gondola, 20 minutes to sledding and tubing 10 minutes from downtown other activities are horseback riding, 5 minutes to billy the kid casino, and to the riverside park. my unit has a two car garage, 2 fireplaces ,wifi , swimming pool (summer only), cable t.v.. balconies, pool table, ping pong, texas hold 'em poker table, kitchen, washer and dryer large living area. Summer activities are fishing, hunting, hiking, shopping, mountain biking. riverside park disc golf, golf other things to do in the area 2hrs away Carlsbad caverns , white sands national park , alamogordo space observatory, roswell, 1hr away cloudcroft.

It was awesome the owner was a phone call away if I ever needed some assistance with anything. Its a lot better than staying in a hotel I would definitely be staying there again if I’m in the area

This is the worst vrbo we have ever stayed in. The condo was not clean and smelled of mold. There was not a coffee pot or cooking pans that were usable and we had to go buy them. There we not enough towels for us and no wash cloths. We had to buy this also. The bed in one of the bed rooms did not have a bottom sheet on it and when we went to look for one they were thrown in the closet and we could not tell which one were clean. The bed linens were old and had cigarette burns in them. The pillows were so stained and nasty we had to buy two pillows to have enough that were decent to sleep on. The door off the kitchen would not open because it was broken. One of the bar stools kept falling apart. There was one step that was loose and felt like you were going to fall. We spent 80.00 just to get stuff we needed ( pots coffee pot kitchen stuff bed and bath items). We were told we would get reimbursed for kitchen items but we did not. Will never stay here again

Sub par for such a nice location

The location is awesome with a beautiful view if the mountains. However, Ruidoso New Mexico is extremely cold in the winter. The heater was not working nor the space heaters. It was 16° out. Every one of us were freezing all night. We all woke with symptoms of a cold. The doors leading to the balconies are warped and difficult to open. Beware of the third step leading down stairs to the den. It is very unstable and held in with just a couple of screws. No pot for the coffee maker and no bathroom amenities. No soap, shampoo etc. As seasoned VRBO owners we would suggest that these issues plus cleanliness be addressed because the property is great

Great place for a fun getaway!!

I have stayed here many times and what I love the most is it's versatility. You have 2 fireplaces and 3 separate areas for sleeping. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and the main living area is big and open that makes family living very enjoyable. It's a short drive from all kinds of activities from small town shopping to sledding, casino fun, horseback riding and horse racing as well! The thrift stores in the town are fun and unique and the Billie the Kid museum is authentic and so interesting. There's a great little pizza place downtown that always has a long line as well as many other restaurants to choose from after a long day of skiing. Ski Apache is a 30 minute enjoyable, scenic drive away. The grounds keepers and neighbors are friendly and the owner will get you what you need as soon as possible if anything is missing. You will definitely enjoy your stay!!

Perfect!

Awesome place for our family vacation. Had everything we needed with plenty of space for the family! Will be coming back next winter!

Dirty

Not like the pictures. Unit was dirty Sheets were dirty. It smelled like cigarettes. Very outdated. The oven is useless, it does not heat properly and has not been cleaned in a long time if you stay here bring your own paper plates and cups We found hair in the bed If you just want a place to sleep your better off in a hotel The area is nice I will be back but I will stay somewhere else
