The cottage was amazing - it was in PERFECT condition and one of the cleanest places we have stayed at similar to this (lakeside cottage). The hosts were communicative and accommodating. The property was amazing as well - so beautiful. The area was quiet, no people to have to interact with - a perfect time. THANK YOU!

What a lovely camp! We had such a great week! The house was very clean, well laid out, and so nicely decorated. Great coffee station, great air conditioning, well organized trash and recycling bins. Lots of water "toys", a nice deck and dock, and a great zero entry area to the lake. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay here!

The property was clean and well stocked with everything I needed. The location is easy to find and a beautiful spot on the lake. The check in was easy and the host was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. This was a perfect spot to enjoy a week on a lake in Maine.

This is a beautiful cabin! And it is located just feet from the water. They have everything you need for a restful/fun stay--kayaks, canoes, a fire pit (with lots of pre-cut logs), and a great patio area overlooking the lake. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken the available kayaks out on the lake, but it was quite chilly when we were there in early June. There is a lavender farm about 10 minutes away that has beautiful outside spaces if you want a change of scenery. We did a day-trip to Bar Harbor, which was also fantastic (about2 hours away).Jim and Peggy were very responsive hosts. Would definitely recommend!

The property was beautiful; the lake house was well stocked and clean and the check in and out was seamless. The Seavey's were wonderful to work with, and we will be back next year!

Everything was perfect, great place to relax and enjoy the many wonders of nature. We saw eagles, deer and other aminals. The fishing was great. We would recommend 100%.

Wonderful place

This is a nice place with a nice private outside area. Close to stores but with that quiet, peaceful feel. The owners are very nice, communication was good and we would stay again!

A Perfecr Place To Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It had everything we needed and beyond to make our atay comfortable and convenient. The host had unexpexted extras. The Afterbite we found was especially helpful thanks to the hungry mosquitos.

Perfect Maine lake house! Hosts, Jim and Peggy, were easy to get ahold of and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant! They made our first stay in Maine a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the fire pit outside and watching the ducks, geese and heron play on the lake. The coast was an easy drive of about an hour plus depending on where we were going. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Pleasant stay at a top-notch lake cabin

As we have done the past couple of years, we spent another relaxing and peaceful week at this wonderful cabin on the lake. The cove is home to some wonderful loons ho are almost always visible.

Wonderful lakeside cottage

This is the second year we have stayed at this beautiful cabin and we could not have had a better time! This is the perfect place for a family getaway. Cabin has everything you could think of needing. The owners were beyond accommodating and went above and beyond for our stay this year. Don’t second guess it, book this cabin! Just not on the weeks I want to haha

Relaxing vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Newport. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities and was right on the water yet close to town. There were nearby restaura nts, Hannaford and Walmart if you forgot anything. We loved being on the water to go fishing and kayaking. The location was very peaceful and quiet. We loved our time there and hope to be back next year.

Beautiful location.

This this vacation rental was beautiful inside and out. The host had all of the renters needs well thought out and responded quickly whenever we had questions. The aesthetics were beautiful the scenery breathtaking. Access to the water was a step away from the camp and we enjoyed that completely. Would definitely love to rent again in the future.

Best place to getaway and relax!

We returned to this cottage again this summer and had another amazing, restful and fun week. Cottage was ready before official check-in. It’s pristine and has everything you need from kayaks to an extra toothbrush just in case. We enjoyed games, reading, swimming, campfires, grilling and kayaking. We are already booked for next summer!

Complete package!

Our family stayed here in August for a week and it was one of the best properties that we have rented using Vrbo. It is a beautiful setting & the owners have made it very accommodating for guests. The location was super convenient as a bonus. We enjoyed use of the beach & kayaks daily. We looked forward to our nightly campfires, waiting for a glimpse of the visiting heron in the lake grasses. It was a relaxing week & just what our family needed to slow down & reconnect.

Piece of heaven

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful lake. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The owners were easy to reach and helpful with check in. Our family of 5 had plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The lake was quiet and kayaking and swimming were the highlights of each day. Our family highly recommends this cabin if you’re looking for some R&R and family time. Groceries stores and restaurants are close by for anything you need.
