Gary, comfortable beds and a quiet stay are exactly what we aim for out here in the Hill Country, so glad those landed right for you. The back door latch has been fixed and we have a grounds crew clearing the leaf buildup around the property now. Neither of those should be waiting on a guest to point them out, and we appreciate you doing so. Tim, a quick call and a 20-minute turnaround on both hiccups tells us everything about how those situations should go, and we're glad the team delivered that. The door code and the sawdust from the recent door work should not have greeted you at check-in, and we've tightened the post-maintenance walk-through checklist so the next guest arrives to a clean house from the moment they step inside. That backyard is one of our favorites at this property, and Main Street is right there whenever you want it. Come back and we'll make sure the arrival is as smooth as the rest of the stay!

Kathleen, a house that smells like smoke is not something you should have walked into, and you are right that it should have been said up front. The soft goods and drapes in that home are being replaced, the property has been through a full odor treatment, and it is being held out of the calendar until it passes a scent check. On the pet side, the amount and the terms now appear in the listing and in the booking confirmation, well before the cancellation window closes, so nobody gets surprised the way you did. If you will give the property another look once it is back online, I would like you to see it right. Whenever you are ready for the next trip, 10% off is waiting for you as a returning guest.
