Our beautiful and clean modern 5 bedroom home will be available for vacation rental, short term stay for personal, business or educational housing needs. Longer term rentals can be arranged and budgeted for your educational or business monthly budgets. Please contact us in advance for details.
Our immaculately clean and personally sanitized private home may be just the way to balance health and safety concerns of a local hotel with guests coming and going. We feature a fully furnished queen master bedroom, formal dining room, breakfast nook, family room and living room. Junior master bedroom with queen bed and 2 additional bedrooms available with twin beds and twin trundle beds and a multi purpose 5th bedroom. Includes 1 car attached garage, all utilities including Netflix and other roku via 100/100 speed wifi for streaming.
Main level includes solid oak hardwood floors throughout living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, and family room with built in gas fireplace. 2nd level includes Master bedroom with master bath and full walk-in closet, Junior master bedroom with private bath and 2 additional bedrooms with adjoining full bath. Laundry located on 2nd level with LG washer and dryer, Finished multipurpose room in basement level.
Owner maintains an office in the apartment with separate access and use of 1 parking space for vehicle storage.

Super Excellent Stay

Few times in our rental houses that we do every year, we had felt in such a comfortable place, quite spacious, clean, and above all, Robert's kindness made us feel at home, his attentions, for example, leaving us some primary food , are of such consideration rarely seen by the host. Fantastic house, great owner

The house was great, the location was great, the owner was great. Need I say more? The owner supplied some food for us to welcome us and the kitchen was supplied with all the utensils, spices and things needed in the kitchen. Each bedroom had a TV and was clean and comfortable. All in all a wonderful place. If we need to come back to the area, we will look at this house first.

Beautiful house, great access to the Capital

The house was beautiful and very modern. Immaculately clean. Lots of space. Plentiful in cooking needs-utensils, basic needs and in-a-pinch foods. Also a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread, and a dozen eggs, orange juice, and butter in the fridge for late arrivals that have no time to shop prior to check in. Really well thought out and prepped. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again! Also, very attentive host!

Outstanding Property

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is spacious and open. It was very inviting and stocked with the essentials and more. The washer and dryer options were great - we were able to do laundry throughout our stay. It was great to have two primary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms as we were also traveling with my parents.The property manager was extremely responsive and helped us out quickly when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house.Highly recommend.

Excellent choice

My family (4 - 5 adults, 3 teens, one child) found the house to be absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for accommodations for a crowd in a safe neighborhood in close proximity to DC museums and monuments. The house was very clean and comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Driving to DC in our rental car was easy enough, taking as little as 35 minutes depending on traffic. You can’t beat the cost, and you have an entire house to eat and relax in after hours of sightseeing. The host is amazing, very responsive, and super helpful. If we ever get a chance to go back to the area, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.

Family Thanksgiving

Our extended family of 10 stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting our son who lives nearby. The property was great for our family with plenty of space and beds for everyone. We did need to bring our own pack 'n' plays for the babies but that was expected. We especially appreciated the cleanliness. Finding milk, eggs, bananas and bread in the fridge when we arrived was an unexpected bonus.

Silver Spring Gem

We gathered family together for a wedding in College Park. The whole house was spotless! Bedrooms, three full baths, and kitchen necessities met all our needs during a long weekend stay. The check-in was simple - everything worked as described. The check-out was also simple - no long list of "to do" items - just common courtesy to ensure everything is off/closed/locked and the trash emptied. Owner responded quickly to our questions. The location is convenient not only to the University of Maryland campus area - but also to Washington, DC. This is a lovely, spacious home!

Had a great time!

We visited the DC area in 2008 and decided that the family needed a reprise of it. The house provided a great "home base" for the trip, which included multiple days on the Mall (close to Glenmont Metro station), the Aquarium and other sites in Baltimore/Annapolis, and a day trip up to Gettysburg. The house was clean, comfy, and Robert is a great communicator. Highly recommend

Made it so easy

Robert is a great host and did everything to make our family reunions a success. The house is immaculate and very well stocked. My only comment is it can sleep 8 adults relatively comfortably (2 bedrooms have pullout mattress on the floor).

Home Away From Home

Robert was an excellent host. He was friendly and prompt with all of our needs and communication. He even stocked the fridge with some essentials. I would definitely recommend this location. My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

AWESOME Host and Home

Plenty of room and bathrooms for our party of 8 adults. Large driveway. Caring Host. Many essentials provided - everything from Washing Machine Detergent to Dryer sheets. Grocery Stores were close, host provided some startup groceries. For those of you needing it - child locks on all cabinets. Very Clean and well cared for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Sister Trip

This stay for my 2 sisters and me staying for 11 days in the area to visit our 4th sister who is in Riderwood nursing facility in Silver Spring. It was very convenient for us to visit with her most of the day and relax at night in your house. Everything was great from your welcoming us to the wonderful house and grounds. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is visiting the area for a wonderful place to stay. So much better than any hotel!!!

Beautiful house

We had a lovely time in this beautiful house. The rooms are very spacious and each has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to start cooking. Fresh milk, fruit and mineral water were there when we arrived. The beds are really comfortable.

DC Vacation

Overall the house was good. It had plenty of space for our large group. Positives: * it was a short drive to the metro to get us wherever we wanted to go. * the house was stocked with some food which I hand never experienced before. (That was awesome) The not so positive: *The 5th bedroom wasn’t as advertised. It said it was a queen and twin. But it was a day bed and air mattress. * The master bedroom shower had mold and I am allergic so I ended up with no voice and breathing issues. * we couldn’t get any cold water out of the kitchen faucet. All in all it was fine. They were responsive to messages. All in all nice experience.

Would definitely stay again!

This was an amazing location, house was exactly what was shown. This was nice space for two couples with the jr. master suite. There was room for us comfortably. We only had one issue (propane tank on grill needed replaced). Robert was easy to get ahold of and switched it out the next day. Checkin was simple and the door code worked the first time and was given the day before. Robert was so sweet to stock the kitchen with eggs, butter, milk, OJ, soda, bread and bananas. Was handy as we got in late, but could put off the grocerty store until the next day. One thing that I really enjoyed was there was no list of what I needed to do at checkout. No strip the bed, start the laundry... etc. Was only asked to take out the trash and I was fine with that. We always pay a cleaning fee and this time I felt that it was worth it. Location was in the suburbs but close to a metro ($11 Uber) to get into DC and Baltimore only 25 minutes away. A nice backyard to hang out in if you just want a nice getaway. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful

I was very impressed with our stay here. The place was clean and already stocked with essentials. The owner was very responsive, often responding within minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and located close to the Metro for and easy commute into DC. This would be my first choice on return trip to DC hands down. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My friends and I were there for a short vacation. The house was spacious and clean. Good location and away from the busyness of the city. Fridge, cupboards and pantry were stacked with all the essentials. We used the Metro and Uber as our means of transportation. Milk, juice, eggs and bread were an added bonus which would have been awkward to carry on the Metro. National Museum of African American History and Culture is a must see as well as Step Africa.

While building this beautiful and spacious home for our extended family, we have temporarily adjusted our plans due to illnesses with close family members. Working 2 jobs and living alone in this large house seemed a waste, for the moment, it is nice to know that the home can benefit families as it was intended. Hopefully, sooner than later, we can resume the life we intended for our family, but until then, we can help ourselves by helping others fulfill their needs, whatever that need may be.

Our home is large enough for parents, kids and grandparents to share and have plenty of elbow room. Not to mention the savings over booking 2 or more hotel rooms for family coming for a wedding or vacationing together. Being able to cook a meal in house once a day and save a fortune in restaurant bills as well.
We want to provide all the comforts of home with the personalized service of a hotel at a fraction of the cost, no one will go to the extent to anticipate your needs more than we will.
