We have rented many vacation homes over the years, but this one exceeded all expectations. The home has been recently redone and the finishes and furnishings are just beautiful. We stayed with extended family--7 of us. There was plenty of room for everyone both to have their own space or to gather in the great room overlooking Lake Tahoe. What a gorgeous setting! And just steps from the water. We spent much time just sitting on the deck or the beach and taking in the spectacular views. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The long and lovely bar next to the kitchen has a wide variety of glassware (but alas, no beach-friendly plastic), as well as a beverage fridge and an ice maker, so you can enjoy the frozen version of that pure water Lake Tahoe is known for.All beds and furniture were quite comfy. A favorite spot was the third-floor loft, with high windows looking over the lake, two cozy twin beds, and a cute bathroom with shower. That bedroom became our go-to spot for napping or reading.The bathrooms are all quite small, but there are three, and one of them has a tub/shower/toilet with a vanity sink on each side. We just loved this place and hope to return in the future!

We were contacted via text promptly by the RnR team and they offered us this property.The property was really great! Amazing views, great communal space, and well stocked kitchen. Fantastic property. Can't be closer to the lake unless you are staying on a boat. Kids loved the pool, spa, lake, restaurants and shops nearby. Was a great place in an amazing location. Driven by this location more times than I can count and wish I would have stayed sooner.

Dream condo, location and overall experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We highly recommend this condo. This is our second time staying in this condo. The remodel that was completed is beautiful. It is absolutely spectacular. Exactly as described and youcannot beat the location. The vacation rental company did a fabulous job communicating. We always treat our stays as if it was our own property and encourage others to do the same. That way owners will continue to rent out their beautiful properties for others to enjoy. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay and to R and R rental management for making it a very pleasant experience.

Amazing view and close to everything

I stayed here with friends for a ski weekend at Heavenly. The view is unbeatable! The pantry was stocked well with essentials for cooking. We comfortably fit 8 adults and all enjoyed the property.

Knock-out views

We enjoyed our stay in the place on the lake, and never got tired of sitting and chatting with that view always front and center. We’ll be back!

It is very close to the pool, hot tub and fire pits. The development is convenient to CVS, While Foods, Safeway and many restaurants. We were so pleased with our stay and would definitely return and request this unit.

This was the best experience we’ve had at Lake Tahoe. RNR was professional, accommodating, responsive, and very pleasant. Facility was recently renovated and clean and in a perfect location. Well use RNR again.

Very Bear-y

The property and view were beautiful, we were just surprised that there are bears living in the complex! One night, a bear ripped open our bear box, and feasted on our in n out leftovers. Lovely house, and very cozy. Awesome hosts as well. Definitely recommend! Just be aware of bears :)

Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. For future guests to note, the pictures of the unit are updated and accurate. Also, the outdoor deck seats 4 people comfortably around the table. Great Lakefront Unit with Awesome Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family of 10 rented this unit and really enjoyed it. The place easily slept us all. We loved hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching sunsets. The place looks just like the pictures and has a well equipped kitchen. Management was very responsive to all communications. Keep in mind that the beach is open to all guests at the complex. It was busy over the 4th of July weekend but we didn't mind and could always get a seat (plus we had the deck). The rest of the week was not crowded. If we return to Tahoe we will definitely book this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: With the exception of ants inside and out as well as the high window not having a shade to block the intense sun during an extremely hot week for Tahoe, our overall stay was very nice. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The late check in and early check out times also took a couple days away from the overall stay which was disappointing.

The home had everything we needed to relax, make a good meal, enjoy the lake/beach daily, and much more. We enjoyed our stay very much. Lakeland Village was close to everything including shopping, groceries, and eats. We spent time on the beach daily and even walked to Heavenly area for lunch one day. Trails are infinite all around. Casino fun was also a plus. Horseback riding in Zephyr Cove and Parasailing at Ski Run are definitely a plus. RnR is always a pleasure to book though. Great communication. Would defineitly recommend staying here
