Incredible farm retreat surrounded by nature and peace! It was so nice having our dogs with us as well! Janet was an incredible host and very helpful regarding recommendations and offers to explore the property! We would love to come back if she’d have us!

The cabin was great for two people! The hot tub was so nice! Janet was an amazing host by letting us enjoy her farm and animals!

750 sq feet but a cathedral ceiling makes it a grand retreat for two. Glad you found the hiking trails to the farm right outside you front door! You were excellent guests, come again!

I think you meant to write, "Janet was welcoming and provided lots of information about the area," because that is what I do to be a sort of concierge service to advise vacationers on the best places to see. Yes, everyone loves that multi spring mattress made by Kingsdown. "Passions Chandlerville Eurotop"I bought one for myself first, then wanted the best for this special cabin! Glad you liked the sleep you got!

Janet was an excellent communicator from the point of booking. The cabin was nicely furnished, cozy fireplace gas logs and clean. A comfortable stay -wait -did I mention the Hot tub after walking all day!! We hope to return.

Cozy fireplace is right! I could just sit and stare all day at it with the twinkle lights on the mantle. AND, we also have a Weber grill out near the hot tub that I hope you found. Come again! Janet

What a great little cabin. My wife and I visited the Ashville area for a weekend getaway and rented the "Heavenly Hideaway" on the Peterson's "Cloud 9 Farm". The owners were very communicative and accommodating. The cabin was spotless and had every amenity we needed. The gas fireplace was perfect for the chilly evenings. We wished we'd had time to explore more of the beautiful 200 acres of their farm.

Yes that Mendota gas log fireplace astounds everyone with the height of the flame and the amount of heat it puts out on these chilly nights. Thanks for noting how spotless the cabin is! Relax

Great, everything I wanted in a relaxing trip. The host gave us a tour of the farm. The cabin is near Biltmore and Ashville, so location is excellent. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We are hoping to return next year with our family for a stay, because our grandkids are going to love the farm.

Oh, you liked the tour in the golf cart (which renters also have use of for a small fee)? To those that want the "native" tour, I love to tell the history of the farm going back to the 1960's when my family purchased this eroded, soil-depleted property to turn it into the fertile valley it is today with our mountain top rentals overlooking it all. We look forward to having your family here!

A beautiful and peaceful place to get away to. The rural and scenic setting is truly beautiful. Compliments to Janet, the property owner who really goes out of her way to open the property to visitors and provide all the comforts of home!

Everything about this stay was amazing. Janet was an outstanding, and we were so lucky to have her show us around the farm and help out with the animals. It truly was a highlight of the visit. The cabin was perfect - it was clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The back deck a wonderful place to relax, and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after a day of hiking and touring Asheville. We will definitely book with Janet and Cloud 9 again in the future!

Hygge home with lots of touches of comfort and ambience. Host has put lots of thoughtful touches throughout the home to be your home away from home. Enjoyed grilling dinner and hot tub. Nice fire pit stocked with wood. Very private and wooded landscape behind back porch. The farm is nice as well.

I'm glad you got away for an even for such a short time. Sounds like you recharged by the fire pit. Yes, we have plenty of "FREE" wood for the fire pit thanks to Hurricane Helene. Of course it did take a huge amount of effort to get it out of the woods with a tractor, chainsaw it and split it. But we pride ourselves in keeping wood well stocked because we know the relaxation that staring at a fire brings! Come again!

Loved this Little Spot

Perfect place for a quick resting spot to get away from all the hectic things in life. We enjoyed our stay so much and plan to return for a longer amount of time.

Romantic Getaway

Amazing Stay!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the farm. Got to feed the cows, pick raspberries and relax in the hot tub. Couldn't be happier.

Perfect Place for Peace & Quiet

Our cabin was exactly as described. The setting is beautiful, and our host was wonderful. We loved the seclusion and quiet, yet we were not far from downtown Asheville, The Biltmore, The Billy Graham Training Center, and many wonderful places to hike. Check-in was easy. Wi-Fi worked well. Hot tub was great after days spent hiking/walking. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

We are glad you noticed the peace and quiet because this is our most unique cabin. No other houses in site! One renter thought they needed their hearing checked because; when was the last time you heard nothing? Please come again!

Heavenly Hideaway Apr 2025

Loved it! Met all expectations and served as our base to do home shopping in Asheville area. Hot tub on balcony overseeing Buzzard Roost and woods was a favorite.

The perfect place

We needed a place close to Fairview and this was a gem to find. Trails right from the house. A wonderful working farm to hear and see. Beautiful surroundings and the host was easy to reach. The cabin had everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

This is excellent for anyone wanting to be relatively close to the city but still have a quite place to stay. House was great for 2 people and everything about the home was in great condition.
