Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. We had a friends reunion over a weekend. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Location was easy to find.

Squires Girls family vacay

The home is beautiful and the location was perfect. We are all flat landers from the SC coast.. This property was centrally located for all our adventures. Also, home was well equipped for our needs. Thanks for sharing your home with my family.

Winter Weekend with family

This home was beautiful and beautifully equipped. We spent our 35th anniversary there with our adult kids. Very comfortable and the kids enjoyed playing pool. Did some hiking at Gorges State Park and snow tubing at Sapphire. Highly recommend!

Wonderful family getaway

Everyone loved the house. Beds are very comfortable! Game cabinet was well stocked. Upstairs loft is amazing and everyone fought over the shower there! Got to see bears twice, once during the day and once at night! Definitely enjoyed!

Wow what a view!

The pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of bedrooms- wonderful fireplaces and big open kitchen and family room with an incredible view. The downstairs is almost like its own space where kids hung out so adults could hang upstairs. Pool table was a bonus and beds were really comfortable. Close to everything and we tubed at Saphirre Valley Ski and then used the amenity cards for 5 dollars to use indoor heated pool and hot tub. Check in and check out were easy!

Lovely Tree House

Spent a week here…. For our 3 grown children, their spouses and a grandson, the layout was close to perfect. It says 4 bedrooms but with the loft, it’s really 5 BR with a bathroom on each floor. We found the kitchen nicely stocked with all the conveniences of home and the house to be comfortable. Although lacking a summertime far reaching view, sitting amongst the tree tops was equally grand. Loved the screened in porch! The location was easily accessible and close to major roads and a grocery. We thought it was the perfect place for us!

Issues

Air conditioning was broken/not working and despite being told HVAC service would be provided they never came. We had to spend a significant amount of time troubleshooting one of the mini split units, another mini split stopped working, and the central air never really worked. Additionally, the dryer did not work at all and we were not informed of this ahead of time. We showed up and there was a note that it was broken. So, with a house full of kids we had no way to wash and dry clothes.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - When we were notified of the A/C issues, we immediately contacted multiple HVAC companies but unfortunately couldn’t secure service as quickly as we’d hoped, which we understand was very frustrating. - The dryer issue arose the same day you arrived, and we acknowledge that leaving a note instead of notifying you ahead of time wasn’t the best approach. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, especially for a group with kids. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Mom's 60th birthday weekend

I have 6 siblings and we were all able to stay along with my parents, brother in law and one nephew (11 people total) and had a great time! The house was wonderful and has a great layout. We enjoyed everything with the only negative being that the loft king bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress topper but all the other beds were without a topper and were uncomfortable. Otherwise no complaints!

Excellent experience

The pictures do not do this property justice. Besides the fact that it is beautiful and clean, it is also extremely well stocked with linens, kitchen items, and even toiletries. We wanted for nothing. The community and recreation centers are about a 10 minute drive away on winding roads and offer a variety of activities. A few activities (skiing, tubing, and boating) were not available due to time of year, but between hiking, day trips, ziplining, the fitness center, the pool/hot tubs/saunas, and the other recreational amenities, we found more to do than we could do during our stay.
