Casa Bella A in Oakland's Historic Temescal 1 bk to Telegraph Ave 3 bks to BART.
This is a roomy two bedroom apartment on the ground level with 2 small decks, one off of the master bedroom so that you can sit outside with your morning coffee with privacy. This apartment has more privacy because it opens in the front - whereas the other Guest apartments open in the back.
The location is great - one block to the Historic Temescal Village, with lots of shops and cafes and a Peets Coffee House, Post Office and 24/7 Walgreens - never know when you get the muchies at 3 am or need some over-the-counter med! It is a busy commercial street - but reasonably quiet at night - with little traffic. But there is noise on trash days.
One parking space for a car - no trucks or oversized vehicles. Street parking anywhere in SF or Oakland is risky. BART (rapid transit) is 8 blocks; car rental is 3 blocks.
Very easy by bus to UCB - about 1-1/2 miles
Please read entire listing before inquiring. Sorry no pets. No late night check in. 7 days min stay; 30 days max stay. No extensions or long term stays. No 3rd party booking. Please tell about yourselves, your reasons for coming to Oakland and at what time you will arrive. There is a 30 min Orientation on arrival before going into the apt so, all Guest must arrive together. No late night check in after 6 pm. If arriving late from a flight, it is best to stay the first night at the airport. FYI: I decline Traveler who do not disclose info - this is a private compound and I screen for following instrucitons.

When you arrive there is a 20-30 minute "orientation" in which ALL guests are expected to participate. It is important. Problems with vacation guest have generally been with those who did not participate in the orientation. I am not open to late night arrivals. If you are flying in late, it is best to stay at the airport the first night. Always try to fly into Oakland. if possible, because it is way easier and faster than SF.

Who is with you and how you are related to one another. Where are yo coming from and what brings you to Oakland? What will you be doing when here? The more you share about yourselves, the better.

Casa Bella is in my personal compound.. My house is separate. Inside I have two cats and two small dogs. I have other rentals near by that are all unfurnished, yearly leases. I prefer turn over here. Casa Bella is good for short term because of it's great location - everything is right here. From time to time there are events in the Historic Temescal Village - which is one block away.
There is one parking space in the parking lot. - no trucks or over-sized vehicles. However, it is easy to be here without a car. High "walkability neighborhood". The BART - subway - is 7-10 min walk. Lots of buses and a rental car lot 2 blocks away. Historic Temescal Village with lots of shops and cafes is just one block.
