THIS UNIT IS RENTED AS A 2 BEDROOM, 1 BATHROOM APARTMENT - OWNERS LIVE NEXT DOOR WHEN IN TOWN ** Charming home located on a quiet street with an oversize fenced yard. This freshly painted unit provides an open floor plan with plenty of natural light, complete with beautiful terrazzo floors. Updated kitchen with new cabinets and appliances including dishwasher and built in microwave. Includes Wifi and Amazon Fire TV in both bedrooms and Living Room. Only 3.5 miles from Manasota Key and less than 10 miles from Casey Key. Pets are welcome, for an additional fee, subject to insurance carrier approval of breed(s). * Bikes on site but NOT included in the rental - use at your own risk. Shamrock park is a short (1.1 mile) bike ride away, with tennis courts, basketball courts and biking/walking paths along the inner coastal. Watch the planes take off and land at Venice airport, see the dolphins swim, and take in the beautiful sunsets. Your pets will appreciate the location too, as we are only 3 miles from Woodmere Dog Park and 5 miles from Brohard Paw Dog Beach Park. Close to MLB spring training for Braves and Orioles... PLEASE NOTE: HONEY BEES LIVE IN A SECLUDED AREA OF THIS PROPERTY.

Great place to stay!

This was a perfect place to stay for my husband, daughter, and I. It’s located within 20 minutes of 3-4 beaches, which made it perfect driving distance to see all of them. Laura is very responsive and great to communicate with !

Great stay!

We arrived in the middle of the night and the owner left the porch light on for us. They also answered our call when we couldn’t figure out the thermostat. We had all the kitchen supplies we needed to make home cooked meals. Water pressure was good and furniture, including beds, were comfortable. The location was a short drive to everything we wanted to see and do. I mentioned to the owner that my daughter wanted me to bring home a coconut and they gave me one. They really went above and beyond to make our stay great!

Wonderful stay central to family visit

This was a great place to stay to visit our family spread across the area. It's a quiet neighborhood with easy access to 41 and I-75.

Great Location!

We loved staying close enough to our favorite beach (Blind Pass) yet we were also super close to all of my favorite stores and restaurants. Easy access to everything. Was a nice place for a quick getaway.

Venice Beach Stay

This property was pretty much as described. Home was very clean and check in was a breeze, the only issue we had were the ants, but that is an easy fix. Also, there is no control of the AC, it is not allowed to go below 74 degrees which in the summer is makes it a little warm.. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Escaping the cold

The property owner is a tremendous host. Goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as nice as advertised. Beds are comfortable, the home is clean, and the location is close to many nice beaches.

Convenient to all the best spots!

The house is very clean. The location close to Venice and all the nearby beaches. We had a great stay over Labor Day. The yard was great for our dog. Overall wonderful stay.

Fantastic Property in a Quiet Neighborhood

This is a very clean and up to date apartment. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc. You are provided with one roll of paper towels, so you may need to buy more, depending on the length of your stay. (This also applies to the toilet paper...1 roll for your stay.) There are no condiments or spices kept at the property. If you will use aluminum foil or plastic wrap, you will need to bring that, too. Keep that in mind when shopping for your meals. The location of this property is just a few minutes from Venice Beach and downtown Venice. There is a nature park nearby. Great for walking. You will love watching the birds in the backyard and out front. Many different species, big and small! The apartment is cozy, welcoming, and CLEAN! The beds are comfortable and the shower is roomy. There are 3 tvs in the apartment with a variety of programming options. The host makes the whole process easy and enjoyable. Great choice for a long or short stay in Venice.

Had a few issues with the stay.

The first morning that we woke up they had begun construction on the house. The front pergola was taken down & they jack hammered the sidewalk & porch on the front of the house. Also when we arrive the owner had a cat & she told me that the pervious tenant loved her cats & they would let her cat come in the house. That was a huge problem for us since my husband is allergic to cats. He had to take medication the whole time we were there. Have always enjoyed our stays at VRBO's but this was not the greatest.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, well equipped, great location, etc. Our host, Laura was a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with. Clean and nicely decorated interior! Beds were very comfortable!! Owner lives in attached apartment. Curb appeal was a bit lacking. We enjoyed our two week stay!

Nice quiet location

Had no Wi-Fi was the only problem. The area was nice, my dogs enjoyed the yard to play. Able to hand up my dive gear to dry for the next day. The owner was very nice.

Good time after IAN

This is a nice property close to everything. Neat and clean; no issues at all. We had a small snafu with the door lock but the owner was very responsive and the fix was fast. Brought our dog and the yard worked out well even though IAN blew down some of the fence. No Ian damage here - great value!

Your comfort and satisfaction is extremely important to us. We make every effort to provide a clean, comfortable environment that you will want to come back to. We would rather be in our Venice home than anywhere on earth and hope you will enjoy it too.
