Tim we had a wonderful stay. Cant beat the location and off season was a dream. One bathroom mid level had a toilet shut off and kept running so we shut it off again. We had brown water but town was flushing hydrants. Well appointed home with everything we needed. Great place to stay for families! I would highly recommend!

Family/friends get away

House was very nice and well appointed! We were all comfortable hanging in the living area! Beautiful ocean views from upper deck and windows!! Our families had a wonderful time! Used the pool and hot tub. Great house and great time!

Perfect Week!

What The Shell was the perfect place for a family vacation. Really convenient to the beach. The house layout was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate a lot of our meals at the house and we never ran out of dishes. The pool/hot tub was great. The views from the decks were perfect! The turtle pond was a fun spot for the kids. Very convenient location to restaurants/stores, etc. We loved it and We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much!

The hot tub was nice. My kitchen was well stocked. Maybe list more of items that you have. I had asked the management about a crockpot and they didn't know. I definitely wouldn't have packed one. They have some beach toys and bogey boards, but we were unaware of that. Overall the place was very nice and we made a lot of fun memories

Lovely house, didn't care for Carolla, too built up and nothing to do

House needs a deep clean to include air return vents which are filthy. Also windows not clean, The entrance door was full of streaks, hand prints, very off putting, In general very nice place but cleaning team needs to be evaluated,

Claudia, We regret you did not care for your stay in Corolla. It is a very popular area that is secluded, which is the charm of the area. As for your comments on the cleaning not meeting your expectations we apologize and regret you did not have the experience of a superbly clean property which is what we normally provide.

Great House. Perfect location right on the beach. Easy to pop out to the grocery store and walk down to ice cream in the evening. Lots of seating in the main living area was great. Kids area in the basement worked really well for our teens. Plenty of bathrooms. Wifi needs more range to make the top level TV not buffer, but we let them know. Cleaners were a little rushed it appears, but we also let them know they could have done a better job. Hard to see the beach itself from the top floor due to the dunes, but you could still see the ocean. Overall great vacation.
