Unit is very small. Front view is of the parking lot & back view is of the roof. Balcony was shared with other renters, 2 of whom we're heavy smokers.

Short stay

Overall it was okay for a short stay and only a couple people. The bed was comfortable but I think there could be some better living room furniture I know it's small we just ended up going to bed.

Just what we needed

This place was just what we needed. We were only in the room a small amount of time because the location to the beach was awesome! We enjoyed the walk ability to John’s Pass! Thanks Kathy

Great Location

You can’t beat this location. Right across the street from John’s Pass, right on the gulf beach. This was such a great location. There are some quirks with being this close to John’s Pass but you are also right on the beach and that made it so nice.

Worked out great

Everything was great here, my only complaint was about the AC usage. It’s impossible to have it not below 76 or 74 to sleep comfortably. It wouldn’t have been as bad if there was a fan in the bedroom but without it, gets a bit stuffy. However everything else was just as I expected and would definitely recommend or attempt to stay again.

Location location location

This condo was right in the heart of John’s Pass. Everything was in walking distance. It is short on amenities, and keeping the room at 76 as requested did not keep the room cool enough. We had to dig out the box fan in the closet. The pool temperature was perfect, it did not feel like bath water, very refreshing. Umbrellas by a few of the recliners in the pool area is needed. Overall it was a good experience.

Nice Weekend Beach Couples Getaway

Staying on the beach can get quite pricey. This is a nice place to get away and not break the bank. Located right across the street from John's Pass Village where there's shops and dining.

Location location location!

This place is perfect for a couple I would not recommend children as it’s quite small. My boyfriend and I came and stayed for the weekend for my birthday and it was perfect for just that! It’s located directly across from John’s Pass which was perfect for us and the beach is not forever away from the hotel like in other parts of this area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Convenient

Room was quite small but nice. One thing we didnt like was there was no restroom near the pool & you had to go back to your room everytime you needed to use the bathroom. Our neighbor even agreed that people were probably using the pool!

Wonderful pool and location

Loved staying at Surfsong just little old and not super clean. Pool big and clean. Right on beach. Need to powerwash balcony dirt where you put feet sitting on chairs. We loved our stay at Surfsong would come again.

Great location, beach and pool. Small accommodations. Furnishings old. Kitchen well equipped but too

Needs updating. Called owner about roaches, said she would check with complex about next spraying. Never responded back. I bought roach spray to deter them.

Nice getaway

Maderia Beach Condo

The location was awesome! Right on the beach and right across the street from John's Passing which had a lot of restaurants. The view from the room was not ideal as the air conditioning units block the beach, but the pics in the description are fairly accurate. The room and bathroom feel very tight, even for two people with luggage and everything... but if you aren't spending much time in the room you should be okay. The place could have been cleaned a little better. I did find hair on a washcloth and in the shower. Also the cooking utensils weren't very clean either so we really didn't use too much. Overall this was an okay unit and met our needs for a short stay.

Perfect Location

The location and ease of the property is unbeatable. We didn’t explore the property itself due to weather but the room was all we needed, we were able to walk to everything, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, great experience.

Amazing place

It was great location, right on the beach and just accrost the street from John's pass! Very clean.. only downfall is the short shower head.. with a husband who is 6'5 it was a touch of a hassel.. but would totally book again! And will refer friends to stay here.

Excellent choice!

Our host, Kathy, has the cutest little slice of Heaven here! The condo was immaculately clean and stocked with all the comforts of home. She didn’t skip a beat with providing everything we needed during our stay. Having a fully equipped kitchen saves tons of money when booking a place on the beach. Both beds were amazingly comfortable. Kathy and her staff provided excellent communication both before and during our stay. This place even comes with beach chairs and beach / pool towels for your convenience. The condo grounds and pool were beautiful, clean and even have grills that we used to cook dinner one of the nights during our stay. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!
