This waterfront Property has direct backyard access into Lake Simcoe. The entry to the water is shallow in our little cove — making it safe for small children, however gets fairly deep once exited.

Explore the water with our provided SUP boards & kayaks. The lake water is perfect for all sorts of water activities (e.g. jet-ski/sea-doo, boating, kite-surfing, fishing, sailing, waterskiing — equipment not provided). We are 1-minute away from Thorah Centennial Park where guests can launch off their water-crafts.

A total of 3 parking spaces on the property. Open concept living area with a fireplace and TV. Complete working kitchen amenities are included — e.g. stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher, air-fryer, etc. Complimentary tea & coffee provided.

We invested in our favourite mattresses to create a comfortable environment for our guests. See below for details on our Bedrooms arrangements:
○ Bedroom #1: King bed
○ Bedroom #2: Queen bed with Twin pullout
○ Bedroom #3: Two double over double bunk beds — 4 double mattresses in total. We can accommodate for an airbed upon request.

Our backyard deck is fully furnished with a Weber BBQ grill, an outdoor dining table & seating area. Walk out on the dock for a gorgeous view of the lake. Better yet, bring over our Adirondack chairs to lounge & enjoy sunrise/set views with your morning coffee or evening wine. Whether chilling on the hammock, keeping warm by the campfire, or soaking in our 6-persons hot tub, you’ll be sure to create the best memories with your friends & family.

While we are pleased to offer access to our hot tub, we want to be transparent and inform our guests that occasional malfunctions or maintenance needs may cause the hot tub to be unavailable. While these events are rare, they can occur and are beyond our control as hosts. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds or deductions in the event of hot tub downtime.

We would like to emphasize that our home offers many other amenities and features that we hope you will enjoy during your stay. We understand that the hot tub may be a highlight for some guests, but we encourage you to consider the overall experience our home offers.

We believe it is important to set realistic expectations for our guests and to be upfront about any potential limitations of our amenities. We appreciate your understanding and hope you have a wonderful stay at our home.

Please note, before staying at this Property, you will be required to sign a Code of Conduct.

The Property has security cameras placed in the front parking lot area/entrance & backyard area. The hot tub is blacked out for your privacy. All cameras are in view. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests/pets sneaking in, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Monitoring is limited to incidents and/or complaints.

Here you have lots of problems with water and your privacy
Firstly,the cottage was extremely cold. It would have been better if the owner had checked the heating system prior to our arrival, as it took a significant amount of time for the cottage to warm up. However, the biggest problem we encountered was with the water supply. When ten people are renting a place, it is important to consider their needs for bathing, using the toilets, and doing laundry and dishes. Unfortunately, the condition of the cottage was not suitable for accommodating these requirements. We faced a situation where after using the bathroom twice, there was no water available for approximately one hour. This lack of water availability made it extremely difficult for us to plan our daily bathing routines and caused significant inconvenience. To make matters worse, the information about the water situation was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. The mention of a septic tank in the introduction email was not sufficient to understand that the water supply would be cut off after two people used the bathroom. As a result, our children ended up trapped in the bath for an hour and a half, and we had to resort to using boiled water to wash them. This experience was nothing short of a disaster. The noise from passing trains was quite annoying, especially during the night, as it disturbed our sleep. Finally, she checks camera without our permission, it is unbelievable that she can checks you when you are in hottub with your partner.

The moment you step in you feel peace within . You never want to leave .
It’s a small retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle in the big city but still close to the city . Home away from home truly .
As we grow older all we want to do is make memories with lots of photos that last a lifetime , things to look back at and talk about that one time aunt may was making fart noises by the fireplace lol where we can watch out kids enjoy the wilderness being outdoors then on their gadgets all the time .
This place wouldn’t disappoint , come see Southside for yourself ;)
