House was clean, host was very friendly and easy to get ahold of. Only downside was not being able to use the boat lift. Otherwise, was a great time. Thank you!

Up Nort’ Lake House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year at Up Nort’. It’s a very nice house that we enjoyed returning to. The house is clean and comfortable. We liked the layout of the place. Someone took time to think about what you use on a daily basis and provided amenities that were appreciated. And North Twin Lake is clear which we enjoyed.

Phenomenal stay

This property is so clean, from bedding to the kitchen. The rooms are large and comfortable. The yard is great and the doc works perfect to fish from or have a boat. We loved everything about this property.

Nice place

We enjoyed our well long stay - it was a very nice property! We do wish the main master bedroom would have had the same mattress topper that the downstairs beds have - it was pretty firm. Again, a very nice property with a great view!

Walters/Kunzes/Madlands

The house was beautiful & spotless! The set up fit our needs with my husband & myself plus two grown daughters with their families. We included three young children, ages 4 & two 2 year olds. We appreciated the infant furniture/dishes & the picture books were wonderful! Thank you for a lovely vacation at your summer home!

Up Norte Doesn't Disappoint!

LOVED this place! I grew up about an hour away from Phelps and Eagle River and we wanted a place on the water to get the fam together for a long weekend...just a 20 minute ride away from Eagle River, Up Norte felt like we were remote in all the best ways!! The property is stunning and the small town and convenience store had all the charm you'd hope from a small town. The property manager was extremely helpful as was everyone we interacted with during our stay from the boat rental to the waterfront gas station Highly recommend...just not on a week that conflicts with our next stay 😉

Beautiful Location, Lovely Home

The lake views/access are wonderful, and the home itself is warm and charming. We found it easy to drive to town for entertainment and shopping. We only had a couple of small issues, which may not affect every renter. We have a number of allergy sufferers in our group, and we could not avoid dog hair - on rugs, blankets, etc. It clung to our clothes. Again, this may not be an issue for many. We also experienced the Swimmer's Itch from the lake that the owner thankfully explained in their very thorough binder of information and rules. If either of these are concerns for your family, just pack some Benadryl! The only other hiccup was that the Vrbo listing says Check-In is at 3 PM and Checkout is at 10 AM. My reservation also said this. However communication from the owner said Check-In at 4 PM and Checkout at 9 AM - and the cleaners were there waiting for us to get out at 9 AM, so that was kind of a bummer. Hopefully the Vrbo listing will be updated by the time of this review, so there's no future confusion. We really did enjoy staying there. It's a beautiful home.

Great Lakeside Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are repeat visitors to this property. This is a superior lakeside home, which is very comfortable and well appointed. The lake is beautiful and is great for fishing. We even landed a 3 pound 18+ inch bass from the pier. We will very likely be back (again).

Exceptional Property; Ideal Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an exceptional property in an ideal location, regardless of season. We booked the property for a snowmobile vacation. Up Nort' Retreat is on North Twin Lake which has multiple trails that go across the lake surface. This allowed us to access the Eagle River and Phelps trail systems from the lake side of the house. The house is very modern, was immaculately clean, and was very comfortable. The house has floor heat (which is very nice to have in winter), a beautiful living room, and a fully-stocked gourmet kitchen. The beds are new and are very comfortable. We have stayed here last summer -- and the location was perfect then, and is perfect in winter. We've already booked again for this coming summer and we are very much looking forward to coming back.
