The house is super cute, surrounded by so much history, and very convenient to outer banks and various beaches without all the hustle and bustle. We loved our stay!

Very nice place! There wasn't a firepit and the grill didn't work which was disappointing but overall great stay.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! The fire pit is a bit farther back in the yard (behind the large flower bed) to take advantage of the water views. We will take a look at the grill and make sure it is working, thanks for the heads up.

Well located and within driving distance to many attractions to see and do at the Outer Banks. Took ferry to Knotts Island and other local areas! Perfect for a family getaway.

Perfect place for family stay

Very nice nostalgic house in excellent condition. Nice sized bedrooms with a front and back porch with awesome views of the sunrise and ferry. Check in process was great and the house was spotless. Will for sure be back for another stay.

Great location, beautiful historic home

I stayed here because of its proximity to the ferry, it’s perfect if you’re wanting to explore nuts Island in the surrounding areas. Not only was this listing exactly as the photo showed, but it was even better than I had imagined. The entire home and its surrounding area is charming. I will definitely stay again.

We totally enjoyed staying in this quaint, cozy home. This location was very convenient for us as it was a short drive to my daughter's house and easy on and off Rt. 168. I enjoyed waking up early and getting to see the sunrise sitting in the living room as this house is right on the Sound. Great little restaurant a short walk down the road. I would totally stay here again.

Good location for exploring the Outer Banks

We chose this property as we had never been to the Outer Banks area previously. The home was very nice & we were within a good distance of all the areas we wanted to see. The host was very helpful with offering dining recommendations also. We thoroughly enjoyed the home & the area.

Absolutely loved sitting on the front porch. The house was very charming, quaint and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and dishes we needed.

Very centrally located to the Caratoke Hwy that provides access up and down this charming area. House is very well presented and decorated to enhance your stay. Great Get Away Spot!!!
