Pet friendly Cabin stocked up with all the essentials. I must say we loved having a hot coco with vegan marshmallows and looking at the dogs playing!

Compact, comfortable, relaxed. Everything worked, easy access and the hosts provided heaps of edibles and entertainment. Highly recommend

Great place to unwind and relax. Everything you need for a short stay, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Our dog Gracie had a wonderful time exploring the property. We will be back!

A lovely getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was well catered and provisioned. Being pet-friendly was a bonus and we were provided a pet pack for our dog.

Wonderful Stay

Dutjiya Mang is located in perfect location to visit some of the Goldfields towns. We enjoyed the lovely cottage and the birdlife that surrounds it. Our dog also found the place an interesting place to be. Highly recommend it.

Nice and neat property in a good location. Nice visits to Maldon, Castlemaine and Newstead. Dinner at Crown Hotel was excellent.

Fantastic Little Spot!

Well equipped little cottage on a spacious, serene block. Has everything you need for a weekend stay. Great base to explore the Goldfields area from. Red was a fantastic host!

Relaxing Getaway

Red and Patrick have set up a lovely getaway at Dutjiya Mang. Nice and quiet, really well set up and decorated cottage. Nice area close drive to the surrounding towns and different hikes etc. Really communicative and friendly hosts, they have organised a great getaway

Great location, great hosts

Really enjoyed the property and the location - we were attending a wedding nearby and couldn't have gotten any closer! Check in was super easy and the hot choc waiting for us was a lovely touch. I found Red to be incredibly responsive and understanding, and thank them for the experience.

Perfect time !!

We really liked the experience there. All things in the cottage are connected with good vibes and energy. Totally privacy and very peaceful location. Amazing house. Very nice hosts. It is a perfect place to be.

The cottage has a welcoming feel, a very comfortable bed and thoughtful provisions.Hosts were extremely helpful & easy to contact. With only a toaster & microwave indoors the options for meals were limited. We were not comfortable using the outside gas cooking facilities given the dry conditions & total fire ban.

Very rustic, had everything we needed for us and our two Labradors. Games, books, instructions provided..loved the outdoor area. Recommend for two people wishing a relaxing holiday.

You said neibours a cemetry next door loved the bush .

Was great my dog like running around 2 acres but was warn out at end q3 months loved the cottage .

Lovely cottage, looks just like the photos. Check in was very easy. The bed was comfortable, water pressure in shower was good, and the kitchenette has everything you need for a short stay. Sandon is 20 mins away from everything, so perfect for exploring the area. My only feedback was that when I arrived the cottage was freezing. The heating works very well, but it did take several hours for it to warm up. I would stay here again.

Charming Sandon VIC

Lovely area between Newstead and Yandoit--explored hiking through back roads and forest. Unique in that Sandon is peaceful and undeveloped except for traffic on the Newstead Road, unfortunately affecting most towns now. If you are looking for land in a lovely peaceful setting this is for you--only 30 minute drive from the thriving groovy town of Daylesford. Hosts were excellent.

Excellent little home away.

My partner, Dog and I both enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely little cabin with nice amenities, situated on a peaceful pet friendly property. We both enjoyed the resourceful theme of the property utilising environmentally friendly and resources found on and around the property. We also have discovered a fond taste for a new type of ketchup 😌 Red and Patrick were great hosts, great communication, very polite and friendly. Also thankyou again for the gift for my partner's belated birthday. Will recommend to anyone and happy to return again.

We had a lovely restful peaceful time. The cabin was cosy and had the essentials. The chickens came to visit and that was cute . We gave the place 4 stars for cleanliness only because the cushions outside had leaves and dust on them, and there were cobwebs on furniture etc. It did not bother us, as its a cabin in the woods! But it might bother others...We strolled near dams & olive groves and enjoyed the hike through the Rise & Shine wildlife sanctuary. We didn't see or hear the barking owls but there's plenty of other birds. It's an easy 2 hr drive from Melbourne and we enjoying exploring the neighbouring areas like Maldon and the views fromMt Terrangower.Jennifer & Scott
