Little Park Road Retreat - Hot Tub with a View

The home is located on 2 acres just 5 minutes from downtown, but feels like you're out in the country. The panoramic views are spectacular & ever changing. The sunrise over the Mesa makes the morning hangout on the porch a great way to start the day. Just as impressive would be watching the changing colors on the Bookcliffs while maybe grilling during the sunset. Hiking and biking trails surround the house with access to the lunch Loops Trails nearby. The house has an open feeling, with beautiful stone and woodwork. There is plenty of room for you, your friends & family on the 1,000 square foot concrete patio (with an 8 person hot tub) overlooking the Grand Valley. A large laundry/mud room offers safe storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment. Pets are welcome to stay for a $60 fee and the outside has a fenced in back yard.

Amazing views & location

The house is freaking amazing. the views unbelievable... like seriously we couldn't stop looking. The wildlife and birds were a delight. We saw baby quails and OMG are they adorable! Todd was very accommodating and so kind to walk us through the property and give recommendations. Again the views ... the views..... the views. The house has everything you need to cook I made a gourmet dinner and needed nothing from a spice, pot and utensil standpoint. The hot tub is delightful! We spent a ton of time in there while enjoying the views. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!!

Our Vacation at the Little Park Retreat

The house is located in a very peaceful setting. The host/hostess ensured that our stay was enjoyable. The house was very well stocked with incidentals and even included shampoo, shower gel, coffee, numerous spices, ketchup, mustard, and more. Thank you, Todd and Sophorn!

Slice of Serenity

This property is perfect....everything one needs inside the house, lovely fauna, wildlife, bird-watching, sitting to see the gorgeous sunset and just flat listen to the quietness that surrounds the outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves because this paradise was away from our metro city living and noises. This location is near to downtown with its wonderful Main Street and variety of eateries. If a person wants to experience all of the above, then make a reservation NOW.

Great location, nice hot tub, fully stocked, some ongoing construction

This property was in a convenient location to Colorado National Monument and local stores. The views were beautiful, the hot tub was clean and seemed brand new. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plastic wrap, paper towels..even the bathroom had soap, shampoo...suer convenient! The downside was there was some exposed wires/insulation in the ceiling, missing baseboards, rickety/non-existent railings, small holes in the floor/tile, mismatched paint. It wasn't a deal breaker but the house could use some love. Overall it met our needs

Amazing location and beautiful views

We rented for a long weekend of biking. Location is amazing right by the lunch loops and easy access to Ribbon trail. Amazing views from hot tub.

Tranquil Hideaway

Little Park Road Retreat was the perfect spot for our Girls Weekend. Todd was amazing at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We will happily return to the Retreat on our next trip to GJ.

Comfortable and relaxing

Truly a home away from home. It was so nice to be able to access trails for hiking and biking easily and quickly. The view is fantastic. The home itself is clean and comfortable. Todd is great! Willing to make sure your needs are met! Definitely recommend.

Amazing getaway!

If you're looking for the best little place outside of town, this has to be in consideration. From the owner to the property itself, my wife and I had zero complaints. Todd (owner) called me and walked me through how to enjoy the house amenities, such as heated floors, and spa. Where I could find a great hike, and restaurants. Just very good wholesome experience. The property is so beautiful, it's just amazing to watch the sunrise from the spa and just take it all in. Thanks for a great stay!

Best Christmas Ever!!!

We loved staying at this getaway in the mountains of Grand Junction for our Christmas vacation! We were not able to be with family this year but this felt like a home away from home. The host was very gracious and met us when we got there to give us an awesome tour of the property. The hot tub was functional, luxury, and ready to go when we arrived. The place was very well stocked - the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner, including utensils, spices, and cookware. The fire pit outside also had lots of firewood and kindling for us to use. The views were absolutely beautiful and the secluded area made for a very romantic trip. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedroom got dark so we could take naps throughout the day! The TV had many streaming services and we enjoyed many movies on the comfortable sofas. There were also fireplaces inside and a gas grill outside that we didn’t even use, but would like to try on a future visit! Our puppy also really loved running around and getting outside where he had lots of room to roam. Overall we had the best time and this place really made our Christmas special. We hope to be back soon, thank you Todd and Sophorn!!!

Fall getaway

The Little Park Retreat VRBO was a fantastic stay! The house boasts every convenience to provide a home away from home feeling. Great location, clean and the hot tub is a real plus. We had an amazing trip thanks to Todd and Seporn. Thank you both!!!

Perfect house on the mountain

Spectacular all around

Perfect place to stay for the first part of our Colorado Adventures. Easy drives to all the hotspots in this area. Todd was absolutely the best host and very knowledgeable of the area and geographic terrain. The home was impeccably clean, very comfortable and has great views.

Wonderful stay at the Little Park Retreat

Todd was friendly and explained the home specifics and made recommendations for hikes and activities. The home was immaculate with beautiful views and it was entertaining to watch the Gambel’s quail, other birds, and chipmunks. We had such a comfortable stay and will plan to return if we are ever back in the area.

Repeat visit

We stayed with Sophourn and Todd before at this rental and could not be more impressed by their hard work to keep the property top notch and enrich the experience of their guests. The house is super clean and contains all one may need during a stay. The home is in a great location with awesome views. And Grand Junction is a great city with lots of areas ripe for exploration. Every time we come back we add new places on our to explore list. We definitely will be back and cannot recommend a stay at Sophourn and Todd’s rental enough.

My name is Todd and I have been traveling quite extensively for the last 16 or so years mainly in S.E. Asia (Which is where I met my wife Sophorn) to such places as Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia. Other destinations include locations in Mexico, Central America and Peru, South America. After my stint of travel I decided to settle down and grow some roots. Grand Junction with all of it's outdoor activities, wonderful sights and laid back lifestyle fit the bill perfectly. Yeah Western Slope!! It is also situated so there is easy access to other wonderful destinations such as Moab Utah, Powderhorn Ski Resort and the beautiful San Juan Mountain to the south. With all the endless outdoor things to do I have not regretted my decision on location at all.
