Your own private coastal house situated on an oversized lot with all the essentials, nestled conveniently next San Francisco, San Mateo, Half Moon Bay and next to one of the largest protected pieces of land in the area. Stunning filtered views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Montara State Mountain, Montara Beach and the Pacifica Ocean. Please note: Scenery may change according to the seasons. Between the Montara Mountains and Montara State Beach there is over 10,000 acres of open space to roam around this secluded private beach house. Everything in Montara is within walking or biking distance. Wake up to the fresh ocean air and sight and sounds of the Pacific Ocean roaring in the background. Experience the awe-inspiring views of the sun rise over the majestic mountains filled with coastal cypress and rare grasslands. Watch the sunset in Silicon Valley's own hidden paradise. Guest will enjoy the privacy of being the only residence on the premises, situated on an oversized lot.

CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL CLEANING : The Stunning Oceanview Coastal Home enhanced professional cleaning and sanitation process has been certified to minimize the spread of harmful pathogens. Our cleaners have expert-backed training on disinfecting, PPE, and current cleaning protocols. The property has received a cleaning certificate and I.D. which provides guests with verification that our properties are up to date on critical cleaning method guidelines from WHO, CDC, OSHA, and the FDA. #p1p211dh.

PETS: Pets are not allowed on the property without prior approval. Pets absolutely cannot be left unattended at the property. Pet fees and deposits may be required. Breaking this rule will result in immediate eviction.

**An additional pet fee will apply to all reservations that include a pet or multiple pets.**

We came last year after our wedding and this time Came for our last trip before our baby. Love that it is pet friendly, clean, & so close to the beach. Location id central to everything you would need. Will be booking again !

We keep coming back because this has become our pup’s favorite staycation spot. He loves the large yard, watching the trails from the windows, and exploring the nearby beach and hiking trails with us.The home is simple, comfortable, and has everything needed for a few days away. During our last stay, the yard had become overgrown with foxtails, which can be dangerous for dogs. The owners responded quickly and sent a gardener, but the clippings were left behind, so we weren’t comfortable letting our pup run freely.A few improvements, such as working windows for enjoying the ocean breeze and a fire pit in the yard, would make the experience even better. Overall, we love the peaceful feel of Montara and look forward to returning.

Close to the beach, quiet, no issues checking in or out. Bed was super comfortable. Loved looking out at the beach and seeing the water. I could not figure out how to turn the lights on or if they’re were lights at all in the backyard on so taking dogs out at night was a little difficult. The gate at the end of the driveway doesn’t meet the pavement, so if you have smaller dogs will have to watch very closely that they don’t crawl under.

Nice area to be with beaches and hiking. 20-30 minutes to San Francisco. Quiet area for a restful sleep 2 of us. Room for kids also.

Fantastic location

Great place to stay in Montara.

This beautiful studio was the perfect place to stay while we visited Montara! It gave us access to Half Moon Bay, the beaches and Pacifica. The studio was spotlessly clean, well appointed and the view of the mountains and ocean was incredible.

Perfect location

Great location a block from the State beach and a trailhead for hiking and biking with beautiful ocean views. The house is lovely, and quiet with a huge yard and it was great to be able to have my dog with me. Would love to come back again.
