Gated complex with private security guards and deeded parking. Safe, private keyless entry. Seasonal swimming pool and year-round hot tub. Steps to transit, streetcar, Union Station, and light rail with easy airport connections. Located on our city's fantastic Riverwalk trail system with 15+ miles of connections to parks and the city for bicycle and pedestrian use.

There is a railroad nearby, but double insulated walls and soundproofing design elements help to minimize noise. I know it sounds silly to say this, but you get used to the rail noise, and it's not that bad.

Great place on the river!

One of favorites in Portland - we spend the summers in PDX from Palm Springs. The Hosts are great, the condo has everything covered - from all kitchen items to laundry to a Murphy bed for an unexpected guest! Pool and hot tub on the property. Great! distance to all the restaurants in the Pearl D

Wonderful place for longer or shorter stay in Portland!

Great hosts, great location, great apartment! I stayed for 5 weeks in Portland, loved the view onto the river, quiet surroundings, but still close enough to downtown. The train-honking (6-8 times/24h?) is an issue but as long as you are not a light sleeper you should be fine. Karen and Bob provide everything needed to deal with it. I can only and highly recommend this place!

Mixed Experience

A clean, comfortable place with very attentive, friendly owners. The view of the river is great from the balcony. However, if you are a light sleeper (as I am), the regular loud train noise was very problematic. Likewise, if you need to drive south on Naito Parkway, you could be delayed as much as 15 minutes because of a slow train crossing the roadway.

This was the perfect place for our month long stay in Portland

The view outside the sliding glass doors was stunning - watching the boats and birds on the river was so relaxing. The condo was very comfortable and attractive and I was able to work remotely at the desk area near the kitchen.

Apt on the river

Very nice apartment. Karen and Bob were excellent hosts. I enjoyed my month long stay very much. Comfortable, convenient and had all the amenities needed.

This is a rare find, a perfect one bedroom apartment close to everything the city has to offer. It's a peaceful setting to watch boat and ship traffic, wildlife, runners, bikers, and boaters. It's an escape in the middle of the city with nature right outside the door. Very unusual for Portland. This is an interior-designed condominium equipped with modern decor, fresh linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and top quality beds. Trains will pass near by but they are easy to get used to. Walls are double-insulated for sound, and we supply other sound reducing items. Portland has big city amenities with a small town feel. This area reminds you that this is a waterfront shipping town. Steps from the Riverwalk, trolleys, light rail, buses, and Union Station. We are very proud owners of this cool, convenient, intuitively designed apartment on the water in the heart of Portland.
