Convenient well appointed, clean studio. Bringing bedding and towels, and removing recycling and garbage off island was a bit of pain as we were on bicycles and recycling depot was closed on Mondays.Area to sit outside was great and close to Ford Cove for dinner.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the deck. Everything was clean. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfortable. Lina was cheerful and helpful.

Lina is an excellent host. She showed us the cabin and told us about different things to do around the Island we were very comfortable and it was so relaxing Thanks again for everything We look forward to the next time we go

Our host Lina was very helpful and friendly. The cottage is rustic and basic but very comfortable and we had a very nice week there.

We loved our stay. Lina was a lovely host, very responsive and friendly. The cabin is charming and quaint, and the location is spectacular. We loved listening to all the the bird song and sea lions. So much natural beauty and wildlife!

Small but with everything we needed. Peaceful setting not far from Fords Cove, where you can have a nice meal on the water.Lina was helpful and always quick to respond.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Hornby at Linas

Kitchenette was equipped with basic appliances for food prep including microwave, hotplate, toaster, kettle & french press coffee pot.Studio cottage is in beautiful & quiet setting in tall forested hillside. Outdoor deck extends the cozy living area on nice days, with a lovely view to the seaside.

Lina was amazing and so kind. She checked in with us frequently to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The suite had everything we needed to cook and stay comfortably. The only thing that we could say is it is definitely dog safe but not exactly cat safe- the TV ledge and nightstand stable were tipy and we had to prevent the cats constantly from jumping on them. Other than that the cats loved the windows and it was enough room for them to be happy. The deck does get quite slippery with the rain despite wearing grippy foot wear. The place is a 5 min walk from a beautiful trail and so many blackberries all around the island. A perfect location that was close but also private.

Our visit was perfect, Lina is wonderful and respectful of privacy. The studio has a simple kitchen, ideal for a couple of days. We planned our meals and cooking in advance and were able to make our meals for a whole week. The setting is perfect, it's a close walk to Ford's Cove and the shore, the escarpment, and a beautiful walk with a high view of meadows. When we arrived, the room was clean and fresh, and, when we needed help with something, Lina responded immediately. I hope we can come back soon!

Such a great place. Three of us walked in from the ferry along the trail, perfect place to spend a couple days and explore Hornby by foot!

Great little cabin

Perfect place to stay on Hornby. Walking to Heron Rocks beach and Ford's Cove restaurant. Lina is a warm and congenial host.

What a gem. If you love nature this lovely location is for you. Towering evergreens surrounds this lovely studio. The sounds of bird song, sea lions and frogs captivated us while sitting outside on the private deck. Lina is such a wonderful and helpful host. She even came to the rescue when I had a minor medical emergency. The studio provided everything we needed for our two night stay. Next time it will be longer!

Perfect getaway

The studio is a perfect home base for a stay on Hornby. Easy walk to the beach, bed was comfortable, place was clean!

We really enjoyed our stay at Heron Rocks LookoutIt was a comfortable, clean, quiet and private space and perfect for our little getaway.Lina is a kind and pleasant host and made us and, very importantly, our dog feel very welcome. It’s great to have such pet-friendly accommodation. She was also very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Charming spot on Hornby!

Lina was very helpful and communicative with directions and checking in! Great little space with lots of amenities :) We wish we could stay longer! My son and I enjoyed our short visit to Hornby

Great Getaway

We had perfect weather and lived on the spacious deck when we were not enjoying beaches with our Coker Spaniel.Very relaxing and comfortable.Lina is a Great Host!
