This really is a nice cozy quiet condo. Clean and comfortable.It was a little further away from things than I expected, but this was my first time to Sun Valley. So the "walking distances" threw me off as it was not within walking distance of anything I had planned to do. But it was definitely a quick drive to everything, so not a huge deal.

Stayed for a hockey tournament and skiing. Great location. The upstairs bathroom was a little old, but overall, the condo was nice and clean.

This condo says it is a 2 minute walk from Sun Valley ski resort. It is in fact a 15 minute drive. Upon entering we found the carpets, rugs, and floors to be unvacuumed and found a spider next to the night stand oh the upstairs main bedroom.

Ski Vacation

Great location for access to Sun Valley skiing. The unit was very cozy for our family and had some nice upgrades for a building that is a bit older. We didn't use the community facilities but appreciated that the reservation came with an access pass.

Enjoyable Time in Elkhorn

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean and well organized. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pot and pans and anything you need to do cooking. Furniture was comfortable. Area was quiet. Easy access and close to Sun Valley and Ketchum. Personnel in property management office were very helpful and kept us informed of any changes that might be happening.

Perfect Fit

Surprisingly cool without AC, quiet and private. An Oasis even though it is a classic ‘70’s ski condo. Just what we needed. Great location as well.

It was cute and fit our family of seven. We brought to cars and Alpine lodging accommodated us with an extra parking pass. Next time I'll ask for an extra ahead of time. It was fine, but kitchen could use a pasta ladle and a garlic press. The condo was clean and charming. We'll try to stay here again next time we visit.Lewis Family

The property photos were excellent and it was easy to work with the property management company- whom we have worked with before. We come to Sun Valley every summer. The kitchen was well stocked as well. We had two main issues. While we knew there was no air conditioning- during a heat wave and even using the 5 fans left in the apartment, the unit allows for little to cross ventilation. The third bedroom has 1 tiny window and that kids staying in that room- even with the portable fans in the unit- were facing temps in the mid-80s when they went to bed. The unit desperately needs ceiling fans. Also- for 2 days the pilot light was on which was not easy to see. So the fireplace was essentially generating heat and should have been off further impacting the heat issue our first 2 days. Second- the unit needs better mattresses. They are too hard. The rest of the linens and pillows were fine. So- we had a week of very hot, very little sleep. The owners cannot control the weather- we went during a heat wave- but for the cost the unit should have been better equipped to navigate heat during the summer and the mattresses should have been a higher quality. We will be back to Sun Valley but not this unit. On the plus side- it is likely warm in the ski season!

Alpine Lodging created a great solution to our problem.

We were unhappy to discover that a construction project was underway which prevented us from using the deck, blocked our entire view from the living room and made the condo quite dark. This was particularly sad for one friend who planned to stay in the condo most days since she is a non-skier. Alpine Lodging found a solution to this problem which made us happy. Thank you for saving our vacation.

This was a really nice property. It had everything we needed, and it was quiet and conveniently located. My only issue is that the heating was a bit unreliable (it was very much an all or nothing situation), and the condo was poorly lit (Minimal overhead lighting, so it was always kind of dark. Most of the lighting came from lamps, and maybe a quarter of those lamps did not work for one reason or another.) I'm also not convinced that the carpet had been vacuumed recently, but it was satisfactorily clean.

The condo was nice and we loved the deck that was surrounded by aspens. It was very clean and quiet. For as many people that the condo can hold, it would be nice to have more seating available in the living room. The picture showed two rocking chairs with the couch but there was only one. One of the upstairs bedroom windows did not have a screen which was needed to have the window open to keep it cool. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
