This luxurious apartment is located in beautiful Plaza Colonial, right in the heart of the Las Terrenas village and beach scene. It offers the perfect blend of location, comfort and tranquility on-demand in this exciting section of town.
This 2nd-floor apartment offers three (3) bedrooms (balconies off each), two-and-a-half (2.5) baths, gourmet kitchen, large indoor living spaces and a spacious extended terrace. Enjoy commanding views of Colonial Plaza and adjoining Puerto Plaza. Playa Ballenas is 100 meters directly off the terrace.
The 12-foot ceilings give it a very bright and airy feel with nice trade breezes. Just down the stairs, there is a private association pool, bathrooms, changing rooms, BBQ area, lounge chairs and dining area. There is great fun to be had upstairs and down!
The apartment includes 10 kwt of electricity per day, and additional consumption will be charged at the checkout according to the difference between the start meter and the exit day meter, at the current price per kilo.

From your apartment you can walk in any direction to the very best that Las Terrenas has to offer . . . its incredible restaurants, exquisite cafes, legendary french bakeries, beach spots and more. Some highlights include Playa Ballenas (100m), Fisherman's Village & boardwalk (100m), Punta Popy (800m) El Paseo Plaza (300m) and of course the delights right in Plaza Colonial (Good Food Cafe, Spa, Salon, and more).

Your local manager is Alma & Olimpia. She and her team will prove to be a tremendous resource for you. Her office at Playamax Real Estate, a 3-minute walk. She will greet you upon your arrival and help get you settled. Many of our clients also work with Alma and our preferred providers to schedule in home cooking, massages on the terrace, housekeeping and more. These services are wonderful and reasonably priced.

We live in the United States and discovered Las Terrenas for ourselves in early 2012. We had to see LT for ourselves after reading an enchanting Caribbean Travel article.
A month or so later, we fell in love with LT almost the moment we crossed over the mountain range and saw the region's stunning natural beauty: miles and miles of pristine beaches, extremely lush palm forests and the deep blue Caribbean Sea. Incredible! Once in town, we were drawn to the cosmopolitan beach scene. TOP quality restaurants, french bakeries, cafes and countless beach bar options of all levels of sophistication. Also, it is great to have the option to take a bite out of a great nightlife scene on any given evening. Great discos (The Replay), Nightclubs (Gaia), Lounges (Mosquitoes, One Love, Mojitos are just the start) and even the venerable Bodega promise much fun and memories!
After months of scouring and searching various places and locations with my outstanding realtor, it all came together perfectly when we saw Ventanas al Mar. The place is beautiful and the location could not be better.
I don't know why LT is still largely a secret in the US. I have a feeling with their new highway and international airport, LT and the surrounding Samana peninsula is poised to become a major vacation destination.

This property was featured in a February 2017 episode of HGTV "Caribbean Life". The episode "Lessons in Las Terrenas" does a really good job of describing the beauty and vitality of Las Terrenas. It also shows the property's IDEAL location, enchanting architecture, build quality and beauty. It is one of just 7 units in this unique property. What's more, we love the community pool, furniture, bathroom and BBQ area which we almost always have to ourselves.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
If Las Terrenas had a Times Square, Plaza Colonial might be it. However, it is still incredibly quiet and tranquil given its location. When you want to take in the sounds and vitality of the village, just open up your Terrace doors and Las Terrenas is on full display as you look out.
