The place was awesome, our host was very welcoming,friendly and checked on us daily to make sure everything was to our liking. Very clean and cozy, I highly recommend!!

The host was very responsive. We liked her. Nice, clean, convenient. We also, unexpectedly, binged watch Netflix, as we do not have that subscription.

It was perfect for our getaway weekend. Jacqueline was a great host who stayed in communication with me the whole weekend to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Perfect location to the train and good restaurants.

The only reason why my rating is high is because of the host. Jacqueline was awesome, daily check-ins were very appreciated and clear communication throughout my stay.That being said? There is NO washer/dryer as indicated in the listing, NO dishwasher as was indicated in the checkout instructions, and I had a late flight coming in so it was pitch dark when I arrived to the side door only to come across an elevated stoop which I obviously could not see and almost fell, so my weekend could’ve started with an injury. The upstairs guests were stomping around well past 10pm, not a party as far as I could tell but the noise didn’t really go down until past midnight. Not the fault of the host or company but that’s something potential guests need to be mindful of when considering a listing on a lower level of a building. I don’t know much about Evolve but they need to do a better job of verifying their listings and sites in-person.

Thank you for the kind words about the communication and check-ins during your stay. A dishwasher isn't included in the amenities for this downstairs unit, and laundry is available in the garage laundry room, which is detailed in our welcome book. There is a single step at the entrance, and we encourage guests to use the provided outdoor lighting for late-night arrivals; we'll be adding an additional light at that entrance for future stays. We understand the noise from the unit above was frustrating, and our listing does note that other guests may be present upstairs.

Everything you need

Jacqueline was a great host. Very communicative and supportive. No issues at all. 3 beds were comfy and rooms were all clean and well maintained. We also rented the downstairs unit and it worked perfectly. Back yard is big and the little seating area is great. Group of friends stayed here for a wedding in Bayshore and it was perfect. Thanks!

Jacqueline was an absolutely wonderful host! Communication was prompt and warm. The location worked out just fine, perfect distance for local beaches, breweries and major roadways to get to other local cities to visit other friends and family or to catch the LIRR. The space was cozy and clean, perfect for my partner and I. Spacious shower, plenty of linens, comfy couch in the livingroom that doubles as a pullout bed if needed, the kitchenette worked for our needs if we didn't want to eat out for everymeal by having pots, pans, silverware, cups, plates/bowls, etc. There were some complimentary small snacks, coffee/tea, water bottles, etc--similar to what you may find in most hotels. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, tissues, handsoap, lotion etc were all provided in the bathroom--so even if you traveled lightly and forgot something, you had something to use until getting to a local store. I will mention that the upstairs guests staying in the other unit were a bit loud--I am unaware if they knew how loud they were or that we were staying beneath them, but loud stomping/slams and talking could be heard quite easily in the downstairs unit we were staying in. But that's a complaint towards those guests--as the host, location and actual room were just perfect. I loved the keyless entry as it made things seamless from the time I landed at LGA, no need to fumble with keys or a lockbox. Area is well-lit with security lights and a porch light when needed/used. 10/10
