We had a wonderful stay on Butterfly Lake! The space was clean and comfortable, loads of outdoor space to enjoy, and a dock with an amazing view! Highly recommend!

We have a wonderful time. Check in was easy, our cottage was well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. Short hop to many of the best sites around Muskoka. Angela takes great care with her property and her guests!

We just returned from our getaway and this cottage was awesome! Angela was an excellent host. She answered all of our questions on a very timely manner and she went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one! The place itself is a gem! Will definitely be coming back!

The cottage is perfectly placed at the end of Butterfly Lake. With all you need appliances and comforts. From the BBQ through to the large fridge freezer, dishwasher and clothes machines.Having the canoes and lifejackets was a win - we went out every day on the water.Location wise - there are many places to get to from the cottage and within a short stroll to the garrage at the beginning of the road for most quick items you may need.Start gazingFloating on the lakeSwimmingRelaxing - it’s got it all!Angela the host was fantastic too - thank you for running a wonderful house.

The cottage was immaculately clean and well laid out. The deck space was HUGE with many hang out zones. Perfect for morning yoga and stretch. The dock had a great view of the sunsets and the lake. We made good use ofnthe paddle boat and rhe kayaks. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is quite new and well appointed with lots of amenities. It is at the end of a 1.5 km dead end road so very quiet and private. The dock is right on the water so easy to jump in but there is no beach or place to wade in from the shore.

The Perfect Getaway!

We couldn't ask for more for our week vacation. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The dock was simply the best! Perfect for reading, jumping off and swimming, kayaking and most importantly, watching the sunset every night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, lovely getaway! Thank you. :)

Amazing Family Getaway

I can't thank Angela enough for this wonderful getaway. It was a perfect place to get caught up with family and just chill at the end of a very busy summer. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (cooking utensils etc.) to make our own meals. The deck is incredible, a huge space which had places to relax and unwind and which also provided a great view of the water, the stars and the forest. This cottage is very secluded so it is peaceful and there are some trails nearby to walk on. Angela was absolutely incredible and was always quick with responses to any questions we had. The wifi was excellent (for those that need to get a little work done) and making this opportunity available for our four legged family member was also much appreciated. The dock is big and a perfect place to sit by the water and relax. We will definitely go back again. It was the perfect family getaway.

This property is wonderful! Everything about it is as promised. Sitting on the dock for morning coffee or with a glass of wine to watch the sunset were my favourite moments!

Wonderful cottage, very clean, relatively new and well equipped. It’s comfortable for 5-6 people. End of the road and lakeside , very private and peaceful. The decking , BBQ and outdoor area and its furniture are amazing setting for hosting a large lunch or afternoon party if the owners allow that. but sleep wise only up to 6 can stay. Angela is very responsive. Check in easy. I suggest taking all drinking water need for your stay. Tap water doesn’t taste good.
